SDA  CATHOLIC  CHURCH!,  part  4 (final)

In our last Newsletter we learned that since every Catholic owes their spiritual allegiance to the Vatican and the Pope and not to Christ, and the SDA church has been formed into "another universal and truly catholic organization," then every member of the SDA church owes their spiritual allegiance to the General Conference and not to Christ!

For those who found it hard to believe that the SDA church has been converted into another Catholic organization, we began examining over 40 major similarities between the Roman Catholic Church and organization and the SDA church and organization.

We continued to see uncontrovertable proof, from both Catholic and Adventist sourced documents, that the Adventist church has adopted Roman Catholic beliefs and practices in 17 different areas dealing with Church Organizational Practices and Organizational Beliefs – regarding the Church itself as well as in Doctrine.  This made a total of 36 different areas, and in this Newsletter we’re examining the remaining areas showing that the SDA church images the Catholic church.

Celebrates  the  Eucharist

“The sacrificial character of the Eucharist is manifested in the very words of institution: 'This is my body which is given for you' and 'This cup which is poured out for you is the New Covenant in my blood.' In the Eucharist Christ gives us the very body which he gave up for us on the cross, the very blood which he 'poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.'...
“Through the ministry of priests the spiritual sacrifice  of the  faithful  is completed  in union with the sacrifice of Christ the only Mediator, which in the Eucharist is offered through the priests' hands in the name of the whole Church in an unbloody and sacramental manner until the Lord himself comes....
“In the most blessed sacrament of the Eucharist ‘the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ and, therefore, the whole Christ is truly, really, and substantially contained.’  ‘... it is presence in the fullest sense: that is to say, it is a substantial presence by which Christ, God and man, makes himself wholly and entirely present.’...
“The Eucharistic presence of Christ begins at the moment of the consecration and endures as long as the Eucharistic species subsist [thus fully under the control of and discretion of the priest]. Christ is present whole and entire in each of the species and whole and entire in each of their parts...
“Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease.”
Catechism of the Catholic Church, Section Two, Chapter One, Article 3, Subsection V, #1365, 1369, 1374, 1377, 1380, at https://www.usccb.org/sites/default/files/flipbooks/catechism/345/, accessed 4-28-22.

“...the Eucharist cannot unite us to Christ without at the same time cleansing us from past sins and preserving us from future sins...If, as often as his blood is poured out, it is poured for the forgiveness of sins, I should always receive it, so that it may always forgive my sins. Because I always sin, I should always have a remedy.[St. Ambrose, De Sacr. 4, 6, 28: PL 16, 446; cf. 1 Cor 11:26.]"

Celebrates  Easter  Sunday  services

"Holy Mother Church believes that she should celebrate the saving work of her divine Spouse in a sacred commemoration on certain days throughout the course of the year. Once each week, on the day which she has called the Lord's Day [Sunday], she keeps the memory of the Lord's resurrection. She also celebrates it once every year, together with his blessed Passion, at Easter, that most solemn of all feasts....
“Therefore Easter is not simply one feast among others, but the ‘Feast of feasts,’ the ‘Solemnity of solemnities,’ just as the Eucharist is the "Sacrament of sacraments" (the Great Sacrament). St. Athanasius calls Easter ‘the Great Sunday’ and the Eastern Churches call Holy Week ‘the Great Week.’”

Sunday  is  referred  to  as  the  Lord’s  Day

"'By a tradition handed down from the apostles which took its origin from the very day of Christ's Resurrection, the Church celebrates the Paschal mystery every seventh day, which day is appropriately called the Lord’s Day or Sunday.'[SC 106.] The day of Christ's Resurrection is both the first day of the week, the memorial of the first day of creation, and the 'eighth day,' on which Christ after his 'rest' on the great sabbath inaugurates the 'day that the Lord has made,' the 'day that knows no evening.'[Byzantine liturgy.] The Lord's Supper is its center, for there the whole community of the faithful encounters the risen Lord who invites them to his banquet:[Cf. Jn 21:12 ; Lk 24:30 .]  The Lord's day, the day of Resurrection, the day of Christians, is our day. It is called the Lord's day because on it the Lord rose victorious to the Father. If pagans call it the 'day of the sun,' we willingly agree, for today the light of the world is raised, today is revealed the sun of justice with healing in his rays.[St. Jerome, Pasch.: CCL 78, 550.]"
Catechism of the Catholic Church, Part Two, Subsection III, #1166, at https://www.usccb.org/sites/default/files/flipbooks/catechism/304/, accessed 4-28-22.

"Sunday is expressly distinguished from the sabbath which it follows chronologically every week; for Christians its ceremonial observance replaces that of the sabbath. In Christ's Passover, Sunday fulfills the spiritual truth of the Jewish sabbath and announces man's eternal rest in God. For worship under the Law prepared for the mystery of Christ, and what was done there prefigured some aspects of Christ:[Cf. 1 Cor 10:11 .]  Those who lived according to the old order of things have come to a new hope, no longer keeping the sabbath, but the Lord's Day, in which our life is blessed by him and by his death.[St. Ignatius of Antioch, Ad Magn. 9, 1: SCh 10, 88.]”

