SDA  CATHOLIC  CHURCH!,  part  3

In our last Newsletter we learned that since every Catholic owes their spiritual allegiance to the Vatican and the Pope and not to Christ, and the SDA church has been formed into "another universal and truly catholic organization," then every member of the SDA church owes their spiritual allegiance to the General Conference and not to Christ!

For those who found it hard to believe that the SDA church has been converted into another Catholic organization, we began examining over 40 major similarities between the Roman Catholic Church and organization and the SDA church and organization.

We saw uncontrovertable proof, from both Catholic and Adventist sourced documents, that the Adventist church has adopted Roman Catholic beliefs and practices in 19 different areas dealing with Church Structure, Arrangement, Administration, Election, Authority, and Power.  And in this Newsletter we’re examining more areas showing that the SDA church images the Catholic church.  And if you thought the first 19 different areas was shocking, wait until you see what the following areas reveal!

Church  leaders  obstruct  truth  from  being  examined  by  laity

“In order for you to more easily obtain that salutary and desired peace, We impose, with this letter, perpetual and absolute silence on past questions and controversies, and We  totally forbid every disapproval and any speech which can disturb the peace among the...faithful.  We alsoexpressly and severely prohibit the heretics or schismatics from consuming those in grace and communion with this Apostolic See. If some people who act incorrectly or arouse suspicions suddenly appear -- and We trust that would never happen -- it will be provided for with due cause. The matter will first of all be clarified by this Apostolic See with the appropriate canonical documents; therefore, after Our declaration and warnings, every disturber regardless of class and order will be guilty of serious fault in the future. They will not in any way be able to excuse themselves and avoid due severity.”
Pope Pius IX, in Neminem Vestrum (On the Persecution of Armenians), Encyclical promulgated on February 2, 1854, #16, at https://www.papalencyclicals.net/pius09/p9nemini.htm, accessed 12-27-21.

“How many millions of martyrs have been put to death in the name of Christianity, by that most unchristian and antichristian power, the papacy, will never be known until the dead, small and great, stand before God.”
E.J. Waggoner, in Prophetic Lights, Chapter – The Papacy, p 92.

"For professing faith contrary to the teachings of the Church of Rome, history records the martyrdom of more then one hundred million people.”
Brief Bible Readings, p. 16.

“The question has been raised whether it be lawful for the Church, not merely to sentence a delinquent to physical penalties, but itself to inflict these penalties. As to this, it is sufficient to note that the right of the Church to invoke the aid of the civil power to execute her sentences is expressly asserted by Boniface VIII in the Bull ‘Unam Sanctam’”

“Included in such discussions have been related theological concepts such as the nature of Christ, the nature of man, the nature of sin, perfection, and the question as to whether it is possible for a Christian to live a sinless life. In our judgment these complex theological and Biblical issues need not be settled...We are requesting that we refrain from involving ourselves in public presentations of the...theology of righteousness by faith....We should all seek to diminish the flood of cassettes, brochures, books, and miscellaneous documents...Consequently, the General Conference will appoint a representative group...to survey and study difficult theological issues and to share with the church at large...This ended the discussion because the voice of the highest authority had spoken."
General Conference president Neal C. Wilson, in Adventist Review, May 24, 1979, p 4-5.

The  Church  avoids  close  investigation  of  her  practices,  evades  disclosure,  and  reveals  corruption  within

"I was greatly distressed to read the report of president Neal Wilson in the March 24, 1983 Review notifying the church of the decision of the General Conference leadership not to publish the names of those involved with Davenport disclosing their acts of malfeasance while in office...As one who specializes in the prosecution of official corruption cases, I am shocked that our church leaders would so minimize the wrongful conduct of their fellow officers as to shield their conduct from the Adventist public....they are not informed how their public trust has been compromised and betrayed..."
Letter from Glenn E. Coe, Esquire--Chief Trial Attorney for the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney, State of Connecticut, , to editor of the Adventist Review, April 11, 1983.

"...the IRS, SEC, FBI, and Justice Department have all initiated investigations (into the Seventh-day Adventist organizational activities) and some Seventh-day Adventist conference administrators may even face trial for fraud."
Walter Martin, in The Kingdom of the Cults, p 410.

“Finally, the situation of the Seventh Day Adventists must be mentioned. Their leadership, hand-picked by the (Hungarian) state authorities...In their case...the methods of intimidation [against those who refused to obey] were often more blatant than those applied against larger groups...They are always selected in such a way as to make documentation difficult if not impossible. Reminiscent of the intimidation known in the U.S. to those who are familiar with the ways of organized crime...In the case of the Seventh Day Adventists, some of the state ‘appointed’ leaders were so dissolute and morally reprehensible that they eventually had to give up their positions.”

"In Dec 21, 1985 Br. Nikola was physically attacked by the Seventh day Adventists and their preachers in the church in Zagreb (Yugoslavia) and beat him so that he is now in the hospital....preachers Jovica Posavec, Kuburic... Markov...and others struck him pushing him out of the church and threatening to kill him....Just think what sort of a church this is that would do such a thing....the leaders and preachers were angry because Nikola does not acknowledge their doctrine....I am sending you the doctors report...he was attacked in the Adventist church near Prilaz 77 in Zagreb.  Nikola is in the hospital several days now."

"Five Seventh Day Adventists were arrested on the pedestrian ramp leading from the Superdome to the Hyatt Regency Hotel Thursday night while protesting statements  made by Russian delegates at a religious convention....The protesters all were attending the Seventh Day Adventists General Conference session in New Orleans...(and) sought a forum at the convention to express their opposition to the Russian delegate's statement but have been denied by Neal Wilson, of Washington., D.C., president of the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventists."
The Times-Picayune Newspaper, July 5, 1985 p A-25.

"Late in June 1986, Elder Neal C. Wilson, president of the General Conference, again went to Budapest Hungary....Meetings were held...with the Hungarian Union leadership and with the Hungarian Government....
“The Monday following Elder Wilson's departure from Budapest, Oszkar Egervari (leader of the 1400 disfellowshipped SDA’s) was asked to come to the State Office of Religion...and told four things:
“1 – They must stop all gatherings.  No more religious meetings could be held.  2 – They must no longer receive offerings and carry on their religious duties.  3 – No more campmeetings or youth camps could be held.  4 – Certain people would be held responsible if these points were not followed....
“It is clear that the Hungarian Union leadership is determined to stop all separate gatherings by Seventh-day Adventists who remain loyal to the teachings of historic Adventism.  They will even use the arm of the State and threatened imprisonment to carry out their objective....Over one thousand Seventh-day Adventists can no longer worship God together as a result of Elder Wilson's visit to Budapest."
Independent Report of Neal C. Wilson’s trip to Budapest Hungary, Pilgrims' Rest Tract, WM-140, July, 1986.

“Over 1000 Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church believers (were asked to and then) assembled at their headquarters in Nyanchwa in Kisii and called on the authorities to probe two dissident church groups which are involved in heretical teachings, the executive director of the SDA church’s South Kenya Conference, Pastor Nathan Ogeto, said yesterday...
“He said the believers condemned and castigated whoever were the leaders of such a group.
“The SDA believers in Kisii he said wish to express their unswerving and total loyalty to President Moi, the government and the ruling party Kanu.
“He said the assembly paid special tribute to the Kisii DC, the OCPD, District Officers, chiefs and their assistants for their able leadership ‘in containing and salvaging the situation.’”

ORGANIZATIONAL  BELIEFS -- REGARDING  THE  CHURCH

Roman Catholic Church
Seventh-day Adventist Church

The  Church  is  one,  holy,  catholic,  and apostolic

"Urged by faith, we are obliged to believe and to maintain that the Church is one [in unity], holy, catholic, and also apostolic."
Pope Boniface VIII, Unam Sanctam, Bull promulgated on November 18, 1302, at

The  Church  is  a  type  of  Noah’s  ark

“There had been at the time of the deluge only one ark of Noah, prefiguring the one Church...and we read that, outside of this ark, all that subsisted on the earth was destroyed."
Pope Boniface VIII, Unam Sanctam, Bull promulgated on November 18, 1302, at  https://www.papalencyclicals.net/bon08/b8unam.htm, accessed 12-27-21.

