![]() ENTERING INTO LIFE, part 3 (final)
“...if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” Matthew 19:17.
In our last Newsletter we examined commandments 3-6, and we discovered that all these were very simply stated and easy for all to understand, yet they were far reaching into all aspects of daily life. Now we will be examining the remaining 4 of these divine commandments of the Lord God so that we can see more of how to enter into life.
The seventh commandment of God is:
“Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Exodus 20:14.
The seventh commandment of this covenant revealed how God wanted His people to respect and uphold moral purity, declaring that adultery was not to be committed. So instead of God permitting His followers to give loose reign to their sexual passions like the pagans around them, He desired them to be morally pure by keeping their bodies and passions under the control of reason, and to reserve any and all sexual intimacy for their own married spouse.
Yet not only does this command apply to human relations with other humans, but it also applies to human relationships with God. The Hebrew word for “adultery” is “na’aph”, and this word translates and means “to commit adultery, to apostatize” (Strong’s, word #5003), and to apostatize means to “abandon one’s faith” (Webster’s New World Dictionary, under word “apostatize”). This means that all who have chosen to enter into a covenant agreement with God to keep His commandments have actually entered into a relationship between God and them – like a marriage contract – with God promising to be their faithful God, and they promising to be His faithful people. If after entering into this covenant relationship with God, they should then choose not to live up to their agreement, would mean that they were no longer faithful, and thus would be in apostasy or adultery against God.
“Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the Lord.” But “Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you...” Jeremiah 3:20, 14.
The eighth commandment of God is:
“Thou shalt not steal.” Exodus 20:15.
The eighth commandment of this covenant revealed how God wanted His people to respect and uphold the property rights and possessions of others, declaring that all stealing was prohibited. Yet it was not just the stealing of the actual property or possessions of another that this commandment alone forbids. The Hebrew word for “steal” is “ganab”, and this word translates and means “to thieve, to deceive” (Strong’s, word #5003). This means that any and all deception, which actually steals the truth away from others, is also prohibited by this commandment.
The ninth commandment of God is:
“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.” Exodus 20:16.
The ninth commandment of this covenant revealed how God wanted His people to respect and uphold the truth, declaring that they were not to bear false witness against their neighbor. The Hebrew word for “false” is “sheqer”, and this word translates and means “an untruth, a sham, falsehood, lie” (Strong’s, word #8267). The Hebrew word for “witness” is “ed”, and it translates and means “a witness, testimony, recorder” (Strong’s, word #5707). This means that God prohibited His people from lying, telling untruths or spreading falsehoods under any conditions, whether they were a witness to some event, or were giving testimony about some person or group, or were writing and recording something about another. All God’s followers were to be very careful in all that they said or wrote about their neighbors.
But this restriction against all forms of lying included more than just the people living next door to you. The Hebrew word for “neighbour” is “reya”, and this word translates and means “an associate whether close or not, a brother, companion, fellow, friend, husband, lover, neighbour, or another” (Strong’s, word #7453). This prohibition against all forms of lying and spreading falsehoods included every person that His people had any form of contact with – whether close or not. Thus God did not care whether these people were family, or relatives, lovers, companions, friends, or associates. Nor did He care whether these people were close in relationship or very distant; whether they were known or were complete strangers; whether they were an Israelite, or from a different nation; whether they were of the same faith, religion, race, color or class distinction. This commandment prohibited all forms of lying and spreading of false information about anyone else without limitations or conditions.
Yet this commandment did not just prohibit all forms of untruths and falsehoods being personally spoken, written, or otherwise provided by you against another, but it also prohibited listening to all falsehoods being told you about others! The Hebrew word for “bear” is “anah”, and this word translates and means “to heed, pay attention, to testify, announce, hear, utter” (Strong’s, word #6030). So not only did this commandment prohibit God’s people from themselves bearing or uttering false information about another, but it also prohibited them from hearing or paying attention to false information being told them about another, and went even further by prohibiting them from giving heed to what they were told and then announcing or uttering it to others. Thus telling as well as listening to all forms of gossip, story telling, evil surmising and exaggerated statements about others were prohibited by this commandment. And how quickly would character destroying gossip die out for lack of eager listeners if all kept this ninth commandment in its fulness!
The tenth commandment of God is:
“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's.” Exodus 20:17.
The tenth commandment of this covenant revealed how God wanted His people to respect and uphold contentment with what He had already provided them with, declaring that they were not to covet their neighbor’s house, or his wife, servants, animals, or anything that he owned. In being content with whatever possessions you already have would eliminate envy and jealousy over the spouse, property or prosperity of others – no matter how beautiful and pleasing to eye all these might be. This would also eliminate the trap of overspending or borrowing in order to “keep up with the Jones”, and then having to overwork in order to pay the bills that such selfish indulgence brought. So this commandment was actually promoting economy and the need to live within one’s own means, and the contentment it brought was producing peace, rest, and health among God’s people.
So these are the 10 commandments that the mighty Lord God Himself spoke and wrote down to govern His people, and you can see some of the broadness and far reaching aspects that each commandment had in the daily lives of His followers.