Church  services  held  on  Sunday

“Sunday is the pre-eminent day for the liturgical assembly, when the faithful gather ‘to listen to the word of God and take part in the Eucharist, thus calling to mind the Passion, Resurrection, and glory of the Lord Jesus, and giving thanks to God who “has begotten them again, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” unto a living hope’...”

Upholds  Sunday  Laws

“Thus, religion and moral and physical well-being are one in demanding this periodic rest, and for many centuries now the Church has set aside Sunday as a special day of rest for the faithful, on which they participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the memorial and application of Christ's redemptive work for souls.
“Heavy in heart, We cannot but deplore the growing tendency in certain quarters to disregard this sacred law, if not to reject it outright. This attitude must inevitably impair the bodily and spiritual health of the workers, whose welfare We have so much at heart.
“In the name of God, therefore, and for the sake of the material and spiritual interests of men, We call upon all, public authorities, employers and workers, to observe the precepts of God and His Church and to remember their grave responsibilities before God and society.”
Pope John XXIII, in Mater Et Magistra, Encyclical promulgated on May 15, 1961, # 251-253, at http://www.papalencyclicals.net/John23/j23mater.htm, accessed 4-28-22.

“And in like manner, in the case of the worker, there are many things which the power of the State should protect; and, first of all, the goods of his soul. For however good and desirable mortal life be, yet it is not the ultimate goal for which we are born, but a road only and a means for perfecting, through knowledge of truth and love of good, the life of the soul. The soul bears the express image and likeness of God, and there resides in it that sovereignty through the medium of which man has been bidden to rule all created nature below him and to make all lands and all seas serve his interests....in this connection a man cannot even by his own free choice allow himself to be treated in a way inconsistent with his nature, and suffer his soul to be enslaved; for there is no question here of rights belonging to man, but of duties owed to God, which are to be religiously observed.
“Hence follows necessary cessation from toil and work on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. Let no one, however, understand this in the sense of greater indulgence of idle leisure, and much less in the sense of that kind of cessation from work, such as many desire, which encourages vice and promotes wasteful spending of money, but solely in the sense of a repose from labor made sacred by religion. Rest combined with religion calls man away from toil and the business of daily life to admonish him to ponder on heavenly goods and to pay his just and due homage to the Eternal Deity.  This is especially the nature, and this the cause, of the rest to be taken on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, and God has sanctioned the same in the Old Testament by a special law: ‘Remember thou keep holy the Sabbath Day,’ and He Himself taught it by His own action; namely the mystical rest taken immediately after He had created man: ‘He hath rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.’...
“Let the worker be exhorted to the worship of God and the pursuit of piety, especially to religious observance of Sundays and Holy Days. Let him learn to reverence and love the Church, the common Mother of all, and likewise to observe her precepts and to frequent her Sacraments, which are the divine means for purifying the soul from the status of sin and for attaining sanctity.”
Pope Leo XIII, Rerum Novarum (On the Condition of the Working Classes), Encyclical promulgated on May 15, 1891, #57-58 & 77, at https://www.newadvent.org/library/docs_le13rn.htm, accessed 4-28-22.

"[It is error to believe that] The Church ought to be separated from the State, and the State from the Church."
Pope Pius IX, The Syllabus (of Errors), Issued in 1864, Section VI, Errors About Civil Society, Considered Both in Itself and in its Relation to the Church, #55, at https://www.papalencyclicals.net/pius09/p9syll.htm, accessed 4-28-22.