“The Church is the place where humanity must rediscover its unity and salvation. The Church is "the world reconciled." She is that bark which "in the full sail of the Lord's cross, by the breath of the Holy Spirit, navigates safely in this world." According to another image dear to the Church Fathers, she is prefigured by Noah's ark, which alone saves from the flood.”
Catechism of the Catholic Church, Section Two, Paragraph 3, Article III, # 845, at

The  gates  of  hell  will  not  prevail  against the  Church

“...all Christian churches everywhere have held and hold the great Church that is here [at Rome] to be their only basis and foundation since, according to the Savior's promise, the gates of hell have never prevailed against her."
Catechism of the Catholic Church, Section Two, Paragraph 3, Article III, # 834, at https://www.usccb.org/sites/default/files/flipbooks/catechism/222/, accessed 12-27-21.

“The Church well knows that the gates of hell will not prevail against her.”
Pope Pius X, in Ilfermo Proposito (On Catholic Action in Italy, Encyclical promulgated on June 11, 1905, #6, at  https://www.papalencyclicals.net/pius10/p10fermo.htm, accessed 12-27-21.

“‘And although He seems to delay, we are certain that the Lord will not leave the scepter of sinners over the heritage of the just, that He will never abandon His heritage and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it‘ (In libro ii. Epist. S. Anselmi, ep. 33).”
Pope Pius X, in Communium Rerum (On St. Anselm of Aosta, Encyclical promulgated on April 21, 1909, #36, at https://www.papalencyclicals.net/pius10/p10ans.htm, accessed 12-27-21.

The  ship (Church)  is  going  through  with  Christ’s  hand  on  the  wheel

“The Church which, from the day of Pentecost, has been destined here below to a never-ending life, which went forth from the upper chamber into the world endowed with the gifts and inspirations of the Holy Spirit, what has been her mission during the last twenty centuries and in every country of the world if not, after the example of her Divine Founder, "to go about doing good"? (Acts x, 38)...At times the bark of Peter, favored by the winds, goes happily forward; at other times it appears to be swallowed up by the waves and on the point of being lost. Has not this ship always aboard the Divine Pilot who knows when to calm the angry waves and the winds?”
Pope Pius XI, in Iniquis Afflictisque (On the Persecution of the Church in Mexico, Encyclical promulgated on November 18, 1926, #29, at  https://www.papalencyclicals.net/pius11/p11iniqu.htm, accessed 12-27-21.

The  Church  can  never  fall

“Now you know well that the most deadly foes of the Catholic religion have always waged a fierce war, but without success, against this Chair; they are by no means ignorant of the fact that religion itself can never totter and fall while this Chair remains intact, the Chair which rests on the rock which the proud gates of hell cannot overthrow[5] and in which there is the whole and perfect solidity of the Christian religion.”
Pope Pius IX, in Inter Multiplices (Pleading for Unity of Spirit), Encyclical promulgated on March 21, 1853, #7, at  https://www.papalencyclicals.net/pius09/p9interm.htm, accessed 12-27-21.

“From this text it is clear that by the will and command of God the Church rests upon St. Peter...It is consequently the office of St. Peter to support the Church, and to guard it in all its strength and indestructible unity. How could he fulfil this office without the power of commanding, forbidding, and judging, which is properly called jurisdiction?...The words - and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it proclaim and establish the authority of which we speak. ‘What is the it?’ (writes Origen). ‘Is it the rock upon which Christ builds the Church or the Church? The expression indeed is ambiguous, as if the rock and the Church were one and the same. I indeed think that this is so, and that neither against the rock upon which Christ builds His Church nor against the Church shall the gates of Hell prevail’ (Origenes, Comment. in Matt., tom. xii., n. ii). The meaning of this divine utterance is, that, notwithstanding the wiles and intrigues which they bring to bear against the Church, it can never be that the church committed to the care of Peter shall succumb or in any wise fail. ‘For the Church, as the edifice of Christ who has wisely built 'His house upon a rock,' cannot be conquered by the gates of Hell, which may prevail over any man who shall be off the rock and outside the Church, but shall be powerless against it’ (Ibid.). Therefore God confided His Church to Peter so that he might safely guard it with his unconquerable power. He invested him, therefore, with the needful authority; since the right to rule is absolutely required by him who has to guard human society really and effectively. This, furthermore, Christ gave: ‘To thee will I give the keys of the kingdom of Heaven.’ And He is clearly still speaking of the Church, which a short time before He had called His own, and which He declared He wished to build on Peter as a foundation. The Church is typified not only as an edifice but as a Kingdom, and every one knows that the keys constitute the usual sign of governing authority. Wherefore when Christ promised to give to Peter the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, he promised to give him power and authority over the Church. ‘The Son committed to Peter the office of spreading the knowledge of His Father and Himself over the whole world. He who increased the Church in all the earth, and proclaimed it to be stronger than the heavens, gave to a mortal man all power in Heaven when He handed him the Keys’ (Johannes Chrysostomus, Hom. Liv., in Matt. v., 2)....
“And since all Christians must be closely united in the communion of one immutable faith, Christ the Lord, in virtue of His prayers, obtained for Peter that in the fulfilment of his office he should never fall away from the faith.”
Pope Leo XIII, in Satis Cognitum (On the Unity of the Church), Encyclical promulgated on June 29, 1896, #12, at

The  Church  can  never  fully  be  contaminated  or  apostatize  from  God

“To the one true Church of Christ, we say, which is visible to all, and which is to remain, according to the will of its Author, exactly the same as He instituted it. During the lapse of centuries, the mystical Spouse of Christ has never been contaminated, nor can she ever in the future be contaminated, as Cyprian bears witness: ‘The Bride of Christ cannot be made false to her Spouse: she is incorrupt and modest. She knows but one dwelling, she guards the sanctity of the nuptial chamber chastely and modestly.’"
Pope Pius XI, in Mortalium Animos (On Religious Unity), Encyclical promulgated on January, 1928, #10, at https://www.papalencyclicals.net/pius11/p11morta.htm, accessed 12-27-21.

”It is eminently befitting the nature and necessity of the case, that Christ Jesus has been and shall continue to be ready to safeguard the Church, which His provident care established for the salvation of the human race. This certainty is warranted by the promise of her Divine Founder, which we read in the Gospel; and it must be clear to evidence from the annals of that Church, on which error has never set a stain, which no falling away however widespread of her sons has made to waver, which regains her youthful vigor and ceaselessly renews her strength despite the assaults of impious men, even when carried to the most shocking extremes....
”We mean the precepts of Christ Jesus, who has provided and strengthened His Church with a superb, an immortal constitution which so many vicissitudes of time and fortune, so many tribulations during the twenty centuries that have passed have been unable to shake, and will never cause to totter even to the day of doom.”
Pope Pius XI, Ad Salutem (On St. Augustine, Encyclical promulgated on April 30, 1930, #1 & 29, at  https://www.papalencyclicals.net/pius11/p11salut.htm, accessed 12-27-21.

The  Church  will  go  on  to  complete  victory

“Though our ancestors' institutions failed, public affairs are in tumult, and everything human is confused, the Catholic Church alone never vacilates, but instead looks confidently to the future. She alone is born for immortality, trusting in the words addressed to Blessed Peter: ‘Upon this rock I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against her.’"
Pope Benedict XV, in Principi Apostolorum Petro (On St. Ephrem the Syrian), Encyclical promulgated on October 5, 1920, #15, at https://www.vatican.va/content/benedict-xv/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_ben-xv_enc_05101920_principi-apostolorum-petro.html, accessed 12-27-21.

“Our unshaken hope in this complete victory of God and of the Church receives daily confirmation (such is the infinite mercy of God!) from the noble ardor of innumerable souls whom we see turning themselves to God, in every country and in all classes of society.”
Pope Pius XI, in Caritate Christi Compulsi (On the Sacred Heart), Encyclical promulgated on May 3, 1932, #10, at https://www.vatican.va/content/pius-xi/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xi_enc_03051932_caritate-christi-compulsi.html, accessed 12-27-21.

