GREATER and LESSER LIGHT
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20.
This verse reveals 4 very important truths.
1. The law and the testimony are combined together, not separated from each other.
2. The law and the testimony are 2 parts of the same word, not 2 different words.
3. The law and the testimony together reveal what is light and truth.
4. The law and the testimony together expose what is darkness and error.
This shows us that in order to understand what is truth and what is error we need both the law and the testimony. It is not just the law we need in order to know what is truth and what is error, but we also need the testimony. And it is not just the testimony we need to know what is truth and what is error, but we also need the law.
Now, what is the law? Some believe the law only refers to God’s law of 10 commandments. But is this true?
“But [this cometh to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.” John 15:25.
In this passage we see that the phrase “they hated me without a cause” is to be found “written in their law”. Yet this phrase is not found in the law of 10 commandments, but it’s found in Psalms:
“Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: [neither] let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.” Psalms 35:19.
“They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, [being] mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty”. Psalms 69:4.
“Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise; For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. For my love they are my adversaries: but I [give myself unto] prayer. And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.” Psalms 109:1-5.
All these inspired passages reveal that because the phrase “they hated me without a cause” is to be found in God’s word and not in the 10 commandments, then this means that the word of God is the “law” that Christ referred to, and not the 10 commandments. So we can understand that the “law” spoken of in Isaiah 8:20 can be God’s entire word of the Bible.
Since we know that the law represents the Bible, then what is the testimony?
“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10.
This passage reveals that the testimony spoken of here is the testimony of Jesus which is the spirit of prophecy. So we can understand that the testimony spoken of in Isaiah 8:20 is the spirit of prophecy.
With these correct definitions in place lets reread Isaiah 8:20:
“To the Bible and to the spirit of prophecy: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.”
Now some believe that the testimony of Jesus is just referring to the Bible and not to any other prophetic writings. But this is not correct. Isaiah 8:20 does not say “To the Bible and to the Bible”, but “To the Bible and to the Spirit of Prophecy”.
So then, what does the Spirit of Prophecy mean?
“And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that [was] upon him, and gave [it] unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, [that], when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease. Numbers 11:25.
“And the spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy”. 1 Samuel 10:6.
“Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands.” Nehemiah 9:30.
These passages reveal that the Holy Spirit will come upon an individual, and when that occurs they will then prophesy. So the Spirit of Prophecy means that the Holy Spirit has inspired an individual to prophecy and speak the words of the Lord.
Now others believe that the prophets of the Lord ended with the death of all the apostles of Christ by the end of the first century AD. But this is not true.
“And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” Joel 2:28-32.
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:12-17.
These inspired verses reveal that after Israel would no longer be a nation under God, that the Holy Spirit would inspire even women to prophesy, dream and see visions from God for the benefit of the remnant, and that this would occur after a great earthquake, the sun being turned into darkness, the moon into blood, the stars of heaven appearing to fall, and all just before the day when the Lord Jesus Christ comes the second time.
But have any of these miraculous events occurred yet? Yes.
- This great earthquake occurred on November 1, 1755. It covered over 4 million square miles and was felt in Europe, Africa and across the sea in America.
- The sun was turned into darkness on the day of May 19, 1780. It was so dark at noon in the north-east of America that candles had to be lit in order to see. For most of that night there were no moon or stars seen, and it was so dark that a sheet of white paper held just a few inches away from the face could not be seen.
- The moon was turned into blood on the night of May 19, 1780. When the moon was finally seen later that night it looked like a ball of dark red blood.
- The stars/meteors falling from heaven occurred on the night of November 13, 1833. The falling of these stars/meteors lasted for around 3 hours, and at one time it was estimated that 240,000 meteors were falling all at that same instant, making the night sky bright enough to read a newspaper.
This means that sometime after November of 1833 God would pour the Holy Spirit upon even a woman who would prophesy and reveal God’s word of truth and instruction to His remnant people just before the coming of Christ.