“For several centuries, Christians observed Sunday simply as a day of worship, without being able to give it the specific meaning of Sabbath rest. Only in the fourth century did the civil law of the Roman Empire recognize the weekly recurrence, determining that on "the day of the sun" the judges, the people of the cities and the various trade corporations would not work.  Christians rejoiced to see thus removed the obstacles which until then had sometimes made observance of the Lord's Day heroic. They could now devote themselves to prayer in common without hindrance.
“It would therefore be wrong to see in this legislation of the rhythm of the week a mere historical circumstance with no special significance for the Church and which she could simply set aside. Even after the fall of the Empire, the Councils did not cease to insist upon the arrangements regarding Sunday rest. In countries where Christians are in the minority and where the festive days of the calendar do not coincide with Sunday, it is still Sunday which remains the Lord's Day, the day on which the faithful come together for the Eucharistic assembly. But this involves real sacrifices. For Christians it is not normal that Sunday, the day of joyful celebration, should not also be a day of rest, and it is difficult for them to keep Sunday holy if they do not have enough free time.
“By contrast, the link between the Lord's Day and the day of rest in civil society has a meaning and  importance which go beyond the distinctly Christian point of view. The alternation between work and rest, built into human nature, is willed by God himself, as appears in the creation story in the
Book of Genesis (cf. 2:2-3; Ex 20:8-11): rest is something ‘sacred’, because it is man's way of withdrawing from the sometimes excessively demanding cycle of earthly tasks in order to renew his awareness that everything is the work of God. There is a risk that the prodigious power over creation which God gives to man can lead him to forget that God is the Creator upon whom everything depends. It is all the more urgent to recognize this dependence in our own time, when science and technology have so incredibly increased the power which man exercises through his work.
“Finally, it should not be forgotten that even in our own day work is very oppressive for many people, either because of miserable working conditions and long hours – especially in the poorer regions of the world -- or because of the persistence in economically more developed societies of too many cases of injustice and exploitation of man by man. When, through the centuries, she has made laws concerning Sunday rest, the Church has had in mind above all the work of servants and workers, certainly not because this work was any less worthy when compared to the spiritual requirements of Sunday observance, but rather because it needed greater regulation to lighten its burden and thus enable everyone to keep the Lord's Day holy. In this matter, my predecessor Pope Leo XIII in his Encyclical Rerum Novarum spoke of Sunday rest as a worker's right which the State must guarantee.
“In our own historical context there remains the obligation to ensure that everyone can enjoy the freedom, rest and relaxation which human dignity requires, together with the associated religious, family, cultural and interpersonal needs which are difficult to meet if there is no guarantee of at least one day of the week on which people can both rest and celebrate. Naturally, this right of workers to rest presupposes their right to work and, as we reflect on the question of the Christian understanding of Sunday, we cannot but recall with a deep sense of solidarity the hardship of countless men and women who, because of the lack of jobs, are forced to remain inactive on workdays as well.
“...Therefore, also in the particular circumstances of our own time, Christians will naturally strive to ensure that civil legislation respects their duty to keep Sunday holy. In any case, they are obliged in conscience to arrange their Sunday rest in a way which allows them to take part in the Eucharist, refraining from work and activities which are incompatible with the sanctification of the Lord's Day, with its characteristic joy and necessary rest for spirit and body.”
Pope John Paul II, in Dies Domini (To the Bishops, Clergy and Faithful of the Catholic Church on Keeping the Lord’s Day Holy), Apostolic Letter promulgated on May 31, 1998, Chapter IV, #64-67, at

Sunday  is  referred  to  as  the  Lord’s  Day

Samuel Bacchiocchi, Professor of Church History and Theology at Andrews Seventh-day Adventist University, is a well-known SDA lecturer who has presented his “Lord’s Day Seminars” to many SDA churches.  He wrote a book entitled “From Sabbath To Sunday”, wherein the "Lord's day" is referred to as being Sunday and not Saturday over 51 times in just the first 160 pages of this 369 page book!
In reference to Revelation 1:10 – "I [John] was in the Spirit on the Lord's day" – Bacchiocchi argues that the "Lord's day" is not the seventh day Sabbath, but it either refers to “a (weekly) Sunday” , or an “Easter-Sunday”, or it refers to the time of “Christ's (second) coming” (p 111-113).  He calls the keeping of the moral Sabbath of the 4th commandment a "Jewish tradition" (p 13), a "Jewish religious institution" (p 163), and states that "the eighth day (or Sunday – the day after the Sabbath) far surpassed the seventh day" (p 283). He also states that Paul was warning against those who would promote Seventh-day Sabbath keeping "as indispensable aids to Christian perfection" (p 356).  And then he sums up his whole book in the very last sentence by stating:
"...Paul rejected the Sabbath as a means of salvation but accepted it as a shadow pointing to the substance which belongs to Christ."
Dr. Samuel Bacchiocchi, in From Sabbath To Sunday, p 368-369, published by the Pontifical Gregorian University Press, Rome in 1977, IMPRIMATUR by R.P. Herve Carrier, S.I., University Rector.

But does the Seventh-day Adventist Church agree with Bacchiocchi and the Catholic Church – that the Lord’s day is not the seventh day Sabbath, but can be Sunday?
"...the phrase ‘the Lord's day’ in Revelation 1:10....More attention should be given to the possibility that the phrase refers to an annual resurrection (Sunday) celebration.",
The Sabbath in Scripture and History, p 127, published by the Seventh-day Adventist Review and Herald Publishing Association, 1982.

Church  services  held  on  Sunday

"ON SUNDAY, MAY 19, our oldest church in New Zealand, Ponsonby, has been chosen as the venue for a nationwide televised church service--one of only six such services in NZ in 1985. This will be the occasion of Pastor Neal Wilson's visit, and plans for the music and youth scripture reading are under way--not to mention working bees on the church!"
Joy Totenhofer, Assistant Editor of the Australasian Record, in Australasian Record, April 13, 1985, p 16.