There  is  NO  salvation  outside  of  the Church

"Outside the Church there is no salvation"....
"Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation...Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it."
Catechism of the Catholic Church, Part One, Section Two, Chapter Three, Article 9, Paragraph 3, Section III, #846 (1992 edition, p 244), at https://www.usccb.org/sites/default/files/flipbooks/catechism/226/, accessed 12-27-21.

“For 'there is one universal (Catholic) Church outside of which no one at all is saved...'"

The  Church  is  one,  holy,  catholic,  and apostolic

"The four classical marks of the Biblical church apply to Seventh-day Adventists: its holiness (in Jesus Christ), its catholicity (universality), its apostolicity (in harmony with the witness of the apostles/founders), its unity (one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism)."
North American Division Officers, in Adventist Review, October 1, 1992, p 27 (parentheses and italic in original).

The  Church  is  a  type  of  Noah’s  ark

"Many times pastors have compared the church to an ark of safety, and I believe it is....The church is a place to preserve our lives..."
Jim Cress, Mid-America Union Ministerial Secretary of the SDA church, in Adventist Review, August 7, 1986, p 23.

"The church is like Noah’s ark....it will help save God's people..."
Floyd Bresee, Associate Secretary of the General Conference Ministerial and Stewardship Association, in Adventist Review, August 9, 1984, p 18.

The  gates  of  hell  will  not  prevail  against the  Church

"...the case with the [SDA] Laodicean Church, as a church, is different.  The gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The last church will not be spewed out; it will not be rejected; it will go through triumphantly."
M.L. Andreasen, in Review and Herald, November 9, 1939,
p 7.

"...because the church is under God's grace it ‘may appear as about to fall, but it does not fall...'"
William G. Johnson, editor of the Adventist Review, in Adventist Review, September 22, 1983, p 14.

Please note: the church which appears to fall but does not is God’s True Church of obedient individuals, not a denominational structure!  For the Bible proof, please go to: http://www.TrueChurchofGod.info.

The  ship (Church)  is  going  through  with  Christ’s  hand  on  the  wheel

"Christ's statement is ‘that the gates of hell shall not prevail against' the church...Let us stay with the ship. The church...is going through and will surely drop anchor on the ‘sea of glass' because a ‘Divine hand is on the wheel’ – the hand of Christ."
Theodore Carcich, former vice-president of the General Conference, in Adventist Review, July 28, 1983, p 5.

The  Church  can  never  fall

"The prophetic scenario assures us of the (SDA) church's survival....[It will] go through until the very end....it does not fall..."
Charles E. Bradford, president of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, in Adventist Review, May 4, 1989, p 9.

The  Church  can  never  fully  be  contaminated  or  apostatize  from  God

"I told her [Miss Lyda Scott]...that God would not permit this denomination to so fully apostatize that there would be the coming out of another church."
Willie C. White, in the Willie C. White Correspondence file, May 23, 1915.

The  Church  will  go  on  to  complete  victory

"The Seventh-day Adventist Church will triumph gloriously and will go through triumphantly, as a corporate body, to the sea of glass."
Gordon W. Collier, Sr. in The Early and Latter Rain of the Holy Spirit, p 183.

"I want you to remember one thing, that the Laodicean (SDA) Church is the translation church...this is the very church that will be translated into the Kingdom of God."
J.L. McElhany, president of the General Conference, in Review and Herald, November 30, 1939, p 4.

"This church to which we belong will emerge a victorious company to stand some day on the sea of glass....Adventism is destined to triumph gloriously....They [God's people] will patiently watch and pray until God in His own time and in His own way purifies His church...The church will fulfill its prophetic role and will triumph. Let us stay with the church so that we can share in that victory."
E.R. Bacchus, president of the Ontario Conference of SDA, Canada, in Messenger, October, 1994, p 2 & 11.

There  is  NO  salvation  outside  of  the Church

"Regardless of the pretext, or how righteous the cause may appear, separation from the visible remnant [the SDA church] is apostasy from the body of Christ."
E.R. Bacchus, president of the Ontario Conference of SDA, Canada, in Messenger, October, 1994, p 2.

"The local [SDA] church becomes the ‘port of entry’ to the kingdom of God."
North American Division Officers, in Adventist Review, October 1, 1992, p 23.

“Therefore it is in the church...that He (Christ) invites all people who accept salvation....Church – who needs it?  You do, and so do I – and all others who choose to love Christ...He invites us there, and still adds to it daily such as should be saved.  Let us then treat church membership as the privilege it really is...”
Brian Jones, Bible instructor in the Washington Conference of SDA, in Adventist Review, March 7, 1991, p 10.

"There is some relationship between salvation and church membership."
Floyd Bresee, Associate Secretary of the General Conference Ministerial and Stewardship Association, in Adventist Review, August 9, 1984, p 18.

ORGANIZATIONAL  BELIEFS -- IN  DOCTRINE

Roman Catholic Church
Seventh-day Adventist Church

The  doctrine  of  original  sin

“...the Church has always taught that the overwhelming misery which oppresses men and their inclination towards evil and death cannot be understood apart from their connection with Adam's sin and the fact that he has transmitted to us a sin with which we are all born afflicted, a sin which is the 'death of the soul'.[291] Because of this certainty of faith, the Church baptizes for the remission of sins even tiny infants who have not committed personal sin....
“‘We therefore hold, with the Council of Trent, that original sin is transmitted with human nature, ‘by propagation, not by imitation’ and that it is. . . 'proper to each'" (Paul VI, CPG # 16).”
Catechism of the Catholic Church, Section Two, Article III & IV,  #403 & 419, at https://www.usccb.org/sites/default/files/flipbooks/catechism/104/ and https://www.usccb.org/sites/default/files/flipbooks/catechism/106/, accessed 12-27-21.

The  immortality  of  the  soul,  with  perfection  necessary  for  heaven  being  gained  after  death

“Every man receives his eternal recompense in his immortal soul from the moment of his death in a particular judgment by Christ, the judge of the living and the dead....
“Those who die in God's grace and friendship imperfectly purified, although they are assured of their eternal salvation, undergo a purification after death, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of God.
Catechism of the Catholic Church, Section Two, Article 12, Section VI, #1051 & 1054, at

The  Bible  is  imperfect

“...your Romish doctors strain every nerve to persuade us that Scripture is imperfect...”
Chr. Wordsworth, D.D., in Letters to M. Gordon, p 81, cited in Source Book for Bible Students, p 87-88.

“VATICAN CITY, Italy - The Vatican criticized a literal interpretation of the Bible and said the fundamentalist approach to scripture was a kind of intellectual suicide. A Vatican document said fundamentalism refuses to admit that the inspired Word of God has been expressed in human language...by human authors possessed of limited capacities and resources.
“The 125-page document, The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church, was written by the Pontifical Biblical Commission, a group of scholars who assist the Pope in the study of scripture. It noted that a fundamentalist interpretation of the Bible had been gaining strength. The Vatican is increasingly concerned about the number of Catholics, especially in Latin America, who have abandoned the church for fast-growing fundamentalist sects. The fundamentalist approach is dangerous, for it is attractive to people who look to the Bible for ready answers to the problems of life, the document said. Fundamentalism actually invites people to a kind of intellectual suicide. A fundamentalist interpretation of the Bible began during the Reformation, when Protestants showed an increasing concern for fidelity to the literal meaning of scripture.
“The document said fundamentalism refused to admit that there was a human element in the transmission of the Word of God. One member of the commission, Jesuit Father Joseph Fitzmeyer, said fundamentalists failed to recognize that several years elapsed between the time Jesus spoke and the time when the gospels were written. There was no stenographer, no one with a tape recorder on that time, said Fitzmeyer.”

Claims  infallibility – or  whatever  the  Church  does  or  teaches  is  correct  and  needs  no  repentance

“...not least among the blessings which have resulted from the public and legitimate honor paid to the Blessed Virgin and the saints is the perfect and perpetual immunity of the Church from error and heresy. We may well admire in this the admirable wisdom of the Providence of God, who, ever bringing good out of evil, has from time to time suffered the faith and piety of men to grow weak, and allowed Catholic truth to be attacked by false doctrines, but always with the result that truth has afterwards shone out with greater splendor, and that men's faith, aroused from its lethargy, has shown itself more vigorous than before.”
Pope Pius XI, in Quas Primas (on the Feast of Christ the King), Encyclical promulgated on, December 11, 1925, #22, at https://www.vatican.va/content/pius-xi/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xi_enc_11121925_quas-primas.html, accessed 12-27-21.