Now, as you examine each of these ten commandments, you will notice that they can actually be divided into two main areas. The first 4 commandments are seen to be dealing with our relationship with God. While the last 6 are seen to be dealing with our relationship with other human beings. The first 4 commandments dealt with our commitment to God: showing who He was and His supremacy in our lives, how to worship Him, how to communicate with and about Him, and how to spend our time with Him. The last 6 commandments dealt with governing our interactions with others, showing that we are to respect and uphold authority, life, moral purity, possessions and property of others, truth, and contentment.
Since these 10 commandments can be divided into two main areas, and they were written upon two tables of stone, it is easy to understand that the first 4 commandments were written upon one tablet of stone, and the remaining 6 upon the second tablet.
But there was one common principle running through each one of these commandments and binding all ten together into a perfect whole. And principle was love!
The first 4 commandments dealt with love to God, and the last 6 dealt with love to our fellow human beings. And there was also one common area which all ten commandments were specifically directed against. That area was selfishness: or doing your own will either against God or against other human beings. So this law of God led its followers to deny self by loving God supremely above all else, and then to deny self by loving their fellow human beings as themselves. This means that if followed, the ten commandments would produce perfect peace, rest, happiness, contentment and prosperity, while eliminating envy, unrest, disorder, rebellion and chaos. So while on one hand God’s law upheld righteousness and moral purity in the daily life of His people, on the other hand it restricted and downplayed the wicked desires of their fallen, sinful nature throughout their daily life. And there was not an area in daily life that the law of God did not include.
All ten commandments were seen to be so broad and far-reaching that a person could not give in to selfishness without breaking one of the commandments in some way; nor could they choose to deny self without keeping one of the commandments. As these commandments were seen to be so broad and far-reaching that it affected every aspect of daily life, then all ten formed a complete governing law.
In fact, so complete was this law that each one of these commandments were not isolated from each other, but were all very closely connected. They are found to interweave and blend together so fully that they actually form a complete whole. So even though God’s covenant was made up of 10 distinct commandments, yet they all blended into each other thereby making up just one body of law. This meant that no one could be considered obedient to God if they neglected to keep all ten commandments, because to ignore or refuse to obey just one of the commandments, would make you a breaker of the whole law or the other nine commandments as well because of this intricate relation and inner-connectedness of each commandment with the others.
An example of this interconnectedness is as follows: If one of God’s followers decided not to worship God on His Sabbath day – being the seventh-day of the week or Saturday, then they would have clearly broken the 4th commandment. By choosing to do their own pleasure on God’s rest day, then this follower of God would be making their own desires to be greater than following the will of God, thereby making their own desires into a god, and thus breaking the 2nd commandment. They would also be placing their own will as a supreme god before the Lord God, and thus would be breaking the 1st commandment.
As the Sabbath day itself is the day of the Lord God – His holy day, but this follower of God wanted to do their own thing upon this day, then they are actually coveting what belongs to God, and thus breaking the 10th commandment. Since they choose not to devote this day to worshiping God, then they have actually stolen time away from God that should have been given to Him, thus breaking the 8th commandment. Neither are they showing the honor and respect due to God who has manifested such fatherly love and care over them, thus breaking the 5th commandment.
By not keeping the seventh day as a holy worship day to God, yet they profess to be a follower of God, then they have broken the 9th commandment by falsely claiming to be something that they really are not. They have also taken God’s name or character in vain and broken the 3rd commandment because they are not following God’s example of resting upon this Sabbath day, and thus are not manifesting the same righteous character of God whom they profess to serve.
By choosing not to remember to keep the Sabbath day holy, thereby willingly committing sin and deserving the penalty of death, then they have actually chosen death for themselves – or are committing suicide – which breaks the 6th commandment. And finally, since they voluntarily chose to be a follower of God, and entered into a covenant relationship with God – agreeing to remain faithful to Him as His bride, and God agreeing to remain faithful to them as their Husband, then because they have now chosen to break the Sabbath they are no longer upholding their part of this marriage contract or covenant. As they are no longer faithful to their righteous God and loving Husband, but have now committed sin against Him, then they have actually left His side and united with another – who is the author of sin, and have thereby committed adultery and broken the 7th commandment.
As can be seen in this example, by just breaking one commandment all the other 9 commandments are broken as well.
“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of [breaking] all.” James 2:10.
This wholeness and oneness of God’s law clearly reveals that it is a perfect law in all aspects. As anything that is perfect could only be created by someone else who was already perfect, then this perfect law proves that God is perfect in all aspects, and that there is no imperfection in Him. And as this perfect law of God dealt with all aspects of action and relationships towards God and others, thus dealing with character, then this law is seen to be a perfect reflection of the perfect character of God – just like a written transcript. As this is true, then anyone who would follow all ten commandments would thereby become perfect in character as God is. While anyone who chose not to keep all ten commandments of this perfect law would thereby not become perfect in character. This means that God’s law is the standard between what actions are perfect, versus what actions are imperfect. It is seen to be the deciding factor between righteousness and unrighteousness; between what is not sin versus what is sin.
“...all thy commandments are righteousness.” Psalms 119:172.
“All unrighteousness is sin”. 1 John 5:17.
Since this perfect 10 commandment law is the standard of righteousness, and is also a perfect reflection of God in character, then this proves that God Himself is the Author and Originator of all righteousness. This means that disobedience to this righteous law is a perfect reflection of the character of the one who first disobeyed God – or Lucifer, proving that he is the author and originator of all disobedience or sin. So if a person chooses to keep all ten commandments in every aspect, then they would become just like God in character – perfectly righteous.