“Adventist Sunday church...Deeply committed members of the 600-member Mountain View church (in Las Vegas, Nevada) launched their (‘52-week’ ‘Sunday morning worship service’) experiment on Easter weekend...Each Sunday (throughout an entire year) (SDA pastor Tim) Dunfield presents a clearly Adventist message...They hope that this model can be replicated (by SDA churches) in other cities across this country.”
Pacific Union Recorder, February, 2000, p 34-35.

Upholds  Sunday  Laws

“Elder (W. John) Arthur, Secretary of the British Union Conference (of Seventh-day Adventists), informed the student body (at Newbold SDA College in England) that he had some ‘good news’.  He went on to say that he had recently sent two letters, one to the Prime Minister (Margaret Thatcher,  dated March 27, 1986)  and the other to the Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance (Clive R. Calver, dated February 27, 1986), in which he had given Adventist support to those in opposition to the proposed repeal of the British Sunday trading laws....Elder Arthur was asked whether any of the (SDA) field leaders he had consulted had been opposed to sending the letters.  His answer was no, there had been no opposition, and all reaction received was positive.”
Nicholas P. Miller, Editor of the Prism (Student Newspaper of Newbold College), in Prism, May, 1986, p 6 & 12.

“Dear Mr Calver....I am writing primarily with reference to the proposed legislation concerning Sunday Trading....we feel it is better for Christians in this day and age at least to reserve one day a week for worship rather than no day at all.  For this reason we would support your campaign against a general secularization of the ‘British Sunday’.”
W. John Arthur, Vice-President of the British Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, to Mr Clive R. Calver, General Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance in London, February 27, 1986.

“Dear Mrs Thatcher....Our feeling as a church is that it would be better for one day each week to be retained as a day of rest and worship rather than no day at all.  We would therefore respectfully request you and your colleagues in government to reconsider the proposals (to repeal the Sunday Trading laws already in existence and being enforced) contained in the Sunday Trading Bill.”
W. John Arthur, Vice-President of the British Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, to Mrs Margaret Thatcher, Prime Minister of England, March 27, 1986.

MEMBERSHIP  DILEMMA

After examining these major similarities between the Roman Catholic Church and the Seventh-day Adventist Church, what is the only possible conclusion any honest-hearted and unprejudiced follower of Christ can come to?  We will let the Seventh-day Adventist Church leadership answer this pertinent question:
"...there is another universal and truly catholic organization, the Seventh-day Adventist Church." Neal C. Wilson, General Conference President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Adventist Review, March 5, 1981, p 3.

So what has the Seventh-day Adventist Church learned from the Roman Catholic Church?  Exactly how to image the Beast!

Throughout these 4 parts we have seen that the SDA leadership have succeeded in forming the organizational structure of the SDA church into another Roman Catholic hierarchy.  They have made the General Conference President into another pope – the "first minister" "spiritual leader" "shepherd, guardian, guide and captain" of all SDA church members.  And they have succeeded in exchanging the truths of God’s word for the falsehoods of Romanism!  The SDA Church leadership have indeed entered into and have firmly established a “new organization", and the SDA people are being held captive within “another universal and truly catholic organization” with just the name “Seventh-day Adventist” covering it!  And what does God solemnly declare to all His people in regards to the beast or its image?
"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name....
"And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication...And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities." Revelation 14:9-11, 18:1-5.

May God help us all to make Him our Supreme Pastor, First Minister, Leader, Shepherd, Guardian, Guide and Captain in our lives.  May God help us to escape from all churches which image Roman Catholicism and instead join Christ and thereby become part of His true church. May God help us all to seek His grace and strength to unerringly follow His word and will, regardless of our own preferences or ideas.  And what is God’s will?
"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." 2 Timothy 3:5.

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." Ephesians 5:11.

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial?...Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.

"Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord." Isaiah 52:11.

“My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds (church leaders) have caused them to go astray...they have forgotten their resting place (in God alone)....Remove out of the midst of Babylon...Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity....My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the Lord.” Jeremiah 50:6, 8, 51:6, 45.

“In amazement they hear the testimony that Babylon is the church, fallen because of her errors and sins, because of her rejection of the truth sent to her from Heaven." Ellen G. White, in Spirit of Prophecy, vol 4, p 424 or Great Controversy, p 606-607.

TO OUR READERS AND SUPPORTERS:

"Let There Be Light" Ministries is not using your prayers and donations to build itself into a kingdom, but is concerned with getting the Present Truth into the hands of the common people quickly, effectively, and wisely. Instead of working towards acquiring expensive video and T.V. production equipment, satellite or shortwave facilities, we would rather use the Lord's money in publishing and distributing materials which give the full present truth gospel, as well as supporting many full-time foreign ministers and workers around the world who have proven themselves to be reliable and stable. With their monthly support and present truth materials supplied them, these ministers and workers then have the ability to more effectively spread the spoken and printed truth, establish the people in it, and carry this precious truth into the very homes of those who sit in darkness. This is how the Loud Cry of the Third Angel will be spread, and is now being spread! If the Lord impresses you to help in these endeavors, your donations will be greatly appreciated--not just by this Ministry, but by many others as well! MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU!