“In order to preserve the Church in the purity of the faith handed on by the apostles, Christ who is the Truth willed to confer on her a share in his own infallibility. By a 'supernatural sense of faith' the People of God, under the guidance of the Church's living Magisterium, 'unfailingly adheres to this faith.'
“The mission of the Magisterium is linked to the definitive nature of the covenant established by God with his people in Christ. It is this Magisterium's task to preserve God's people from deviations and defections and to guarantee them the objective possibility of professing the true faith without error. Thus, the pastoral duty of the Magisterium is aimed at seeing to it that the People of God abides in the truth that liberates. To fulfill this service, Christ endowed the Church's shepherds with the charism of infallibility in matters of faith and morals. The exercise of this charism takes several forms:
"’The Roman Pontiff, head of the college of bishops, enjoys this infallibility in virtue of his office, when, as supreme pastor and teacher of all the faithful - who confirms his brethren in the faith he proclaims by a definitive act a doctrine pertaining to faith or morals....The infallibility promised to the Church is also present in the body of bishops when, together with Peter's successor, they exercise the supreme Magisterium,’ above all in an Ecumenical Council. When the Church through its supreme Magisterium proposes a doctrine ‘for belief as being divinely revealed,’ and as the teaching of Christ, the definitions ‘must be adhered to with the obedience of faith.’ This infallibility extends as far as the deposit of divine Revelation itself.”

“The infallibility of the Magisterium of the Pastors extends to all the elements of doctrine, including moral doctrine, without which the saving truths of the faith cannot be preserved, expounded, or observed.”

Christ  will  set  up  His  kingdom  on  earth  at  His  second  coming

“Therefore peace being made, and every evil suppressed, that righteous King and Conqueror (Jesus Christ) will institute a great judgment on the earth respecting the living and the dead, and will deliver all the nations into subjection to the righteous who are alive, and will raise the righteous dead to eternal life, and will Himself reign with them on the earth...”

“Though already present in his Church, Christ's reign is nevertheless yet to be fulfilled "with power and great glory" by the King's return to earth....
“Before his Ascension Christ affirmed that the hour had not yet come for the glorious establishment of the messianic kingdom awaited by Israel[561] which, according to the prophets, was to bring all men the definitive order of justice, love and peace.”

The  doctrine  of  original  sin

"The spiritual disease that has infected all of us is sin...we are all in a sinful state because of the decision of Adam, the corporate head of the human race...by man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and as a result, all men sinned. That is, because of Adam's sin, all men became sinners.”
General Conference president Neal C. Wilson, in Adventist Review, June 28, 1990, p 8.

"We are all sinners, whether we have ever done anything ‘wrong’ or not. It is not sinning that makes us sinners. It is getting born that makes us sinners....We are born sinners, and we sin because we are sinners. We are not sinners because we sin!...Since we are sinners by nature, we of ourselves are never going to be able to produce any obedience."
Morris L. Venden, well-known SDA pastor and author, in Faith That Works, p 161-165).

"Man sins because he is sinful. He is not sinful because he sins...You don't have to sin to be sinful; all you have to do is get yourself born!"
Morris L. Venden, in To Know God: A Five Day Plan, p 23.

"We are born sinful and subject to death--prior to lawbreaking...Clearly Adam's sin affected the race--constituted them sinners."
Issues: The Seventh-day Adventist Church and Certain Private Ministries, sponsored and authorized for publication by the North American Division Officers and Union Presidents of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, p 118.

     "We are born sinners..."
Adult Sabbath School Lessons Quarterly, First Quarter, Lesson #5, January 23, 1983, p 35.

The  immortality  of  the  soul,  with  perfection  necessary  for  heaven  being  gained  after  death

The Bible states that "the soul that sinneth, it shall die" (Ezekiel 18:20), not live forever. But the SDA church teaches that no one can overcome all sin in this life before Christ comes.  Yet God will not destroy you but will make you perfect and take you to heaven, giving you eternal life anyway. That is teaching the doctrine on the immortality of the soul, and of perfection being granted after death even though you were not ready for heaven!

"...I will always fall short of my potential....for those who are hungering and thirsting after righteousness...[are] striving after an elusive goal..."
Alden Thompson, professor of religion at Walla Walla SDA College, in Adventist Review, December 6, 1984, p 6.

"...if we die to sin at conversion, are we going to sin anymore?...We will continue to sin as Christians--not because we want to, but because we're human."
H.M.S. Richards, Jr., in Voice of Prophecy News, May, 1985, p 2.

“We will never reach sinless perfection in this life...”
R.S. Watts, Vice-President of the General Conference, in Review and Herald, May 19, 1966, p 4.

"We should remember that only when Jesus comes can we be made perfect."
Taylor G. Bunch, Retired SDA minister, in Ministry Magazine, December, 1965, p 9.

The  Bible  is  imperfect

“In our study and presentation (of the Bible), we also must reject the idea of Biblical inerrancy and verbal inspiration, but we dare not treat the Scriptures as just another human document.”
General Conference president Neal C. Wilson, in Adventist Review, December 17, 1981, p 5.

Claims  infallibility – or  whatever  the  Church  does  or  teaches  is  correct  and  needs  no  repentance

The SDA church hierarchical organization has never repented from the wrongs committed and the rejection of God’s truth since its earliest beginnings in 1903.  For proof, see the book “Abomination of Desolation and Seventh-day Adventist Church History, Second Edition” at http://www.LightMinistries.com/id94.htm.

Christ  will  set  up  His  kingdom  on  earth  at  His  second  coming

"The signs He [Christ] predicted are taking place before our eyes. World conditions are precisely what He said they would be just before His second advent....
"What will happen when this new world Leader appears? What will the various governments do about it? How will the churches react? What will be the effect on the stock market? More important still, how will it affect individuals--you and me and everybody?...
"Now He is about to do it again [healing the sick], on a global scale. His coming invasion of the world will have a similar miraculous result. Hospitals and convalescent homes will be emptied, their one-time occupants bursting with new life and vigor... Thousands upon thousands [of insane in mental homes] will rejoice at His touch upon their poor, confused brains....
"Eventually raising the dead on a prodigious scale will be another of the first actions of the coming world Leader....
"When you come to think of it, this will be a novel way to start a new regime....
"Part of His master design is full employment for everybody. And the jobs He provides will never run out....Indeed the establishment of His kingdom will be the success story of the ages....
"In the not far distant future He will take over the government of our world and set up His own kingdom of righteousness and peace...all those who are accepted as citizens of His kingdom have to experience a radical change in their minds, so radical indeed that it will be as though they had started all over again, like being born anew. They will have to think differently, and act differently...They will have to stop acting like rebels and take their stand with the loyalists....
"Come, O man the world needs most! Come and bring an end to all strife and conflict! Come and make wars cease to the ends of the earth! Come and make all sick people well again! Come and restore the crippled and handicapped! Come and raise the dead! Come and take over the government of mankind! Come and commence Your reign of righteousness and peace! Come and bring in the glorious years of eternity!
     "’Even so, come, Lord Jesus!’"
Arthur S. Maxwell, well known SDA author, in Man the World Needs Most, p 76-83, 93-96.

"We Still Believe...Jesus Will Usher in a New World Order....
"He  will  come  to  inaugurate  a  ‘new  world order’  that  will  be  unlike anything  the  world  has . Someday soon, you and I will live in that new world....If Jesus were to come tomorrow, would you be happy in the new world He will bring with Him?
"But neither democracy nor communism nor socialism is God's system. His eternal kingdom is built on different principles and will supersede all earthly governments and powers...and the next great event in the world history will happen when God sets up His kingdom that will last forever."
General Conference President, Robert Folkenberg, in We Still Believe, p 23, 28-29, 118-119.

“Thus shall we anticipate the establishment of God’s eternal kingdom of peace at the second advent of our Lord and Saviour, who is the Prince of peace.”
Annual Council of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Adventist Review, December 5, 1985, p 19.