Now I and many others know without a doubt that God poured His Spirit upon a young 17 year old woman named Ellen G. Harmon, who married James White. Ellen White wrote down what God had revealed to her upon many different topics of truth over the 70 years of her work for God. Her first vision occurred in December of 1844, and these visions continued throughout the rest of her lifetime until her death on July 16, 1915. And the Holy Spirit had indeed inspired her to write a whole lot on the truth!
“At the time of her death Ellen White's literary productions totaled approximately 100,000 pages: 24 books in current circulation; two book manuscripts ready for publication; 5,000 periodical articles in the journals of the church; more than 200 tracts and pamphlets; approximately 35,000 typewritten pages of manuscript documents and letters; 2,000 handwritten letters and diary materials comprising, when copied, another 15,000 typewritten pages. Compilations made after her death from Ellen White's writings bring the total number of books currently in print to more than 130.” Ellen G. Ellen White’s extensive writings and books made her “the most translated female non-fiction author in the history of literature, as well as the most translated American non-fiction author overall” (Wikipedia Online Encyclopedia, under Ellen G. White, at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellen_G._White, accessed 11-17-24). She has been translated into 140 different languages, and even the Smithsonian places her among the top “100 Most Significant Americans of all time” (Smithsonian Magazine, November 17, 2014, article titled: Meet the 100 Most Significant Americans of All Time, by T.A. Frail, at https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smithsonianmag/meet-100-most-significant-americans-all-time-180953341/, accessed 11-17-24.
But the question arises: Since there have been no known prophets of God since the death of all the apostles by 100 AD, then why would God wait some 1740 years before raising up His very last prophet - Ellen White - just before Christ returns? Also, isn’t the Bible enough for God’s people to determine what is truth and what is error? If so, then why did He also provide the Spirit of Prophecy for this last day people?
“Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time....And the dragon was wroth with the woman (church), and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:12, 17.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”. 1 Peter 5:8.
These verses reveal that as time draws closer to the end, the Devil becomes more angry, more determined and more deceptive in seeking to devour and destroy God’s remnant followers. So since we are in the very end of time, then the Devil’s anger, determination and deceptive power is tremendously greater than it was 1800 years ago and all his desperate efforts are being directed at the remnant people to try and destroy them before Christ returns.
“And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened....For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.” Matthew 24:22, 24-25.
As this is true, then how does God seek to protect these last day remnant - His elect - from all the Devil’s attacks?
“Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he.” Proverbs 29:18.
This verse reveals that in order to protect His people from perishing in the attacks of Satan, God raises up and sends them a prophet, whose writings and teachings would always be in harmony with His law.
“And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.” Hosea 12:13.
This verse reveals that God calls His people out of all fallen and corrupt religious bodies and then preserves them from the Devil’s anger through His prophet.
“Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:20.
This verse reveals that not only are we to believe in God, but we are also to believe in any prophet He sends, and in doing so we would be able to prosper by avoiding the deceptions of Lucifer’s falsehoods.
As these verses are true, and God has indeed raised up His last day prophet in Ellen White, then her writings are God’s chosen method of preventing and protecting all His remnant people from perishing, being destroyed and being deceived by any and all of the Devil’s furious, frenzied and deceptive efforts.
“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7.
This verse reveals that even the secret things of God would be miraculously revealed to His prophet, so that the remnant could be warned beforehand of the plotings and deceptions of Satan and would thus be able to escape being harmed.
All these inspired passages reveal that God has raised up Ellen White to be the prophet or messenger of God specifically to help His remnant people escape from all attempts of Satan to destroy them, and to be ready and prepared for Christ’s return.
Since God has raised up His last day prophet and given her the Spirit of Prophecy then what does Ellen White state about these things?
“As the end draws near, and the work of giving the last warning to the world extends, it becomes more important for those who accept present truth to have a clear understanding of the nature and influence of the Testimonies, which God in His providence has linked with the work of the third angel's message from its very rise....
“In ancient times God spoke to men by the mouth of prophets and apostles. In these days He speaks to them by the testimonies of His Spirit. There was never a time when God instructed His people more earnestly than He instructs them now concerning His will, and the course that He would have them pursue....