“And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.” Deuteronomy 6:25.
But if a person should instead choose to disobey one or all of the commandments in any aspect, then they would actually become just like Lucifer in character – perfectly sinful.
“...the devil sinneth from the beginning.” 1 John 3:8.
This means that this perfect law of God is seen to be the deciding factor between those who serve God, versus those who serve Lucifer; it is seen to be the standard to judge between those who are the followers of God, versus those who are the followers of Lucifer.
As this is true, then there is no need for anyone to deceive themselves by hiding behind a empty name or profession alone, and no need for anyone to ever be deceived again by someone professing to be a follower of God when they are really a follower of Lucifer. All anyone needs to do is to examine their own life and actions, or the life and actions of another, by this perfect law of God in order to clearly see whose follower they really are. Any disobedience of God’s great perfect law and standard is sin, and those who sin are not of God.
“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” 1 John 3:4.
“He that committeth sin is of the devil”. 1 John 3:8.
So this law was perfect and complete in itself; it was bound together into such a whole law that one part could not be violated without breaking all the rest in the same violation; it was the standard of judging between who was worthy of blessings or cursings; and it was the deciding factor between what was righteous versus what was sin! All these things showed conclusively to any thinking person – whether Israelite or pagan – that this law had to be of divine origin and could not have been the product of any sinful human mind.
As God’s 10 commandment law was a covenant, and promising to keep God’s law was the terms necessary to enter into this compact or league with God to be His people and He their God, then it was very easy to determine whether or not one was remaining true to their covenant with God. If they were keeping all of God’s commandments, then they were keeping their covenant and agreement with God, and were also showing themselves to be righteous in life. But if they were breaking one or more of these commandments, then they were breaking their covenant and agreement with God, and were also showing themselves to be sinful in life. This meant that God’s 10 commandment law was the distinguishing factor between those who served God versus the pagans who served Him not, and thus was the distinguishing factor between all those who claimed to be God’s followers. Those who kept all 10 of God’s commandments were remaining faithful to their covenant agreement with God to be His obedient people, and their obedience proved their claim to be true. But those who were not keeping all 10 of God’s commandments were thereby showing that they were not remaining faithful to their covenant promise with God, and their disobedience proved their claim to be false.
But now dear listener, the big question is: Will you also agree and pledge yourself to obey and keep all the commandments of the Lord God Michael who became Jesus Christ when born into humanity? Will you covenant to love and remain faithful to Him as a bride would to her husband? If you do, then Jesus will agree and pledge Himself to be your God, and will also remain faithful to you as a husband would be to the one that He truly loves and adores above all others!
“...as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.” Isaiah 62:5.
“For I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:2.
“...I am married unto you”. Jeremiah 3:14.
Once you choose to unite with Jesus and covenant with Him to keep His commandments, then something amazing occurs.
“[The Lord God Jesus Christ says to you] I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. [You say to Christ] As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love....My beloved is mine, and I am his”. Song of Solomon 2:1-4, 16.
Dear listener, choosing to keep all of God’s commandments in order to have your life bound up with the life of Jesus, is indeed entering into life!
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous....And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:3, 11-12.
Dear ones, will you choose to covenant with Jesus and keep His commandments so that you may be united with Him in a close bond that will last for eternity? Will you indeed enter into life?

![]() ![]() MINISTRY NEEDS
![]() "Let There Be Light" Ministries is committed to the spreading of the full present truth gospel message worldwide, and has been doing so since 1986. This Ministry has operating expenses covering the areas of: printing, publishing, and writing of present truth books, booklets, tracts, and other literature; DVD, video and audio taping, production, and distribution; supporting ministers and workers in foreign Countries; mail order – both domestic and foreign; traveling to hold meetings – both locally, nationally, and internationally; answering correspondence and questions regarding the message of truth; offering National and International Bible studies; sending free present truth literature to contacts in many poor Countries; etc.
Your gracious prayers and support is greatly appreciated and needed. Without the Lord's guidance, blessings, and your support, this Ministry could not continue to reach out worldwide with the precious message of Revelation 14:6-12 & 18:1-5.
May our God and Saviour continue to lead and guide all those who have helped us reach souls who sit in darkness with the precious light of gospel truth. May our supporters remember that they share in each and every soul who has been reached by this Ministry and converted to the Lord and His present truth!
GENERAL FOREIGN MISSION WORK NEEDS
![]() We are currently supporting workers in different Countries on a monthly basis. We check into the economy of each area and supply a base support which is adequate depending on their situation, but not extravagant. This base support is to ensure that the monthly needs of each worker and family is met for that month so that the worker may devote full time to the ministry work. In addition to this, we are sending extra materials for evangelism, and money for printing, publishing, holding meetings, traveling, and other necessary areas in spreading the Present Truth in their Country. And as the work extends, especially will the expenses for evangelism expand. Whatever you can send to help in this necessary and vital area is greatly appreciated.
![]() The work of spreading God's present truth is not to be limited, but must extend world-wide to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people before our Saviour can come (Matthew 24:14). What better way of spreading the Present Truth Gospel than by having workers who speak the native language, who reside in that particular Country, who can live and preach the truth, visit the interests in their homes, and spread the printed truth translated into their native language!