“...the establishment of the literal kingdom of God ushered in by the glorious second coming of Jesus Christ.”
Douglas Devnich, Director of Public Affairs for the Canadian Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, in Ministry Magazine, November, 1983, p 24.

“We believe that soon Jesus will come to this world and usher in His kingdom of peace, joy, and righteousness.”
General Conference President Neal C. Wilson, in Adventist Review, December 13, 1979, p 6.

We have seen incontrovertible proof, from both Catholic and Adventist sourced documents, proving that the Adventist church has adopted Roman Catholic beliefs and practices in another 17 different areas dealing with church Organizational Practices and Beliefs regarding the Church itself and its Doctrines.

But 36 (19 in last Newsletter and 17 in this Newsletter) different areas of stark similarity between the Catholic and the SDA church is not quite all of the 40+ similarities we promised to reveal.  So what about the remaining areas showing that the SDA church images the Catholic church?  This is what we will discover in our next Newsletter.

TO OUR READERS AND SUPPORTERS:

"Let There Be Light" Ministries is not using your prayers and donations to build itself into a kingdom, but is concerned with getting the Present Truth into the hands of the common people quickly, effectively, and wisely. Instead of working towards acquiring expensive video and T.V. production equipment, satellite or shortwave facilities, we would rather use the Lord's money in publishing and distributing materials which give the full present truth gospel, as well as supporting many full-time foreign ministers and workers around the world who have proven themselves to be reliable and stable. With their monthly support and present truth materials supplied them, these ministers and workers then have the ability to more effectively spread the spoken and printed truth, establish the people in it, and carry this precious truth into the very homes of those who sit in darkness. This is how the Loud Cry of the Third Angel will be spread, and is now being spread! If the Lord impresses you to help in these endeavors, your donations will be greatly appreciated--not just by this Ministry, but by many others as well! MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU!

MINISTRY NEEDS

"Let There Be Light" Ministries is committed to the spreading of the full present truth gospel message worldwide, and has been doing so since 1986.  This Ministry has operating expenses covering the areas of: printing, publishing, and writing of present truth books, booklets, tracts, and other literature; DVD, video and audio taping, production, and distribution; supporting several ministers and workers in foreign Countries; mail order – both domestic and foreign; traveling to hold meetings – both locally, nationally, and internationally; answering correspondence and questions regarding the message of truth; offering National and International Bible studies; sending free present truth literature to contacts in many poor Countries; etc.
Your gracious prayers and support is greatly appreciated and needed.  Without the Lord's guidance, blessings, and your support, this Ministry could not continue to reach out worldwide with the precious message of Revelation 14:6-12 & 18:1-5.

May our God and Saviour continue to lead and guide all those who have helped us reach souls who sit in darkness with the precious light of gospel truth.  May our supporters remember that they share in each and every soul who has been reached by this Ministry and converted to the Lord and His present truth!

GENERAL FOREIGN MISSION WORK NEEDS

We are currently supporting several workers in many different Countries on a monthly basis.  We check into the economy of each area and supply a base support which is adequate depending on their situation, but not extravagant.  This base support is to ensure that the monthly needs of each worker and family is met for that month so that the worker may devote full time to the ministry work.  In addition to this, we are sending extra materials for evangelism, and money for printing, publishing, holding meetings, traveling, and other necessary areas in spreading the Present Truth in their Country.  And as the work extends, especially will the expenses for evangelism expand.  Whatever you can send to help in this necessary and vital area is greatly appreciated.
The work of spreading God's present truth is not to be limited, but must extend world-wide to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people before our Saviour can come (Matthew 24:14).  What better way of spreading the Present Truth Gospel than by having workers who speak the native language, who reside in that particular Country, who can live and preach the truth, visit the interests in their homes, and spread the printed truth translated into their native language!
"Our publications should be printed in other languages, that foreign nations may be reached.  Much can be done through the medium of the press, but still more can be accomplished if the influence of the living preacher goes with our publications....The Lord has moved upon men of other tongues and has brought them under the influence of the truth, that they might be qualified to labor in His cause." Testimonies, vol 3, p 204-205.

Please financially help us to continue supporting our current ministers and workers on a consistent basis, so that the spreading of the truth will not be interrupted but can quickly lighten this dark world with the glory of God.
"Every opportunity should be improved to extend the truth to other nations.  This will be attended with considerable expense, but expense should in no case hinder the performance of this work.  Means are of value only as they are used to advance the interest of the kingdom of God.  The Lord has lent men means for this very purpose, to use in sending the truth to their fellow men."  Testimonies, vol 3, p 208.

LETTERS to "LET THERE BE LIGHT" Ministries

Dear brethren in the Lord,
We are very much touched by your teachings. We are the founders of a small Bible Study Group that consists of 5 blind widows, 4 single ladies, 6 elderly along with 5 orphaned children who suffer parental loss as a result of HIV/AIDS and Covid-19 pandemic in our community. We are not registered in Kenya as a ministry or Church for the last one year. We conduct such studies with a simple objective of wanting to strengthen ourselves unto a deeper understanding of the word of God as the only HOPE but alone we may not do much.
Also we are unanimously looking for a better Biblical founded ministry to join in for advice and to give us a direction in our work here in remote parts of ____ in Kenya. We have no access to Bibles that are in our local language (Ekegusii). We only have two KJV English Bibles we were blessed with by a distant Christian friend. We are sad that our people do not understand the Scriptures since many are not schooled.
We also conduct our worship services under tree shade since we have no funds to erect a simple tent for our worship. We are requesting your board of honor to consider our young congregation and grant us with filled and inspired spiritual materials and more so to extend your true ministry teachings unto us to help grow in our faith in the Lord. Also and kindly allow us to invite you to Kenya for a seminar, crusade, baptize and conduct the Lord’s Supper.
We are looking forward to hearing from you soon in Jesus name. May God of grace abide in you as long as you continue to serve Him.
Gripped by His grace and glory, your co-laborer in Christ. B.P, Kenya, East Africa.

Dear friend,
Thank you for your email and Newsletter, its of great help and support to me and to the church that I lead, and we may need more teachings in future.
Your good friend, B.S., Internet.

Dear Elder Robert Sessler,
May the praise of the Lord be on our lips, at all times; as this is right for us, who have been saved by the grace of our loving heavenly Father; for only in eternity will we see the love that has brought Jesus down to us to give His life; in the place of ours so we can be partakers of His Righteousness. The things that He had to give up; for Him to come down to save us; being the Creator of the Universe, the Commander of the Heavenly host, as He is the one who lives in all of eternity, from everlasting to Everlasting; God forever more; to consent to be made in the likeness of sinful man; could not be more degrading for Him:to do, for He is the sinless One: the One who hates sin, and in who sin cannot dwell in His presence; for sin and sinners will perish in His presence; but He took on Himself human nature so we would not be destroyed by His glory!
Dear Elder Robert Sessler, first of all I want to thank you for the tremendous materials you are sending to us here, as without you nothing I can do as I cannot afford to purchase and order BIBLES and BOOKS you are sending here, please never give up. I want to let you know that the Crusade is ended. Praise God, 50 souls have joined us. 30 are Roman Catholics and 10 from traditional beliefs, and 6 from Jehovah's Witnesses and 4 from Methodist, and the Home Church was planted. I will often going there to encouraging them as they are new.
Also I will be very grateful if you could send them, SPIRIT OF PROPHECY BOOKS and BIBLES. These books are much needed to these new members, if possible. I also tell that widow that I will always visiting her when I go there. I can assure you that this aged widow is suffering terribly, please don't forget her in your prayers. I would like to send you the photograph of the last day of the Crusade. Praise God, the business man who also joined from the Roman Catholic provided us with tents as it was very sunny....
If God bless in November I need to have another Crusade, 20kms away from my home place. There is no time to waste time is running out, no time to be resting at home, God's Final Warning Message must reach every where. Please don't forget this old widow ____ in your prayers always. I humbly thank you in advance.
Will close for now and wait to hear from you. Praise God! With lots of love in Christ Jesus our Lord. The End is here!! ARE WE READY?
B.C. REV14-REV18. Zambia.