MINISTRY NEEDS

"Let There Be Light" Ministries is committed to the spreading of the full present truth gospel message worldwide, and has been doing so since 1986.  This Ministry has operating expenses covering the areas of: printing, publishing, and writing of present truth books, booklets, tracts, and other literature; DVD, video and audio taping, production, and distribution; supporting several ministers and workers in foreign Countries; mail order – both domestic and foreign; traveling to hold meetings – both locally, nationally, and internationally; answering correspondence and questions regarding the message of truth; offering National and International Bible studies; sending free present truth literature to contacts in many poor Countries; etc.
Your gracious prayers and support is greatly appreciated and needed.  Without the Lord's guidance, blessings, and your support, this Ministry could not continue to reach out worldwide with the precious message of Revelation 14:6-12 & 18:1-5.

May our God and Saviour continue to lead and guide all those who have helped us reach souls who sit in darkness with the precious light of gospel truth.  May our supporters remember that they share in each and every soul who has been reached by this Ministry and converted to the Lord and His present truth!

GENERAL FOREIGN MISSION WORK NEEDS

We are currently supporting several workers in many different Countries on a monthly basis.  We check into the economy of each area and supply a base support which is adequate depending on their situation, but not extravagant.  This base support is to ensure that the monthly needs of each worker and family is met for that month so that the worker may devote full time to the ministry work.  In addition to this, we are sending extra materials for evangelism, and money for printing, publishing, holding meetings, traveling, and other necessary areas in spreading the Present Truth in their Country.  And as the work extends, especially will the expenses for evangelism expand.  Whatever you can send to help in this necessary and vital area is greatly appreciated.
The work of spreading God's present truth is not to be limited, but must extend world-wide to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people before our Saviour can come (Matthew 24:14).  What better way of spreading the Present Truth Gospel than by having workers who speak the native language, who reside in that particular Country, who can live and preach the truth, visit the interests in their homes, and spread the printed truth translated into their native language!
"Our publications should be printed in other languages, that foreign nations may be reached.  Much can be done through the medium of the press, but still more can be accomplished if the influence of the living preacher goes with our publications....The Lord has moved upon men of other tongues and has brought them under the influence of the truth, that they might be qualified to labor in His cause." Testimonies, vol 3, p 204-205.

Please financially help us to continue supporting our current ministers and workers on a consistent basis, so that the spreading of the truth will not be interrupted but can quickly lighten this dark world with the glory of God.
"Every opportunity should be improved to extend the truth to other nations.  This will be attended with considerable expense, but expense should in no case hinder the performance of this work.  Means are of value only as they are used to advance the interest of the kingdom of God.  The Lord has lent men means for this very purpose, to use in sending the truth to their fellow men."  Testimonies, vol 3, p 208.

LETTERS to "LET THERE BE LIGHT" Ministries

Dear my beloved brethren in Christ, Warm Christian greetings to you in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I want to let you know that many Roman Catholics have joined our Home Churches. Please don't forget us in your prayers. I will be very grateful if I hear from you soon....
Isaiah 8:20.  Have a great blessed Sabbath. E.C., Zambia.

Thank you for efforts in (with) the Remnant.  We are getting busy to start visiting many soon.
B.A., Panama.

Happy Sabbath,...
We all want unity and we all wish for others to work with, but how can we join together with those who hold views which are so far from the truth....I have given up trying to work with others as they seem to always go off into some sort of fanaticism. Most I once worshipped with have either gone into feast days or the Holy Spirit error. (Editor’s Note: I understand your dilemma, and it is true that we can only unite with those who have accepted the full present truth in Jesus and are walking in it - 1 John 1:7.)  I am glad that you have held firm through the years. We all make mistakes in judgment at times, mostly in our desire to please others and work with them....
Anyway hope all is going well for you.
God bless. P.R., Canada.

Dear Elder and Brother Sessler, greetings with John 13: 34, 35. I trust that this email finds you and the family well. I wish, at the outset, to thank you for the great work that you do, of taking pains to share with us the Quarterly newsletters. We look forward to receiving more of this bread of life.
I am ____, one of the elders in the Namibian Home Church of the separated brethren. We haven't met yet in person, but I know you through your evangelistic pursuits for many years now. We are doing well this side of the world, and we are trying our best to reach out to many souls with the last message of mercy, particularly in these trying times in which every prophecy is fulfilling before our eyes, which give us hope to hold onto the truth, for our redemption draweth nigh.
Of late, besides sharing the word of God, I have embarked upon publishing work. I believe that the combination of Bible study and the literature materials (the silent preachers), can advance the work of God in many lines....
Waiting to hearing from you soon, and Happy Sabbath in advance.
May the Lord bless.  B.F., Namibia.