![]() "Our publications should be printed in other languages, that foreign nations may be reached. Much can be done through the medium of the press, but still more can be accomplished if the influence of the living preacher goes with our publications....The Lord has moved upon men of other tongues and has brought them under the influence of the truth, that they might be qualified to labor in His cause." Testimonies, vol 3, p 204-205.
![]() Please financially help us to continue supporting our current ministers and workers on a consistent basis, so that the spreading of the truth will not be interrupted but can quickly lighten this dark world with the glory of God.
![]() "Every opportunity should be improved to extend the truth to other nations. This will be attended with considerable expense, but expense should in no case hinder the performance of this work. Means are of value only as they are used to advance the interest of the kingdom of God. The Lord has lent men means for this very purpose, to use in sending the truth to their fellow men." Testimonies, vol 3, p 208.

June mission month report: l traveled to ____ on Sabbath meeting with Adventist church, and l had to talk to them about our beliefs on Health Reform principles and diagnosed them with free check on their high blood pressure, and that is June 1.
On Sunday, l went to house to house for medical outreach, and Bible studies. June 15 l traveled to a town called ____, on the Sabbath meeting with the Adventist church. l had opportunity to talk to them on Health Reform principles, and diagnosed them. They again invited me.
29 June: one sad thing is that Adventist church doesn't know our health messages. Health and Temperance messages has quit from the church. We need to reach them, and educate them, else Jesus coming will delay, since the church has no true knowledge our health principles.

Hi Elder Bob,
I have read your April - December, 2023 Newsletter entitled: ENTERING INTO LIFE, part 2, and I really appreciate it.
I am thankful to the Lord for keeping up His work, (with) you and other workers across the world regardless of all the efforts put forth by the Devil and his allies to stop it. This is a clear indication and warning that we have to work while it's still day for the night cometh when we cannot work.
I am here in Ghana doing the best I can to spread the gospel through the media and the printed page. I have over one thousand people who I send devotional messages and Bible and S.O.P Messages to via WhatsApp, Telegram and Email. Besides, I share these devotionals etc. on Facebook. This is what I am doing to spread the gospel....
May the good Lord richly bless and continue to grant you strength to continue on till Jesus comes.
Blessings, B.J., Ghana, Africa.
Dear Elder Robert.
Receive Kingdom greetings to you, your family and the Body of Christ the Church. Thank you for your response. It is such a blessing to hear from you.
Allow me share with you of my Kingdom journey as you get to know more about me and the work am doing.
I was born in a Muslim family and my parent used to practice all kinds of spiritualistic rituals and yet they attend the Muslim services. Most of the time I used to differ with them as I had a small Bible and whenever I read it I could see that they were or we were going against the Bible.
When I joined High School I was full introduced to Christianity and later I was baptized and received Jesus as my Saviour. When I went back home 4 years later after High School...I tried to share the good news of Jesus with my family and the Muslim community in our area. Things turned hot for me. I was excommunicated from the community and that is how I got myself in the streets with my wife.
One day my father became sick and was near to die...the people had tried to do all the rituals to cure him, they had gone to several hospitals but there was no cure. I was called back home to witness his passing. When I arrived home, he was dying...I prayed for him and I hear a Divine Voice from God telling me that he was cured the moment I prayed. To everyone's surprise my father was made whole, and alive up to date. From that day God opened an avenue for a Christian church in our place and the next Saturday we had a first service.
We have had the opportunity to see the great work you are doing in reaching the lost souls.
I pray with you and request you that you kindly extend and expand your ministry work to Kenya and establish us free in your ministry work. May you make a Macedonia visit to Kenya and join hands together with us to be fishers of men....
May it please your honor and love as I hope to hear from you in the Love of God.
Be blessed. P.K., Africa.

![]() (Combination of 2 letters) Dear elder brother Bob,
1 Joh.3:1.
It is 8.30 in the morning here, which could be midnight there. I hope you will receive this mail when you wake up. Good morning!
It has been sometime now since I last wrote to you. The months of July through the early part of September found us busy with missionary visiting from place to place. I attended three evangelistic efforts before the August camp meetings. Actually in August I had one camp in ____, and the first week of September had another one in ____. We had been invited to that camp by friends who recently broke ranks with the conference administration. I with another brother had a good series of studies with them on prophecy and the Sanctuary throughout that week. It was generally invigorating seeing the interest with which the messages were being received....
The month of April was so congested for me. In the first two weeks of the month I was in an evangelistic campaign, after which I went to ____ for a camp meeting for one week, and immediately after we had a Youth Seminar at ____'s home centre for another week ending on 28th April.
All this time I had not checked my mails, in fact until this evening only to pump into these bulk of them. Let me see what I can do from tomorrow as I wait for response from these contact, and of course mail the materials (that) we will be able to secure.
However, we have not had (knowledge) how can print the present truth booklets as yet. In the meantime, we'll photocopy those we can for those requests.
Looking to seeing our Lord coming in the clouds of heaven.
Be blessed, remain blessed.
In love, B.I., Kenya.