“The word of God is sufficient to enlighten the most beclouded mind, and may be understood by those who have any desire to understand it. But notwithstanding all this, some who profess to make the Word of God their study, are found living in direct opposition to its plainest teachings. Then, to leave men and women without excuse, God gives plain and pointed testimonies, bringing them back to the Word that they have neglected to follow. The Word of God abounds in general principles for the formation of correct habits of living, and the Testimonies, general and personal, have been calculated to call their attention more especially to these principles.” Testimonies, vol. 5, p 654, 661, 663-664.
“The ministers are opening up their tirade, and against Mrs. White in particular. But this is only hurting themselves. . . . I am placing Desire of Ages, Great Controversy, Patriarchs and Prophets, and Christ Our Saviour in families; so while the ministers are working against me, I will speak in my writings to the people. I believe souls will be converted to the truth. We are now turning them to the law and to the testimonies. If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.--Letter 217, 1899.” Evangelism, p 259-260.
These inspired passages reveal that God has given the Spirit of Prophecy to Ellen White to be the last day prophet or messenger of God specifically to help His remnant elect escape all attempts of Satan to destroy them. In addition, her writings are not just for Adventists but for all the world, in order to lead all who would believe into all truth.
Now, since God’s followers are to follow the Bible as well as the Spirit of Prophecy, and since these are the same word and never contradict each other, then is the Spirit of Prophecy on the same level as the Bible?
“Little heed is given to the Bible, and the Lord has given a lesser light to lead men and women to the greater light.” Review and Herald, January 20, 1903.
This inspired passage reveals that the Bible is the greater light, while the Spirit of Prophecy is the lesser light, and that this lesser light is given to lead all to correctly interpret and understand the greater light - the Bible.
As the Spirit of Prophecy is the lesser light to the Bible, does this mean we do not need this lesser light once we understand the Bible? No, because it is God’s will that His remnant elect have both. Remember, to the Bible and to the Spirit of Prophecy, if they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them.
Since this is true, then why did God give 2 lights? Isn’t just the greater light of the Bible enough? This is what we will investigate in our next Newsletter.

GENERAL FOREIGN MISSION WORK NEEDS
We are currently supporting workers in different Countries on a monthly basis. We check into the economy of each area and supply a base support which is adequate depending on their situation, but not extravagant. This base support is to ensure that the monthly needs of each worker and family is met for that month so that the worker may devote full time to the ministry work. In addition to this, we are sending extra materials for evangelism, and money for printing, publishing, holding meetings, traveling, and other necessary areas in spreading the Present Truth in their Country. And as the work extends, especially will the expenses for evangelism expand. Whatever you can send to help in this necessary and vital area is greatly appreciated.
The work of spreading God's present truth is not to be limited, but must extend world-wide to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people before our Saviour can come (Matthew 24:14). What better way of spreading the Present Truth Gospel than by having workers who speak the native language, who reside in that particular Country, who can live and preach the truth, visit the interests in their homes, and spread the printed truth translated into their native language!
"Our publications should be printed in other languages, that foreign nations may be reached. Much can be done through the medium of the press, but still more can be accomplished if the influence of the living preacher goes with our publications....The Lord has moved upon men of other tongues and has brought them under the influence of the truth, that they might be qualified to labor in His cause." Testimonies, vol 3, p 204-205.

CORRESPONDENCE FROM FOREIGN WORKERS
FROM KENYA, EAST AFRICA
Good morning brother Robert,
Hoping that this finds you well and active in the service of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Praise God.
It has been a while, but nevertheless, we are all fine. We had a national elders' meeting between June 26 and 29 in ____. It brought together elders from many areas in Kenya stretching from Coast, Central, Nairobi, Rift Valley and Nyanza regions. The purpose was to look into ways we can forge forward unity of purpose as we see the time coming to an end. This was the second meeting the first of which was in ____ in January. We had a peaceful meeting at the end of which it was resolved to have a national youth conference in ____ between 11th and 18th August. We need much prayers given our volatile situation in Kenya as you could be seeing in the media.
We made 100 copies of Protestant History by photocopy (which I have come to realize is expensive). But later on we made plates for Abomination of Desolation Stands and have run 2000 copies @Ksh. 35000 (about $270 US) inclusive of typesetting and plating.