Dearest elder Robert.
Greetings in Christ’s mighty matchless name. It is my sincere hope that you are doing fine under the wings of our Almighty and everlasting Father with your all your family.
How are your family doing? Are they okay? How are you doing?...you are really in my heart. I am so much concerned of your well being, your Church and your family. In this walk of faith, know as well as you know that we do have challenges which are prone to bring change in our lives. As psalmist David says in Psalms 34:19-21 many are the affliction of a righteous man but the Lord delivers him from them all. He guards all his bones not one of them is broken. Despite the fact that we face stiff challenges, they are not meant to kill or destroy us, they are meant to usher us into a move intimate relationship with God Almighty....
Well, I would love to hear from you. I pray God will see you through that we may enjoy your blessings. I do look forward to hearing from you really soon at a time that suits your convenience, we do love you. Pray for you and wish you a nice moment. May the hand of my good God prosper thee in every area of thy life....
Thanks and may I hear from you soon.
B.C., Kenya.

CORRESPONDENCE FROM FOREIGN WORKERS

FROM KENYA, EAST AFRICA

Dear brother Elder Bob,
     1John. 3:1.
Grateful to read your New Year's greetings. I hadn't been online somehow.
We praise God for all His mercies in the past year, and look forward to greater and more abundance of grace as challenges thicken.
We had quite a successful evangelistic effort in my area ending 25th of December. This year, God willing, we'll begin with a gospel campaign in ____ beginning 6th of February. Keep us up in prayers.
The last two months of the year saw my mother sick, first diagnosed with cardiomegaly having persistent coughing at night, having no sleep sometimes. An x-ray done indicated a mass in one of the atriums in her heart, and suggested surgery. Eventually on 5th we transferred her to Nairobi for a cardiological review for a possible heart surgery. On arrival a Covid test was taken only to be declare her positive. She was immediately put on therapeutics for close to one week, and discharged. Praise God she is doing very well.
She's a staunch Catholic, but as we have been sharing the word of God with her during her stay in hospital, she demanded for daily devotions after discharge which we are still doing. We are doing this on phone every morning as we don't live together. Kindly, remember her in prayers. So far, she has no problem with coughing any more and she enjoys her sleep. Moreover, the cardiologist said her heart condition is not any serious to require surgery as of now. Praise God.
Glory be to God for ever.
B.I., Kenya.

FROM PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Dearest elder Sessler,
     1 John 3:1.
I pray all is well in Lord Jesus Christ. Keep looking up my good friend.
Apology for been delay to share our Mission Field Work reports. During the tribunal clash between my entire communities with other tribes, I was forced to shift all my office equipment out from the rental office back home. The worse thing is that, there is no electricity there to continue to write and doing my studies. I started run the computer on the gasoline generator that cost more money on the fuel & oil and sometimes I quit for a week or sometimes I work for hour of two daily for study purpose only when fuel budget available.

STREET TO STREET PREACHING & DISTRIBUTION JUNE 2021
Street to street outreach program was organised by our Student Association made up of Primary, Secondary, College and University students. This program was very amazing and spiritual blessed. Sabbath Truth & Great Controversy leaflets plus 8 Laws of Health papers were freely distributed on the streets after the preaching.  Choir groups sharing wonder words in song. Street venders and roamers were strongly warning them of the coming doom and the soon return of Jesus Christ the King. Also they are warned of the Corona Virus Pandemic diseases.  Praise God for those five days street evangelism end up with some good results. Gospel seeds were sown freely into the minds of many hungry souls. Your prayers are needed for the truths given in Words, Songs and Papers.

TESTIMONY FOR BROTHER ____ AND FAMILY
This Loud Cry camp meeting venue was set up on the land of a family who recently converted from the ____ city street to street preaching program hosted by our Student Association on the school term holiday week.
Originally ____ and the family was born and grow up from the Lutheran background, and around 90s they join the Assembly of God than after 8 years, Sabbath Truth arrest them so they stay with the SDA conference church another three years until...(our) Student’s street mission do a final arrest in the present truth. And during his three months worship at home while his wife and children continue fellowship with the SDA conference church. He discovered that are few...churches were already established on the other side of the mountainous village.
One day he decides to visit them in person so he crosses over the rivers and mountains until at sunset he arrived in the village. At the entrance of the village, he met a young couple return back from the garden at sunset. As a stranger, ____ kindly asks the couples to show him the...church elder’s home. With a great smile on his face, a young man answered Brother ____ and said, “Right now you are facing and talking to the...church elder, you are most and warmly welcome to my home”.
…….to be continue in a next Story……

____ YEAR ENDING LOUD CRY CAMP DECEMBER 2021
____ District is situated on the high mountainous province of ____ and is very far away from the city. About 700 people have attended the camp from all over the region even though the road leads to the camp-site was very tough and risky. With a grace of God the faithful campers went and return safely after two week camp.
Twenty seven (27) souls went into the water of baptism and 58 new class readies join the rank for next baptism. Our Pastors, Evangelists and Missionaries were cooperatively moving together as one brother, but scattered abroad into many fields searching for the lost souls. Their only aim is to bring back the straying soul to the fold of God.