![]() (Combination of 3 letters. Dear brother Bob),
3 John 2.
I’m so sorry for not writing you for a while. We just had been so so busy for the preparation for the camp meeting. The camp meeting date was almost there but the construction of the meeting hall was not yet finished and still there were a lot of things to do. A month before the camp meeting and still there's no trusses and roof. We also need to build comfortable rooms. Installed water and electricty in the area. Although I had already bought some of the trusses and roofing materials, we just don't have enough money to buy everything else and we don't have enough money to pay the roofers. We were asked for a labor fee of 40 percent of the cost of the materials and that is huge. The budget we had is running out and I don't even know where to get money to buy the missing materials and to pay the contractor for the trusses and roof. I calculated the cost of materials, and if the cost of materials is 300,000 (pesos), 40 percent of that is 96,000. But the real cost is more than that. It's so big and we don't have that much anymore. By faith I dared to borrow from the bank for additional money for the construction materials, and thank the Lord that the bank gave me a loan. but still not enough. I talked to the hardware manager if I could borrow some of the missing materials if my payment become insufficient and she agreed on the condition that I pay after two weeks. By faith I accepted the offer even though I didn't know where I was going to get the payment at that time....our only problem is to who will make the trusses and roof. We thought of asking for help from our brothers in ____ and ____ who we know know how to do the trusses and roofing especially our brother who is a foreman in ____ and our brother in ____ who knows how to weld. we begged them if they could help us and they didn't hesitate to help. We also called on others to see who else could help both financially and manual labor and some responded to it. In short, by faith and with cooperation and help of all the brethren the meeting hall was built and the roof was completed exactly before the date of the camp meeting. Even though the flooring of the meeting hall was only dirt and the wall was tarpaulin, the camp meeting was held succesfully.
During our camp meeting, everything went well. Brethren from whole ____, some from ____ and ____ arrived. We had our studies from morning and afternoon. After our afternoon studies our elders and young men went out and go house to house, singing and inviting people to attend the meeting at night and hear the message. Everynight, we had several visitors listening to the message. And we are hoping that the seeds of truth that were planted in their hearts will grow and bring fruits to the Lord. We will visit them again for follow ups.
We really bring back the glory and praise to our great God for making possible the things that are impossible. We had started just a plan to have a camp meeting, and to build a huge meeting hall, without any centavos in our hand. We just walked by faith that God who is the source of all the resources will provide all our needs. Its really amazing how the Lord worked for His cause. Truely, with Him nothing is impossible....
Praise the Lord for all the blessings and protection that He has continually bestowed upon us especially for the blessing of health and life that we are still strong and alive that we may continually serve Him and do His will.
Brother Bob, since August, after our camp meeting, I focused on translating, making, editing and printing reading materials to be distributed so that our brothers and sisters here could have something to use in the work of the Lord. We also want every members of the church to be active that they will have a part in the Lord's work so that it can be promoted faster. Thank God that I was able to finished 5 different tracts and printed thousands copies of it. Some of it were given to the churches for their personal ministry and most we used it in our house to house work. With the brethren in every church here, we went to every barangay or barrios and doing house to house work, giving out tracts and inviting them for Bible studies. After that, we asked them if we can come back and continue our Bible studies with them. Some showed interest so we come back to them again. Every week I need to print tracts so that the work will continue. I need also to continue on working on editing and lay outing materials to print. I used your tracts and studies but I need to edit some to cut it short but the message is still there, and lay out it before I print it. I already bought several boxes of bondpaper and I draw all the money from the support that you sent me. But thank God that last time that I print, the church in ____ bought 1 box of bondpaper which they draw from their offerings. The churches here are poor, mostly the members are farmers only and we cant expect much from them.
Brother Bob, I want you to know that half of the support that you sent to me, I shared it to my co worker and minister here in ____ so that it will help him also and his ministry. Although life is so tough and hard and the support that we received is not enough but thank God that we still survived. Last October, he (my co-worker here in ____) and other missionaries from ____ went back to ____ to help established the churches there that we visited before. False shepherds were coming in and entering the churches there and troubling and scattering the flock there, so we decided that they will go back there and established the brethren there in the truth and in gospel order.
As of now brother Bob, I am finishing the translation of your Correspondence and at the same time editing it because I am planning to make it like a book version like a Bible Study Guide and give it to our brothers and sisters in the churches here. I found it very nice and helpful especially in giving Bible study with unbelievers. It is full of Bible truth. And I can see that it will be a great help to our brethren, it can be their help and guide in giving Bible studies outside. I have just one concern and prayer brother Bob. Please pray for me to have my own laptop because as I've said before I am just borrowing laptop because my old computer was broken. I am also planning to print your booklets and also spirit of prophecy books in the coming days to distribute it to our brethren and to the unbelievers also. Please continue to pray for this work.
Also brorher Bob, I want to inform you that several members from Grover's camp are coming back to us now. The Lord is opening their eyes and snatching them from errors. Their group believed that Jesus is coming here on earth on May 15, 2026 Friday, between 9 pm-12 midnight. And that is a clear deception because the Bible and SOP clearly teaches that no one knows the hour or day of Jesus' coming and there is no time prophecy since 1844. Thank God that He is gathering His childrens now.
Also brother Bob, there's a lot of people now who are coming to me who are sick asking for help. And its an opportunity for me to lead them to the Great Healer and teach them the principles of health and what are the simple remedies. Really the world needs an education on health principles and how to apply them. Really, there's a lot work to be done for the Lord. I am praying that God will give us strength and health and means to do whatever we can to help and blessed our fellowmen and to scatter the seeds of truth in all around us.