We are working on Controversy over Revelation 18 and the Issue of Tithe. But with the remaining funds, we may do one. We gave priority to tracts and booklets for evangelistic outreach. Hopefully we'll have enough copies of these ready by the time we go to camps in August.
We will need funding to secure Bibles in Kiswahili and Ekegusii as their practices are higher with the available means.
Looking forward to greater work as time closes in to the end.

I am replying (to) your email...Elder thank you very much for this timely email for am hoping that this is my wake up call now. Praise be to God.
Please let me share my reasons (sorrows and disappointments) why I am silent for a while, and to make long stories short...
My sister behind me passed away on the 18th February and buried her on the 22nd Feb. And on the 25th Feb my brother in-law, a diseased husband drunk and (was) destroying his kids and house, so I was disappointed...with him....
Another issue rised amoung ourself as 5 of our faithful members from the church left us and joint the Health Reform movement on the 24th...Our leaders faithfully visiting them.
In the month of July my phone was pulled out from pocket by tags from the crowds. For almost six weeks I was without the phone....
8th August ____'s elder sister died and the next day 9th Aug my father's youngest brother passed away at the hospital. And on the 14th of August while burying the deads, a news reached me saying ____ your father (____) has closed his eyes. I know he will gone so I just left him with my son and walked away to the burial site.
I was deep down into the ocean of painful moments, and during our hardest moment no one came in to our home for visits or prayer with us accept only a single couple was with us until we recovered slowly to this stage now.
____ and I sit and think back to the past, "Why all these things are happening in our lives"? [Editor’s Note: the Devil is trying to destroy your faith and stop your work.]...Please keep us in your daily prayers....

January I briefed (informed) the leaders at the District leaders board meeting on the amount of donation for printer sent by LTBL Ministry (which was $4,500 US). I said donor want us to buy a ____ printer and (it) is at K23,000 (about $5,800 US). And I suggest money is not enough for ____ so we will go for another brand equivalent to the money we have here. But majority are going for ____ and they all suggested to raised some more money.
So we wrote a letter of request to all our churches for special donations...please we keep in touch on this project till we solve it....
September 6th, Pope Francis visit out country and left. After he left I was surprised to received many phone calls and text messages asking questions, and others appreciate for the booklets WHY PROTESTANT BOWING TO POPE, while others were requesting. I am busy corresponding with different individuals on Papal's movement.
Last week we have closed our week long District mini camp....

Hello brother Bob! I hope and pray that you are fine. I just want to say that I already get the money that you sent for the tracts and thank you so much.
About us and our work here, we are fine and doing great in the vineyard of the Lord through His help and guidance. I am busy in translating of your study, printing thousand copies of variety of tracts, folding and arranging them, and the by the help of my family and the brethren here, we did house to house work, distributing these tracts to people. We are also giving Bible study and health lecture to some people. We also have our online worship and Bible study every night. We are also dividing our time to spend our Sabbath with the brethren in different localities so we can strengthen and encouraged them also in the faith especially those new in the faith.
There are several sick people in our country site area, where people come over (to) us, asking me to teach and help them how to recover from their sickness through natural remedies. I have been known in this place because of several sick people that I've helped (get better) through the knowledge and light from the Lord through natural remedies. So when people are sick in this place, they go to me and seek an advice and help how they may be healed. This is also an opportunity for me, not only to help them but to lead them to Christ, the Great Healer and Physician both of physical and spiritual. For this reason, I am planning to enrol to an online lifestyle medicine course to have a certificate and then if God willing, we will put or build or establish mini-sanitarium or lifestyle center to help more people know how to care and cure their diseased bodies through natural remedies and it maybe the entrance for them to receive or know the gospel of salvation. I am asking you brother Bob to please include these in your prayers to the Lord for these.