MISSIONARY TRAINING 2022
As usual, January month is always schedule for the...workers training and 143 field workers and church leaders attend this training at my Home Church. Training was really blessed as lecturers’ emphasis more about UNITY and SOUND DOCTRINE. Health message were also given theory and practical application.
Most of the field Workers were requesting for the financial assistance from our fellow brethren abroad for purchasing the Study Bibles and other SOP books as number of workers are increasing.  All they need is a weapon to carry with them into the spiritual fields and it is a written Word of God.

APPEAL
This is a genuine request from the silent majority of the faithful and Self-Sacrificed Missionaries. Request and appeal goes to the “Let There Be Light Ministries,” other Ministries and faithful individuals.

POWER FOR SERVICE
“What the church needs in these days of peril is an army of workers who, like Paul, have educated themselves for usefulness, who have a deep experience in the things of God, and who are filled with earnestness and zeal. Sanctified, self-sacrificing men are needed, --men who will not shun trial and responsibility; men who are brave and true; men in whose hearts Christ is formed "the hope of glory," and who, with lips touched with holy fire, will "preach the word." For want of such workers the cause of God languishes, and fatal errors, like a deadly poison, taint the morals and blight the hopes of a large part of the human race.” The Acts of the Apostles, page 507.
B.K., PNG.

FROM THE PHILIPPINES

(Combination of 2 letters) Dear brother Bob,
     3 John 2.
Hello brother Bob! Happy new year to you and to your family! Thank God that we survived the year 2021. He is so good and gracious for protecting and providing us our needs and for keeping us strong in faith amidst of many trials that came along our way. He gave us the strength and power to overcome it and to continue our journey serving Him. May God continue to help and guide us all as we face the year 2022. Although we don’t know what this year will bring to us, but we hope and trust in Him that He will always be with us as we continue our work for Him. We need now to be more aggressive in our evangelism as He allow us more time to work. The time will come that it will (be) harder for us to do this work and while we can do it, we must do aggressively.
“The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending....
“It is our duty to do all in our power to avert the threatened danger....A vast responsibility is devolving upon men and women of prayer throughout the land to petition that God may sweep back this cloud of evil, and give a few more years of grace to work for the Master.” The Review and Herald Extra, December 11, 1888.
Brother Bob, for this past two months, we had been busy with our work of doing Bible studies in house and even in Zoom meeting, tracts giving in different ____ and towns, helping and taking care of the sick, giving lectures and trainings on health, doing children’s evangelism, establishing new church and visiting and strengthening our brethren in different churches.
As of now, there are several individuals that we are giving Bible studies in ____ and they are now attending every Sabbath. A lot of children also are attending every Sabbath. With some of our brethren, we went to different ____ and town for tracts giving.
Also brother Bob, one group that separate from Grover Sinco's group, communicate with me. They separate from Grover because he is now teaching that there is really no Sanctuary in heaven, and is preaching a set time for Jesus' coming and a lot more strange doctrine. We do Zoom meeting with their group, comparing our studies and stand. We had a long discussion about health reform because they had been entangled for a long time with Grover's teaching and they turned back in meat eating. For several meetings of studying together, they were convinced that we really need to follow health reform principle on diet and need to discard those that are harmful especially flesh diet – more specifically to those who stands as teachers of the people. And because of this, some of their recognized brethren and worker who didn't accept health message again separate from them. They justified as Grover's did their practiced of meat eating. But still we are hopeful that God will still work for them and enlighten them.
Last Dec 19, we did one week actual training for medical missionary work for several young people who really wants to help us in this line of work. Since a lot of sick people are coming to us to seek our help through natural remedies, we decided to train these young people how to handle cases through natural way. We really need a helping hand in this work. I can’t do the work altogether by myself. It is very tiring to do multitasking, although I’m happy doing it for the Lord. This year we had a plan of work with these young people who devoted and consecrate themselves to help the work. We ask your help and prayer also for this young people so that they will be encourage to continue in God's work.
I had a lot of things to say about our work here, but I can’t remember now some of what we did for God because of so many things that run in my mind. Till next time again. Please continue to pray for us especially this coming year that God will continue find us faithfully doing our work and may He give us the power that we need so that all our work may be fruitful for His glory. Included also are my request for all the brethren here that they may be stronger in faith as trials are thickening around us....
Anyway bro Bob, the work of the Lord here is doing great and in progress. We continue in doing house to house work, giving Bible study and health lecture to the people, distributing tracts, helping the sick and the needy and unfortunate, assisting them or even serving them to the best we can, reaching out those former brethren from the group of Grover and sharing with them, and visiting local home churches here and giving them encouragement, all this things we did for the Lord for the past two months. And the Lord was with us, working with us and blessed our efforts. All the praises and glory is to the Lord!
Brother Bob, last Feb 19, we held our fellowship in our country site in ____, where a lot of brethren attended from different local home churches here. Also, a group from ____, attended too. They are from Grover's group before and through several sharing and studying together with them through Zoom, they come back to the Lord and to our group again and unite with us in our belief. I will attach some of the pictures we have during the fellowship. All the brethren were strengthened and encouraged during this fellowship. We will be having another fellowship on April 30 and we are planning to have our camp meeting as soon as possible so that we may invite and work those around us. We will just prepare the facilities, and build a bigger meeting hall even if it made up of lite materials and also build several bathrooms and comfort rooms. Please help us pray for this that it maybe accomplished soon according in the providence of God.
This coming March, we will go to ____ to labor and work for others also who are on the side of Grover, but are open to hear us. Please include this also in your prayers.
Till here for now brother Bob. May God continue to guide and bless us as we are doing His work and preparing for His soon coming.
 In Christ, s.b., Philippines.