CORRESPONDENCE FROM FOREIGN WORKERS

FROM KENYA, EAST AFRICA

(Combination of 2 letters) Good morning Elder,
     1Joh. 3:1.
Greetings in Jesus' name. Oh, how near home we've come! Praise God. I received the support with Thanksgiving to the Lord for His gracious bounties.
We are fine in spite of all the covid protocols. Jesus is Lord and I can only say, Glory to the Lord. We are reaching out to the people as opportunity avails, God opening the ways. We recently met with a big group that has recently come out of the main church. ____ and I had a good meeting together hoping the Lord will join our hands to help propel the work here to the Loud Cry.
Nevertheless, we are lately surrounded with some of the old controversies on the Godhead, but I believe the Lord will weather the storms as He has done before as we keep our eyes fixed on the pledged power of the Godhead in behalf of His people. Even so join us in prayers going forward.
I wish you the best protection from our caring Father. Rom. 13: 11....
We are set for our evangelistic effort starting Sunday. Keep us in your prayers as protocols are changing daily.
God bless you. B.I., Kenya.

FROM PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Report From ____ Province
Improvement in the work of medical missionary was well progressing when two new needed equipment purchased, the blender and juicer machines. With these machines for blending and juicing fruits and vegetables reduced the load of extracting herbs using improvise hand manual ways of preparing herbs for patients. I make schedules and timetabled myself to start treat patients and i would help about five (5) patients at a time. I then began the work with four patients. They were women that commonly have difficulty case as ‘stomach ulcer’ and ‘dysmenorrhea’. Among them, one lady was on drugs at the hospital but did not get any recovery and improvement when taking it. Another lady was with the complication of ‘Premenstrual Syndrome’ and ‘HIV AIDS’. Other was with ‘dysmenorrhea’ and ‘breast cancer’ malignant.  The ladies were at different locations and I took few hours for preparation and miles to walk to reach each patient for treatment. Because of living at different locations I visited them having all day spent till late home. It was a blessing to help even when encountered obstacles during the ministry especially during the rainy season.
When treating them for couple of months at different times, they were gradually recovering. I shared few Bible texts and prayed with them. I taught them live the Eight Laws of Health. It is the only way their body is in health, live longer and wait for the better life in heaven at Christ second appearing.
My intention is to expose my wonderful work experience in treating patients who have maladies that seek healing. And through God’s wonderful creation the plants contain healing materials with applying God given simple techniques, God’s work is magnified in the medical missionary field.....
After attending Medical Training School years back, I put in practical the theory and demonstration practically. I did not have to wait but what I could do in my vicinity, the plants I learnt to use as herbs, simple materials and equipment with a focus to God for His direction, I started Medical Missionary work.
At first I knew that the work of Medical Missionary work was at a pace. But persistent and commitment in the work trusting God as Great Healer, gradually I could see God was leading. I started with one or two patients and as the medical work was in progress I could see great changes developed. Patients recovered and healed while gaining more experiences through diagnosing and identifying patient’s ailments and diseases. Also understanding and applying God’s simple technique guides which are in the Eight Laws of Health. By God’s grace I am learning and experiencing more in the medical field. To this far, Medical work is progressing dynamically. I thank God who uses me as His instrument where many patients are reported constantly. As the numbers of patients are increasing each time I make two alternative ways of visitation.
For patients with critical cases that need close watch for treatment are taken to my house as well as those coming from far places while others are visited in their homes. Only herbs are prepared and treatments are given at their homes. There are other factors that run against my schedule, time and privacy that obstructed the work but I take it to the Lord in pray. I am thankful to God that He necessitates daily provisions.
This year the number of patients is doubling up. Under God’s providence none of the patients went unrecovered and unhealed which means no one while under my treatment died. Those that come under the treatment when recovered had life testimony worth sharing among their family members and others. One way or the other, God’s truth is reaching souls through the medical missionary work. Almost 100 patients were treated this year.      My research and keeping records of patients’ treatment, their recovery since 2019 totaled 502. The most people were women having severe cases such as uterine, menstrual and cervical problems followed by men having urine retention cases and children having diarrheal problems. Beside these, other cases that went under treatment that got healing are Colitis, Stomach Ulcer, Breast Cancer, Anemia, Chicken Pox, Diabetes and more. These were cases treated. This year’s workload of herbs preparation was cut down due to the purchased of a new Generator. With it much work is done in time to serve patients and enough time for visiting.      As this year, more was treated in my house as well as visiting them few miles that would take a walk or if it means to hope on PMV vehicle. In times like treating more than one in a day at miles away is a tough situation, but I have to go for delivery. There are other things I am confronted. Sometimes when patients coming for treatment to my house are more than two, create household burden and (affect) privacy. Because of this, I am intending to build a separate clinical house for the patients, but since I am visited by incoming patients and committed in the medical work I am in stranded situation. I hope for a new house to be built separately for them. It is my request to pray that God will provide materials to build and people who may offer help and assistant.     This year I have attended five Evangelistic meetings at different locations where I presented health messages, specifically “God’s Simple Method of Healing” as my theme. Twenty-seven patients were treated at those Evangelistic meetings held.      There is a big work in the medical missionary field and God is not slack in rescuing the souls who are perishing from physical maladies. It needs people who are committed and surrendered to God to use it in His service. God is at work to magnify His truth through Medical Missionary work that the rays of Gospel light may reach individual, family and people. There are many people who are dying without gospel message and the medical work needs to break down the barriers for the Gospel to reach those souls and give them hope.     I am very thankful to Pr ____ for been assisting me financially and transport when I’m in desperate need in my mission. Report From ____ Province
A call came from ____ where one of the big rivers of Papua New Guinea is flowing. Jungles and the terrain of the landscape isolate the place. Right through, the big Ramu River is flowing that runs northeast to the sea.
Having our missionary trip there, from April 16th – 25th 2021, with family praise who assisted in singing choirs at the Evangelistic Meeting, Pr. ____ Senior Pastor and myself. We responded to the call by a faithful lady named ____. She with new church members still clung onto the faith that was once accepted. She called Pr. ____ to run a Evangelistic meeting and to conduct baptism on the Sabbath at the end of the meeting.
Pr. ____ was to join us during the week as the family praise and I left for Ramu. On 16th Friday we took PMV truck and traveled 50 miles and dropped off at Ramu River. It was to us a new place traveling with few direction informed to us before we headed down the river. As new place to travel I mediated to God for His direction that we were to travel the right routing to reach that place. As we came to the riverbank to pick up on the dinghy or a long banana boats crafted by the people out there, we were stranded but could not easily panic and disappointed. I meditated to God and asked a stranger nearby and he told me that all banana boats and skippers had gone out by Thursday 18th and would be back the following week, which that week the meeting is to be run. We were confused whether to turn back in terms of financial constraint if it means to stay there longer to wait for another week. And also to withdraw back would be a discouragement to those faithful church members who were earnestly expected our arrival. In such situation God was making our way out possible unexpectedly.
Two couple, which the husband a physician from work was to visit his village and the family members had just arrived at the riverbank. And there was only one dinghy waiting for them. The physician hired the dinghy and the skipper waited for him and to pick them up. It was the only chance of that moment of opportunity and as the skipper of the dinghy was loading the cargos onto the boat I asked him we were going to our place of destination. He told me he was hired and that it was going to nearby village. While I was conversed, the physician heard our conversation. He asked me and I told him the place and the condition of our situation. Understanding our situation he told the skipper they are good number of passengers to take them.
The skipper agreed and we paid the fare for travel. While traveling down on the boat the physician asked me more and I told him everything and he understood our situation and was kind and provides hospitality to us.
When we reached his village the villagers welcome his family as well as us. They were so kind. They provide food and a place of rest before the travel will be next morning. We had a good sleep at night and next morning the skipper took us down the river about 60 miles until we reach the destination. At the arrival, sister ____ welcomed us with joy and gratitude.
I began the first night study on “The Last Day Events”. The people around that area scattered by the river living in small islands heard speaker reaching them, came that night on their canoes to the main island where I was preaching. The people were amazed and thrilled by the messages during the week because I was taking the current events taking place in fulfillment to the Bible prophesy that is taking place around the world. They were stirred by the message as more people attended the night studies.
As a result, eight souls were baptized by Pr. ____ on the Sabbath after joining us in the week. Many took their stand and to support and move the work of the Lord and the faith which sister ____ with few church members who had being faithful to. A brother from the Sunday church, a faithful and influential person who leads large congregation was convinced by the messages, told us that he would join the rank but then he had many people he had to tell about the precious truth he discovered. He allowed his wife to worship on Sabbath while he have a work to present truths in his church to let people know the truth which he with them would joined in soon.
Few youths took their stand with sister ____ and they are happy to be baptized in the next evangelistic meeting held.
In such places like this, there a few champions who are holding onto the faith as precious jewels. Pray that the light of truth penetrates in dark corners in such places to illumine the hearts of men. And also pray for these faithful ones who stand as light that more souls may come to the light and the knowledge of truth.
!!!...MAY THE Lord God be with us all as we keep looking up for His Glory…!!! (Reported by Missionary ____).