Brother Bob, last June 16-22, we held our camp meeting in ____. We went home last June 24. Thank God for His guidance and protection for our long and tiring trip and for allowing us to be part of the camp meeting in ____. After arriving at home here in ____, we just stayed for a day and went to our country/camp site to do some preparations for our upcoming youth camp to be held this coming July 7-13, and on the 13th will be our fellowship for the whole ____. In this youth camp we will teach our young people on doctrinal studies and then on practical training and then we will do house to house work, giving out or distribute tracts to people and if some people are open for Bible studies, we will also do that. By this we may also encouraged the youth to help in the Lord's work....
This last August 22, me and my daughter, ____ went to ____ for the purpose of attending the ____ brethren fellowship and gatherings. Supposedly, we were accompanied also by one of our new member here that is an old lady who wanted to join in this gathering and meet and be more aquainted with the brothers and sisters in ____. But sad to say that before our scheduled date of travel, her brother died. Though she really wanted to go with us, she decided at the last moment to stay with her family. So only me and my daughter went there.
Going there, we travel by plane and then stay for one day in ____ City. We wanted to meet and see my husband's nieces and nephews who now lives and ____ and encouraged or invite them to attend the fellowship. They also lived here in ____ before and during their younger years, they were worshipping on Sabbath with us. These children grew with us and I'd been a second mother and a teacher to them, guiding and teaching them the way of the Lord. But then since the time that they move to ____, they backslide from the Lord. And they have been living in ____ for a decade or more and they are all full grown up already. Two of them have their partners now. Thank God that when we texted them that we want to see them, they did not hesitate to see us too. So when we met each other, we are so happy and give them an encouragement to go back in serving and worshipping the Lord. Praise God that their hearts are still open for the entrance of the Holy Spirit and the truth they've learned are still fresh in their minds and they never forget. They told us that they really wanted to go back to the Lord for they knew that the time is very short and Jesus is at hand. I hope and pray that God will continue to work in the hearts of these people and make a way for them that they may obey Him. Please pray for them.
On Friday, we went to ____, ____ to meet other brethren there who will also attend the gatherings. They came from towns from ____ province. And with them, we proceed to the actual place of fellowship in ____, ____. It was a happy feeling and gives us strength and encouragement to meet and see once again our brothers and sisters in the ____ region and be a part of their fellowship. And you know brother Bob, it's a season of fruits there, especially your favorite Durian? [Editor’s Note: No way! LoL]. Thank God for His abundant blessings.
On our way back home, we just ride on a boat. It takes 3 days for us on a boat and in the midst of the sea, and then a 10 hours long travel in a bus going back here. We arrived here last friday. A very tiring but blessed trip for the Lord. Praise the Lord for the safe travel and for the protection.
Brother Bob, last July we held in our camp site in ____ a one week youth camp. In this youth camp, we not only taught the young people the principles of truth in theory but also in practice and a lot of practical lessons that they may use in their living while waiting for the Lord. They learned the actual lessons in agriculture, in bread making, cooking and other household chores, and honed their talent in preaching, singing and in using musical instruments. We also bring them in doing house to house work and giving and distributing tracts. We distributed several boxes of tracts that we printed to several ____ and towns. Some of them testify how happy are the feelings when you were sharing the truths to others. These young people feel so blessed and happy through this experience and are requesting for another youth camp.
Brother Bob, I want to let you know that I have sent several boxes of tracts to ____ and other places too and will be sending more. Our sister in ____ told me that they already started giving out those tracts to their area and nearbys.
Also brother Bob, it is a sad news that our missionary car gave up already. We can't use it anymore because it is really broken and need a whole body repair. It is really a great help for our work because we can go easily to those places where we can share the truth and we use it for the fast distribution of tracts to other places when we were accompanied by other brethren. We also use it when we pick up people who wants to worship every Sabbath and especially during our large gatherings like fellowship, camp meeting and youth camp. This missionary car is very functional and a great help in the work of the Lord. So please help us pray that God will help us provide for its repair....[Editor’s Note: about $2,500 needed for repairs.]

Christian greetings from Uganda. The Apostle says we like beasts are hunted on every side by both the seen and unseen agencies to the the progress of the gospel, but nay we have the blessed Saviour navigating through to the glory of His name.