This coming December, during holiday season, we are again planning to have another camp meeting in our area where we built our hall to again invite people and give follow up studies with what we have already begun. We will also planning to have childrens sessions, health lecture and gospel with music minsitry. So please include this again in your prayers.
I have a lot of things to say to you brother for what we are doing here for the Lord, but it is hard for me to construct my words in English. I hope you will understand me in this letter.
I just want you to please continue include us and our work here in your prayers especially the workers meeting that is being held every week. We are comparing our stand on every doctrine. And I am praying and hoping that we will come up united and in harmony with each other in every point of doctrine at last. Brother Bob, do you have a Viber account? So that we can contact you if there's an urgent need or help from you for your light and understanding and view in some point of doctrines. If you have, just let me know....
Anyway, going to ____, we have two other brethren with us as representatives from two churches here, but there are other more representatives that followed with us. We just traveled early because before the said Council Meeting there's an invitation for us in ____, ____ to speak in a Sabbath before the Council Meeting. This group in ____, ____ is also a present truth believers but an independent group. Through calls and chat, we are communicating to them and sharing to them and encouraging them to be united with us. So we decided that before going to ____, we will first pass through ____ so that we can share the truth with them to strengthen them and encourage them to unite with us. From here to ____ is also a long journey and a large cost of transportation. From here it took 17 hours before we got there. There was a lot of transfers from one place to another until we got there. But thank God that we arrived there safe. We are so happy seeing the brothers and sisters there. But sad to say that because of our long and tiring journey, without proper and enough sleep and meal, my health declined, I got sick when I got there. I tried to fight the pain, I still endured with the help of the Lord. I was still able to prepared and cook our food for the Sabbath. We continue worship the Lord on the Sabbath. We were able to talked and shared with the brethren there on Friday night and the whole Saturday. And they were so happy and blessed with our presence and the encouragement that we gave them. They are inviting us to visit them every once a month to spend Sabbath with them. We hope and pray that they will be united with us totally by God's grace. On Saturday night we left ____ and proceed to the airport, waiting for our flight on Sunday morning. So again, for the whole night we don’t have enough sleep and proper meal. (Here in the Philippines, we hardly find a vegetarian meal in the restaurant.) That's why when we arrived in ____, I hardly speak and have no voice already. But thank God that through the help of natural remedies, my voice gradually returned there as days goes by although not completely back to normal, but at least I can speak something even though there's hoarseness.
On Monday, the Council Meeting was formally started. We talked first about how we will organized our church according to the Lord's will for it says in RH Aug 27, 1861 that "And now unless the churches are so organized that they can carry out and enforce order, they have nothing to hope for in the future."
For the whole Monday, there's a hard discussions for what kind of organization we will adopt. Thank God for guiding and leading us. We still united to adopt the simple kind of organization as patterned by the disciples. We just discussed how we will do it that every department [like Publishing, Medical, Gospel and others] may work actively and successfully and how we will help finance it. We also discussed about what name to adopt and used so that we have a united answer when someone asked every members of the church and we can also show to the world that we are really united. We saw and learned that its not safe to adopt the name Seventh day Adventist anymore because of the wrong influence and sentiments they have given to the world. So everybody agreed to adopt the name Sabbath Remnant Church as we considered our brothers and sisters in other countries like you. But for safety purposes, we will inquire to the government if someone or group has already owned that name to avoid issues or problems in the future.
We also discussed about the church property, but we will still have some considerations and we need more study regarding on it since there are some complicated issues on it especially when you register it in the government.
Brother Bob, we also discuss about the support of ministers and missionaries here in the whole Philippines. There's a suggestion that all of the workers in the Lord's vineyard here received an equal remuneration or wages. And since they knew that you are supporting me, they are asking if the support that you have given me in regular basis is your tithe money or your personal help or support for me? What can you say about this?
Brother Bob, we have an invitation to go to ____ to help the newly come to the faith to established them in the truth. Several groups like SDARM, IMS and other independent groups are coming in to them, disturbing and injecting their errors, causing troubles among them since they are new and not yet settled in the faith that's why they are troubled. So some of the brethren there are asking to help them. And since no one is available, we volunteer myself and brother ____ to help them if the Lord allows us to go there. As of now my voice are not yet back to normal and I am still sick and in healing process. Additional to this last friday, I got dizzy and my head was bumped strongly to the wall and it really hurt me and until now the headache still hurts. I went to the doctor and was told that I need to get a CT scan but they charged me 6,600 but I don't have that money. I just put a cold compress on my head everytime the pain attacks. Please pray for me that God will completely heal me that I will still attend to and do His work. And also pray for us that God will provide our needs to go there in ____ because it is really far from our place. We also need to go to ____, ride for a bus for 10-12 hours and then in ____ ride a plane going to the ____ city in ____ and then from city going to the mountain. Our brothers and sisters there are native people, native tribe of ____ and they are living in the mountain. Going there I need someone to be with me. Brother ____ wanted to go with me but is hesitant to go because he needs to work to have an income because he has still have an obligations to settle with our bills and our children who are still in school. But still we pray that God's will be done.