FROM THE PHILIPPINES

(Combination of 3 letters) Dear brother Bob,
     3 John 2.
Hi! Brother Bob how are you? I always pray that you are always in good health and safe. We too are fine through the goodness of our loving God. We are so busy doing His work although there's trials and hardships in the situation that we are in, but it doesn't hinder us in doing the task that the Lord assigned to us. Thank.God for His strength and encouragement and for inspiring us to move forward.
For this past two months, we'd been busy for the progress of our church school here in ____, ____. Continuous students are being added to roll. And some of them are from outside of our church. We are at least had a chance to mold them in the education pattern in the Bible and had a chance to also share the truth with their parents. We have started to use the church as their classroom, but since their numbers are growing and that they are not with the same level and age, we need to divide them and we need to build at least simple classroom for them. We have already built one  with our small budget  and its  just a post and roof  but no wall yet.  We still don’t use it yet because its rainy season here now and the rain are entereing the small building. And because we have only one teacher here who devote her time and talent in teaching the children, and since we divide the children into two classes, I also need to be a teacher for the older one.  In addition to this, we started also our church school in ____, ____. There are also several childrens there that enrolled in the school. And we need also to sent there two of our missionaries to be a teacher of the childrens there. And all these teachers are being supported by the church in small amount and so I’m giving them additional help also from my personal allowance.
We are also busy with our work of doing house to house work, and visitation and giving Bible study in different location and town. We already make our schedule so that we will give time to all. My schedule is from Sunday to Tuesday, I am teaching the students here in ____ and on the afternoon till night of Sundays through Tuesdays, we have our regular Bible studies with those that we are laboring. And on Wednesdays or sometimes afternoon of Tuesdays we already go to ____ to have our midweek meeting and worship with the brethren there and during the whole day of Wednesday till night, sometimes up to 10 o'clock in the evening we are giving Bible studies with all those that we met there that are interested to hear the truth. And on Thursdays, we went to ____ to visit also our brethren there who are new in the faith, giving Bible studies to them, establishing them in the truth and opening new field there, and distributing pamplets there. Mostly, we spend our Sabbaths there, but once in a while, we also spend our Sabbath in ____ and in ____ to strengthened them also.
Brother Bob, we are planning to have our training again for the young people this coming July or August as the Lord's providence opens the way and as He prospers us so that we will have means to use for this training just even for their food. We need to do this training to call the youth to help us in doing the Lord's work and to equip and train them so that they will be ready once they decided to enter the missionary field. We really need now a helping hand in the persons of these young people to scatter the seeds of truth to the world that the people may be ready to stand in the time of crisis. May you please help us pray for this to happen. We need additional workers in His vineyard who are faithful and true in His calling and who are willing to sacrifice everything for the cause of the Lord....
Brother Bob, we just came back home from our two weeks missionary trip, we visted those interests that we are laborng and giving Bible studies. We spend two Sabbaths with them, encouraging and establising them in the present truth that they may be ready to stand firm in the coming crisis and for Christ's near approach.
Last August 1-15, I spent two weeks practical or actual training for the young people. There are 18 young people who attended and joined the training. The first week were spent in teaching them to know some practical labor such as livelihood program and how to be a self supporting missionaries, we also have a medical missionary training and every mornng and evening, there's a Bible lesson for them. On the second week, we focus on learning how to give Bible studies to the unbelievers and on the afternoon we go out house to house to apply what they have learned seeking for souls and teaching them simple lessons that will attract them to Jesus and know what is truth. The time we spent, is very short, it may be better if they stay here longer so we may do a lot of work for the Lord, but our budget for food is limited, that's why we send them home already.
Brother Bob, our work now is getting harder because of the pandemic. We can’t easily enter to other Provinces unless you're vaccinated. And we are not yet vaccinated and have no plans to be vaccinated at this moment. But with the mercies of God, He is still working for us. He sometimes allowed us to enter to some places that really need us to work there and win soul to Him and we take advantage of it, we do what we can possibly do while God is giving us chances. Time will come where we can’t do God's work anymore.
We are also trying to use some of our time in our preparation for the coming crisis. We do planting rice, vegetables and fruits so that we will have food when the time comes that we are not allowed to buy nor sell. I do believe that Jesus is coming very soon. And we need to prepare ourselves both spiritually and physically so we can stand in the crisis. May God help us to prepare, to overcome and repent of all our sins before its too late and help us to bear all our trials in this time. Let us pray for each other. May God help us all prepare....
The Lord has been so good to us for this past two months. He opened for us a lot of work to do for Him. That is why we've been so busy for this past months doing His work both in gospel and medical missionary work. We are travelling to and fro from ____ to ____ provinces to meet the needs of the people. We are giving series of Bible study with several people in ____ and here in ____, ____ as well as doing a lot of medical missionary works. During this pandemic, a lot of people get sick and died. And people are really anxious to acquire healing and they are now more open to hear the word of God.
When we are in ____, people are coming to us, asking our help to what to do with their conditions. And we (with some young missionaries there) are always ready to help them in their conditions. We are so grateful to God for His healing power granted to these people through the simple remedies and the laws of health. We are also doing house to house visitation and giving several Bible studies to them and to other people that we are working (with). Others are attending Sabbaths already.
As of now, we are here in ____. Me and bro ____ are taking care and helping our new sister here who are sick. She and her husband are sick for a long time before we met and knew them. They are suffering from diabetes, heart problem and hypertension. Her husband was bedridden already for few weeks and don’t want to eat anymore. Last friday he died. But few years before, when he still stronger and can walk he was listening to us everytime we are giving Bible study to them and attending Sabbath with us. And during his last days, we are with him, we are praying with him and always gave him comforts and encouragements especially to the promises of God. He didn't want to go to the hospital for fear to be declared as covid patient. He remain in their house until his last breath. And we saw with our own eyes when God gradually took his last breath. We can’t do anything but to look at him, while singing and praying to God. He died peacefully, hoping that God has accepted and forgiven him, hoping to see him in the resurrection morning.
As of now, we are taking care of his wife, who are suffering from the same disease. Last July, her feet was nailed and wounded. And since she is diabetic, it took almost 4 months already and still didn't heal the wound despite of a lot of drugs recommended by her doctor. Her feet is reddening and full of pus. She can’t walk from the time that she got wounded. And she is also suffering from heart problem and hypertension. Almost everyday, she suffered from these. She feared of losing her feet because of the wounds that didnt heal. Last two weeks, I encourage her to undergo cleansing program. I administered it. I told her that she need first to bring her blood sugar to a normal level because if it does not become normal, it would be hard to heal the wound. She needs to take only all vegetables, and no fruits on her diet for the meantime. And as we undergo the cleansing program and following it, her wound become dry and healed. We put charcoal poultice on the wounds and it helps a lot. Thank God for God's healing power and through His nature's remedial agencies. As of now, she needs to continue the program, and to continue the healing process, for her diabetes, heart problem and hypertension. We hope that God will bless and heal her fully as we belived His promises and follow His counsels. Please include her in your prayers.
You know brother Bob, through helping them, their children, families and relatives are now open to hear the message. They are now listening to our Bible studies and promise to attend Sabbath with us. We hope and pray that God will continue to guide them into all the truth and convict their hearts to accept it and Jesus in their hearts. And through this testimony of healing, some also become aware of their diet and become interested to change their lifestyle especially their diet in order to have a good health.
Till here for now. Please continue to pray for our work here . Keep safe and God bless brother Bob.
Your sister in Christ, s.b., Philippines.