FROM UGANDA, EAST AFRICA

Dear Elder Sessler.
     Christian greetings.
It has been a little trying moments since we left the Camp meeting December last year 2021. It looks like we were invaded with Omicron variant, it has given us health difficults, keeps resurgeing, though it has not been fatal like the previous types. We thank God we had a wonderful camp meeting. We had taken time without meeting with brothers and sisters, but on this occasion were able to worship together, share testimonies, encourage our fellow pilgrims. Our country has had the longest lock down in the world, hence negative effects from measures taken by our leaders.
The burden (of) the work, or rather upon us, was how to help the next generation; not like Israel of old where the young men were forgotten - Ezekiel 13:5: “Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.” There is a Hebrew maxim: "Jerusalem was destroyed because the education of her children was forgotten.” Shall this grand work live in the next generation? (Or will we repeat past failures?)....
At closing moments the Camp meeting nine souls were baptized....
The work of tracts is still going on. We shall need a new drum for the Risograph. Thanks a lot for the support and prayers. God bless you (and) the entire brotherhood.
Yours in Christ. B.K., Uganda.

FROM ZIMBABWE, SOUTHERN AFRICA

(Combination of 2 letters) Dear elder Bob.
This is the beginning of the new year and I greatly thank the Lord for His immense love in keeping us through the year 2021. It was a very difficult year which saw the growing church in the ____ province (____) surviving the attacks of the enemy through the SDA church. After the church members had received SDA church visitors...(who were actually the) elders and deacons (of the church whose mission were to snatch the (our) church members to the side of the SDA), the church (resisted their efforts and held firm and) has steadily continued to grow in unity.
Until the 11th of December, when we held an all night prayer meeting, the Lord has been tending His flock gently. The all night prayer session marked the close of my ____ province mission as I made my way back home to my family to the ____ province. I praise God that my family also came to support the mission in ____ in December.
I was not alone in the closing period of my mission in the ____ province, but my family came to support me all the way, a distance close to 300km. I was still cherishing the hope of ever attending the camp meeting in Namibia. But that was not to be fruitful due the huge expenses we incurred for the trip back home as a family. I remember promising you my intention to attend the Namibia annual camp meeting which was scheduled for 22nd to 26th of December 2021. I finally failed due to lack of enough resources. (Editor’s Note: it’s ok dear brother, it was not God’s will at that time.)
I am pleased to report once again that somewhere in October 2021, I got some materials from a brother in Zambia which I carried with me to share with the church in the ____ province which proved to be really useful to the church.
However this year I am planning to begin urban evangelism and therefore I believe I must be equipped with a lot of materials for distribution. If the Lord allows the city of ____ should be the first for this endeavor. I am therefore kindly calling upon you for your support with regards to reading materials....
Thank you elder for the New Year’s greetings. I am really encouraged receiving this report and as you also have alluded to; the Lord indeed continued to bless His work in the various ministries last year despite being attacked by the enemy and the various world events which occurred causing much uncertainty and chaos. However we are still getting into this New Year with fullness of hope that He will still protect us and bless His work as it is moving towards completion.
I am also encouraged noting that Let There Be Light Ministries Home church weekly services are still going on and also on Sabbaths. I hope to join these services most of the time this year as I am embarking on a new field of evangelism, this time in an urban setup. I have barely worked in this type of field before, but I feel I need much of your support, especially if I can get some reading materials.
I recommit myself into working for the Lord with more vigor this year seeing various prophecies being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. I am greatly blessed by your encouragement and has to a great measure been addressed as if to me personally. You still have a lot to do my brother towards me in remembering, praying and supporting me in this great work so much so that by the end of the Christian journey we might get eternally saved into the kingdom of God.
     Keep the faith my brother.
Kind regards. 1 John 2:15-17. B.N., Zimbabwe.