This coming Saturday we will have our fellowship with the brethren here in ____. Three individuals that we labor here for months and years through the help of God decided to serve the Lord wholly and fully and wanted to be baptize this coming Saturday. We invited one of our minister here to officiate in this baptism. May God help these souls to be strong in the faith and consecrate themselves in the service of God and in winning other souls to Him.
Brother Bob, we have an scheduled camp meeting in ____ this coming June 16-22. We will pray that you will make it to this camp meeting, God willing. However, if not in the providence of God that you can't attend this June, we're still hoping and praying that by God's grace, you can make it on the next camp meeting either November or December.
Till here for now brother Bob. Please continue to pray for our work here. God bless.
In Christ, s.b., Philippines.

![]() (Combination of 3 letters) Dear elder Bob,
Greetings from this way. I have been going through some health difficulties either prolonged effects C19 headache which would not allow me (to) concentrate. I have dizziness, some deep pain in Medulla Oblongata. By God's grace I'm feeling better (and) thank you for your prayers and continue humble requests in my behalf. Matthew 26:41: “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Once again thanks for the support, it has been said a bird in a hand is better than two in the air. What our heavenly (Father) decides to give is more than the others - Luke 21:2-3....It was these little coins that were a wheel within the wheel. It was this that every mid week they gave to the underprivileged, blind, the deaf, widows and the disabled. It was this money taken dishonestly by Judas Iscaroit that makes him greater thief than those who rob banks. He knew he was well-off, but had no mercy to disperse (to other) souls. It's this corruption that God will terribly judge the churches. Even David who lived before Christ, never took advantage of any situation, but expressed and reflected Christ - 2 Samuel 9:8....
In my outreach movements (I) met a blind man...His troubles began upon the family breakdown. He was taken to the uncle's, the mother moved on to another marriage. At 7th birthday he started experiencing difficulties with his sight. They moved to different eye hospitals (where) the Optician told him you have (no) option (and) shortly he became blind. He attended some school of the blind and deaf to help him accept his new normal. (Now) He really appreciates this condition, (as) the Lord rendered (gave) him the abilities to stand and enjoy life even without sight. He is a happy man, brilliant, settled in the mind and man of faith who loves God. It was in this school that God in His mercy gave a wife who was also disabled and according to she was slightly better than himself. After God blessing them with three children when the wife went to visit their home she never came back. To date he has struggled to take care of his family...I encouraged him with Ecclesiastes 5:8: “If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.”...
We held a Camp meeting from 28th August to 3rd September 2023 in ____ District, ____ at shores of Lake ____, the theme was "Caught Unprepared" the brother requested incomplete house is where we slept in unshut place (with) incomplete floor. God kept us throughout the most risky place. Six souls were baptized. Brother ____ gave part of his land to raise a church building, for one of our greatest challenge has been places of worship/church has pushed this behind. We are grown old, how are letting burden (pass) to the next generation, something needs to be done otherwise we shall be like we have not been and yet the Lord in mercy through you people has educated us in the His word....
Tracts were given to medical internal students over 57 in number....
“The Christian life is a battle and a march. In this warfare there is no release; the effort must be continuous and persevering. It is by unceasing endeavor that we maintain the victory over the temptations of Satan. Christian integrity must be sought with resistless energy and maintained with a resolute fixedness of purpose. No one will be borne upward without stern, persevering effort in his own behalf. All must engage in this warfare for themselves; no one else can fight our battles.” Ministry of Healing, p 453.
“To every worker for God this thought should be a stimulus and an encouragement. In this life our work for God often seems to be almost fruitless. Our efforts to do good may be earnest and persevering, yet we may not be permitted to witness their results. To us the effort may seem to be lost. But the Saviour assures us that our work is noted in heaven, and that the recompense cannot fail.” Testimonies for the Church, vol 6, p 305. Christian Service, p 267....
I have labored in giving tracts and to families and friends. With this I pray and ask you to pray for those souls that they may find the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
There is a coming effort at ____, (and) I request for your earnest prayers and support that will take place next year God willing....
Many nations have suffered from various natural disasters, including flooding, tornadoes, tsunamis, and other catastrophes....East Africa has been experiencing heavy rainfall and floods that have caused devastation and loss of life...These floods have been exacerbated by the El Nino weather phenomenon, which has led to extreme weather conditions in the region.
Roads have been damaged, bridges washed away and we experiencing internet problems. ____, ____, and ____ have undisclosed number of displaced. ____ and those around mountain ____ are likely to suffer from massive landslides. Everything in our world is in agitation....
Our nation is having census, (and) there (is) minimal fear, but formerly it was common belief that (with) every numbering of people a pestilence would follow. I think (this fear was) based on 2 Samuel 24:1,3,10,15....
I apologize for the delays in writing to you, certain things are beyond our control. You have the intention to do something, but just the Scriptures say the spirit is willing but the body is weak. The work this side is going on even though there seems little results, it is like we are working out of season.
I stood with ____ (and) he suffered from severe injuries in accident (where) his arm was amputated. I gave some clothes and other things, he also took tracts and books.
A new neighbor Mrs ____ was given Great Controversy book. (I’ve) Made home visits. One that I can mention here is ____ tracts and books have been given too. Visited ____, ____ on tract evangelism, have made hospital outreach and street, market reach out. Mr ____ and Pr. ____ of Baptist church were given Great Controversy and others that I can not remember. All in all I can say praise God for having me minister to His people.