FROM UGANDA, EAST AFRICA

(Combination of 4 letters) Dear Elder Sessler.
Received your email requesting for special prayers to ____ and ____ we are believing God for His healing mercies upon them. The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: “You will make his bed in his sickness” Psalm 41:3.  God is good to all who love Him.
This side, the Government has approved herbal treatment called Covidex. The main ingredients are Warbugia Ugandensis with Turmeric.  It attacks the virus (and) people have recovered even in ICU (Intensive care unit).  Others that we have used are lemons, garlic, ginger and onions: they slice, boil and take (and) if someone cannot take because of bitterness he adds honey....
The Lord in His mercy helped us to have more than a week long retreat or mini Camp meeting that was from 21st to 29th August 2021.  Most participates were young people the emphasis was to interest them to believe Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord.
"Many times I ask myself the question, Will my dear children be saved in the kingdom? I cannot bear the thought of their being shut out of the City with the wicked. I love my children, but God says that only the good and holy can be saved. And if you will overcome your wrongs, love one another, and be at peace among yourselves, the Lord will bless and save you. You cannot be good, or do right, in your own strength. You must go to God and ask him for strength. Ask him that his grace may influence your hearts, and make you right. Believe the Lord will do it; trust him to do it. You can be little Christians; you can love and serve God." An Appeal to the Youth, p 43.
All we needed of these people is to know their God, serve Him and share Him with others making them fishermen of men, what an army of light that would light the world with the glorious gospel of Christ Jesus, which will hasten the second advent.
After Camp I gave out some books and tracts. We are still under partial lock down, for the second wave has some how surged down, however it's effects has increased poverty, teen pregnancy, indolence, corruption, suicide, economic distress in order to curb the economic downgrade, government has increased taxes, and heart related diseases due to antibiotic drugs taken (to) treat symptoms of COVID 19, that is on the rise in both the young and old person's. These known drugs - like Azithromycin - with (have) serious side effects that alter the heart, and yet it has been most recommended (drug) in the fight against COVID....
The Government this side has eased the lock down, but the population are in extreme poverty.  There has been increase crimes and domestic wrangles and evils of all types have increased.  There (are) homes that need humanitarian assistance.  When (I) look at these things my prayer is that come Lord Jesus 'Maranatha'.
The brothers in Kenya had indicated of a Camp Meeting they are yet to confirm, there are still tough measures for one to cross to another country and transport fare is double expensive.
We at times go through tough times.  What encourages me is the story of Joseph (who when all) alone (still) believe (in God while) in the Land of Egypt (when) he was a slave like Onesimus...
“His soul thrilled with the high resolve to prove himself true to God--under all circumstances to act as became a subject of the King of heaven. He would serve the Lord with undivided heart; he would meet the trials of his lot with fortitude and perform every duty with fidelity. One day’s experience had been the turning point in Joseph’s life. It’s terrible calamity had transformed him from a petted child to a man, thoughtful, courageous, and self-possessed.” PP 214.
The Lord hath always worked out His purposes for our good.
"We have many things to remind us of our need of chastisement....We need these misfortunes, else they would not have been permitted to come. The words are spoken “Well done, good and faithful servant,” not “Well done, good and successful servant.” UL 289....
I gave out some hymns and few SOP books to some young girls who are teen's.  The printer needs a drum to do a more clean (printing) job, may God touch someone to come to our rescue.
If uninterrupted we may have a Camp Meeting at ____ at the beginning of the month of December 2021. Pray with us that God may accomplish His purpose and plan for our country.....
Thanks a lot for the support. During this hard times this support has touched many families. May the Possessor (of) all bless you, even the One who blessed Abram...
I remain yours in the blessed Saviour.  B.K., Uganda.

FROM ZAMBIA, CENTRAL AFRICA

Dear Elder Bob,
     Psalm 23.
I write to report to you how the missionary work has been going on for the past few months. I was invited twice at an SDA church in ____ District at ____ church for Bible studies, I had traveled there and I carried SOP books like DA, PP, PK, SC and GC. I had bought over 88 copies and small books from LTBL which brother ____ and I have been reprinting for distributions. By God's grace I conducted Bible studies and gave out these prophecy books and booklets. From this services the church leaders asked me to attend the choir program where they will be producing DVDs for songs. An still waiting for the invitation and am praying for the Lord to open means for transport funds. Many members in this SDA church did not have any idea on these prophecy books and even on Revelation 13. Many members have a lot of questions on COVID-19 with it's vaccines and what to do.
Secondly, we had our mini Camp Meeting in the same country site area we usually have and another international leaders four days meeting to share the word of God. This year has been very difficult for us to gather in many numbers due to COVID-19 regulations and rules that has been put across. I praise God for few printed materials which had and we had sent them in few areas for distributions. As for now we have no support that has come up to help us print more books and booklets. By Jesus's grace we are humbly request support to enable us reprint more silent preachers (books, booklets and tracks) (and) even for maintenance of brother ____ Risograph printing machine so that we can continue our work.
Thirdly, the Medical Missionary work has not been in full work due to lacking of herb, nature juice and other supplements needed to run this Natural Health Clinic. Nevertheless, I have help many using ginger drink juice. Especially those who had signs of COVID-19 cases, they really benefitted, this includes my family and myself. It is with this good results from ginger that has inspired me to plant 3 lines (150M X 50M) of ginger so that I may use much of it to powder and juice for natural treatment. On this point I humbly request support to help me buy a Ginger Juice Maker machine to help me produce more juices or finder drinks which is on higher demand here. Many of our members and other people are asking on how to go about with these vaccines issues, whether to get or not. I have received good information on how to use and what type of herbs to use to clean the blood after getting in case. But I need the juice maker big machine to use to make these drinks. Pray with me so that the Lord may provide this machine.
There is more I can do to help cure and prevent some of those diseases. May those whom the Lord has blessed with means help us to finish the Medical Missionary work.
Thank you and may the Lord of mercy bless us in these last days. More in the other coming report. Amen.
B.M., Zambia.

FROM ZIMBABWE, SOUTHERN AFRICA

Dear elder Bob.
I hope I find you well elder and the church. I am well in the Lord and I continue to be blessed each passing day. I finished my mission in the ____ Province late in August and without losing much time I resorted back to ____ Province where I had raised a church. My family is in the ____ Province and although I had gone back home I had thought that it was only to last for a very short period since the infant church I had left in ____ still needed attention and to guard the flock from the Devil. But it was not to be because of the national Lock Downs that went all the way since June until late August. Besides the Lock Downs, I had gone to prepare for the trip to Namibia where I was supposed to attend their annual camp meeting in August. But the meeting was later postponed to December due to the effect of the pandemic and some various reasons, I still need to attend the meeting the Lord willing and therefore I still need your support towards the end of the year.
After my return to ____ Province, I soon learnt that the Lord is so gracious that the little flock I had left behind was still striving to work in order to be among the 144000 in all their efforts. But after two weeks the lay pastor of SDA church came to visit some of our members to make a counter effort against our work. I warmly received him when he came to me too, and we talked much with regards to the condition of the church and that its high time he is supposed to separate from the apostate church, but later he )said he would( decide to leave. I gave him the two booklets; The Image of the Beast and the Transmutation of the Three Angels ‘ Messages. The third material I gave him was the tabloid entitled “The New World Order.
It did not last a week )when( I began to receive messages of threats from the SDA church. I was troubled that it was the same person I had held a conversation barely a week ago. I decided to go about the members of the church in order to seek the Lord in prayer for all the threats that I had received. I thank God that the little church is well grounded in the truth for this time and almost all the members were declaring to stand for the truth if the worst comes to the worst. Yesterday I heard that one of our members was visited by the elders of the SDA Church in an attempt to bring confusion, but they were gently repulsed back. ]Editor’s Note: Praise the Lord![
Basically this is what I have to report on. I therefore want to categorically state and report that I have once again plunged into an open battle with the enemy. I plead for your prayers in order to withstand the wiles of the Devil.
May my living God richly bless you my brother and your precious family.
Yours in Christian love, B.N., Zimbabwe.