I have been invited to Kenya ____ metropolis for a camp meeting starting on 17th August 2024. It is joint camp meeting. There was a massive break from the main church structure and they still want to carry like the mother making a Church within a Church. They read their lessons, have worship services like SDA, they want to compete be like or better in worldly attainments. There may be great need to help them understand the principles of separation and some doctrinal mishaps.
Brethren, our work is solemnly momentous, involving weal or woe to thousands; we treat with souls for God on eternal business, and our word is either a savour of life unto life, or of death unto death. A very heavy responsibility rests upon us, and it will be no small mercy if at the last we be found clear of the blood of all men. As officers in Christ's army, we are the especial mark of the enmity of men and devils; they watch for our halting, and labour to take us by the heels. Our sacred calling involves us in temptations from which you are (not) exempt, above all it too often draws us away from our personal enjoyment of truth into a ministerial and official consideration of it. We meet with many naughty cases, and our wits end...; we observe very sad backslidings, and our hearts are wounded; we see millions perishing, and our spirits sink. We wish to profit you by our preaching; we desire to be blest to your children; we long to be useful both to saints and sinners; therefore, dear friends, intercede for us with our God. Miserable men are we if we miss the aid of your prayers, but happy are we if we live in your supplications. That Christ may be glorified. Thanks in advance....

Mr. Alfred ____, ____ got and his) son got blessing of books. ____, Mr ____ received tracts and books. One interesting person was ____ Youth leaders ____. He said I thought it bias, but after reading through twice realized that it was the truth and his Church the Roman Catholic was false.
Visited ____ management, gave them books. Their boss to the record keeper, some I may have forgotten, but heaven knows them. I pray they be imbued with the gospel truth....

I have been speaking to brother ____, it was a good discussion. He has told me that they are just coming from a Camp-meeting for SDA main stream, and he says the church has lost direction and him and others are not willing to go back. Henceforth they are requesting for more materials to understand separation message. Then I told him that am the one who took those booklets in his place to distribute, he was so happy. Moreover, I also told him about the upcoming camp-meeting which we commerce on Sunday here in ____. He says he is very much willing to come and attend so that he gets more information about separation and old landmarks.
For these souls who are hungering for the truth which your ministry had produced for many years, am again requesting for support so that we reprint more booklets from your ministry and buy them KJV Bibles, SOP books like Conflict Series. Please, please, please I pray that the Lord bless you to support this group which is willing to come and learn the truth. Your quick response will be highly appreciated...
The three months were busy for the preparation and actual camp-meeting for us in ____. The structures and sits were completed well using the natural trees and grass we have at the very sight. Contributions money came up according to the blessings the Lord gave us. This was used to purchase food, fuel and electricity materials and other few items as well as costs for hiring transport. But when it came to issues of the PA system (speakers, aplifire mixes and generator, we had a big challenge. By his grace brother ____ and sister ____ in ____ helped us to buy one speaker, from what the Lord blessed me with I also bought another one, but still I remained with a balance of $220US...
Praise God we had visitors from two neighboring countries, Namibia and Zimbabwe and from within the country but in different provinces. We had over 12 visitors. The loving Lord gave us very good presenters and lessons that revived us and made many of the brethren who were almost taken away from the new winds of messages that are missreading from the really truth. (Galatians 1:6-8).
Praise God after this camp meeting we had over 10 souls who got baptised. Elder Bob, even when we have many souls that are coming to the true message, we still have a big challenge on the following, 1. Many new and old members don't have Bibles in their local language. 2. We (have no extra money and) are no longer reprinting our booklets from your ministry which have very good separation messages. 3. Neither do we have SOP books being reprinted. Like the requests from the brother in ____ which you sent to me. The brother is still calling me asking me to take him many booklets and SOP books and local language Bibles, but to date I don't have a good answer to give him as you had referred him to me. Please please please kindly help us to fulfill the missionary works by your usual support. I need to travel with another brother to go and conduct Bible studies to this brother and others with him.
May the Lord help us. The ground is ready for the truth but no materials for them. As I want for the coming support this month end may the Lord bless those who can support this works so that you send enough for this works too.