Thanks a lot for the support, tract and book ministry. It has been (blessed of) God (and) may be blessed forever. May the blessing of Obededom come upon our houses - 2 Samuel 6:11-12:
“And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household. And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.”
Thanks once again for earnest prayers, guidance, mentorship and support.

FROM ZAMBIA, CENTRAL AFRICA
![]() (Combination of 2 letters) Dear Elder Robert,
![]() First and foremost, I apologize for the delay in sending this reports. The Lord will always remain faithful, He has been so good and caring for my life and that of my family members.
In the two past months of June and July, the great loving Lord gave me a good time to move around in our home Churches and also in two SDA churches to conduct Bible studies. In these SDA churches, I was first given one chance to present a Bible study. After this lesson the church leaders announced to the members that this was one of lessons they missed, hence they requested me to visit them again. Praise God! In the second study the Spirit lead me to explain deeper on why SDA church’s top leaders are not preaching the Three Angels message - especially on Revelation 18. They praised the Lord, and told me openly that you are not from SDA leadership but from separated brethren because the message was so pointing to the truth which the SDA churches have left, and said they need more quotations and proof pointing on separation. The leaders have agreed to invite 3 members of our home church leaders to go and present a one week camping lessons. This is in a different district about 345km distance from where I stay.
During these same months, the Lord opened another opportunity to visit the brethren in Namibia, one of our neighboring countries in southern Africa. In this trip brother ____, ____ and I had an opportunity to visit the brethren in Namibia for a some good days Bible study. The Lord has been so good to His work which needs people who are really dedicated, severing themselves and who are ready to spread the word for salvation of others too....
In June 2024, the Lord blessed me with good health and some little support to which created an opportunity to visit many of our home churches. In most of these churches we visited, I had a chance to conduct Bible studies with lessons that based on standing on the first pillars of our faith and on how we should get prepared to stand on the truth as it has been discovered that there is a lot of false teaching coming up like waves of deceptions. Jesus said it (Matthew 24:4,5,11 and 24). Surely it has come to try many, the Lord warned that if possible even the very elect will be deceived.
There's a group of some brethren who came in contact with some souls who call themselves as working under the "Apostolic Foundation". These brought wrong teachings on the following topics: 1. Lord's Supper: 2. Baptism: 3. 7 Pillars of our Faith: 4. Sabbath School: 5. Church Registration: and others which I will send you an attachment of some contradictory beliefs. Nevertheless, the Lord is faithful that His true faith is being taken by those who are standing on the true foundation. After discovering that some of those whom we have been working with...are parting (united) together with this group from the county called Rwanda, the leadership which remained in the home church constitution wrote a letter to call all the older leaders who sided with this group to meet for a final views. After this sitting we were given a blind eye and a deaf ear (by this group) and today as I write few leaders have continued with that group. Praise God many old members have noticed these errors and are coming back to the old home churches separation truth.
Elder Bob Sessler, I would want to appreciate for those quotes from the Bible and SOP books you sent to me. They are helping many to understand our ground. In the last month May, we have been reorganizing and we need a lot of support from you brethren so that we can manage to buy enough fuel and reprint more separation booklets, buy Bibles in our local languages and SOP books to distribute to our most new members. This is a wake up call to all of us world wide. We have no time to waste, even money to misspend when many souls are willing to take up the truth, but they lack Bibles, SOP books and separation booklets and tracks.
We are going to hold a campmeeting in August 2024, we also need to buy a big PA system and a generator. These all needed materials both for campmeeting and distribution is costing almost $950.00. Any contribution towards this will be highly appreciated. Please please kindly help us. As a family we are selling one of the property so that it can help in this program and family needs....
Pray for my family. We have not support for our general needs especially after going through two funerals of losing a sister and a brother in a family within three weeks. Moreover I am down by a bad cough, help us with usual support.
Your brethren in faith. B.W., Zambia.
FROM ZIMBABWE, SOUTHERN AFRICA
![]() Dear Elder Bob,
My apology for delaying to send this report as I was stuck at the property where construction is now moving forward since my return from DR Congo.
First I must say, I have now made up my mind to have the church get registered in order to operate legally. This is because I have really impressed on how our brethren in other countries are carrying out their operations. They are well organized and disciplined.
I got invited by elder ____ of Zambia to attend this Bible Conference. What surprised me in Zambia is that I expected to meet familiar brothers likes brother ____ and elder ____, but unfortunately I met other brethren whom I did not know. I made part of the first team of six to leave for ____ from Zambia leaving behind elder ____ who was to follow with the second team of 4 the following Sunday.
I had difficulty in communication since brethren in DRC don't understand English, but they speak Swahili and French. However the Lord helped me. There were sporadic elements of discontent and heated arguments among the brethren, but generally I commend the meeting as very fruitful. It was arranged that it shall be held again next year in ____ Zambia. There are several seperated groups in DRC who are now uniting together on the common beliefs of present truth. Although some were established by ___ of the ____ and others by ____, the Lord is leading these groups in all the light that they have.
I shall post attachments on the conference itself and the financial report on property development.
Kind regards, B.N., Zimbabwe.
