The first interpretation which is backed up by inspiration is that each name of these 7 churches represents a different period in the time extending from the Christian church down through to the second coming; and that it is only the church name that represents each period, not the message to the church. We also found that inspiration establishes that God has faithful souls all over the earth; that His true church is made up of individuals, not groups; and that God would have His people today unite together in church capacity in order to bring about the love and unity necessary to perfect character, and to let the world see that God has indeed sent Jesus Christ to save them from sin.

In the second interpretation which is backed up by inspiration we learned that the messages of the 7 churches do not apply to the corporate body or to the denominational church itself, but it applies directly to the individual Christian believer; that these 7 messages are not limited to any particular time period, but are all applicable today. We also learned that only those Christians who exhibit the characteristics of either the message of Smyrna or of Philadelphia will be saved, while any of those exhibiting the characteristics of any of the other 5 church messages must repent and overcome these or they will be condemned; and that the Synagogue of Satan represents professed Adventists who have fallen away from the 3 angels’ messages.

Thus not only can individual Christians manifest 7 different characteristics in their Christian walk, but also groups of Christians and churches can manifest 7 different conditions symbolized by these messages to the churches. So in this third inspired interpretation, it is not the individual Christian that is the focus, but groups of Christians and church denominations.

“Christ is spoken of as walking in the midst of the golden candlesticks. Thus is symbolized His relation to the churches. He is in constant communication with His people. He knows their true state. He observes their order, their piety, their devotion. Although He is high priest and mediator in the sanctuary above, yet He is represented as walking up and down in the midst of His churches on the earth....

“Christ is represented as holding the seven stars in His right hand. This assures us that no church faithful to its trust need fear coming to nought, for not a star that has the protection of Omnipotence can be plucked out of the hand of Christ.”Acts of the Apostles, p 586.

“‘Who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks’ (Rev. 2:1). This Scripture shows Christ's relation to the churches. He walks in the midst of His churches throughout the length and breadth of the earth. He watches them with intense interest to see whether they are in such a condition spiritually that they can advance His kingdom. Christ is present in every assembly of the church.” Testimonies, vol 6, p 418-419.

So while it may be true that in some of the time periods the particular church conditions for that name could also be seen, yet these conditions are not limited to these 7 different time periods as many have been taught. These 7 different church messages apply to all the different groups of Christians and church denominations in the world. Thus any one of these 7 messages can represent the condition of any group or church denomination existing today, and not just one particular church condition.

This would mean that the condition of Ephesus can be seen today being manifested by various groups and churches, and not just the condition of Laodicea! So even though we are in the time period represented by the name of Laodicea – “judging the people”, yet it is not only the condition of Laodicea that can be manifested by different groups and churches today.

But this is not what many believe. Many have been taught to believe that since we are in the time period represented by the name of Laodicea, which began on October 22, 1844 and continues till the end of time, then the message to Laodicea is also limited to this same time period, and thus no other church condition can be seen today, but only that which is represented by Laodicea.

For instance: many believe, especially SDAs, that the time for the Philadelphian message to the church to be seen among God’s people was between 1798 and October 22, 1844, and after that time no Philadelphian message to the church is applicable. Yet, listen to what inspiration states:

“After the passing of the time of expectation, in [October 22] 1844, Adventists still believed the Saviour's coming to be very near; they held that they had reached an important crisis, and that the work of Christ as man's intercessor before God, had ceased. Having given the warning of the Judgment near, they felt that their work for the world was done, and they lost their burden of soul for the salvation of sinners, while the bold and blasphemous scoffing of the ungodly seemed to them another evidence that the Spirit of God had been withdrawn from the rejecters of his mercy. All this confirmed them in the belief that probation had ended, or, as they then expressed it, ‘the door of mercy was shut.’

“But clearer light came with the investigation of the sanctuary question. Now was seen the application of those words of Christ in the Revelation, addressed to the church at this very time: ‘These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and no man shutteth, and shutteth and no man openeth; I know thy works; behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.’ [Revelation 3:7, 8.] [NOTE: What church is being addressed by these words after October 22, 1844? Was it the church of Laodicea? No, it was the church of Philadelphia! Continuing:] Here an open as well as a shut door is brought to view. At the termination of the 2300 prophetic days in 1844...Christ had ended one part of his work as our intercessor, to enter upon another portion of the work; and he still presented his blood before the Father in behalf of sinners. ‘Behold,’ he declares, ‘I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.’” Spirit of Prophecy, vol 4, p 268-269 (Great Controversy, p 429-430).

So the message to the church of Philadelphia came into effect after the termination of the 2300 day/year prophecy: not before, but after! Thus the time for the Philadelphian message did not end by October 22, 1844 as many SDAs have been taught for generations, but it began on October 22, 1844. And this Philadelphian message will continue to be applicable, and not come to an end, until Christ’s work in the Most Holy Place is finished and that door is no longer open. Christ will keep those represented by the Philadelphian message “from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth”, and then He will come and take them home.

Now this brings us to another point: What if a group or church denomination were manifesting the characteristics that made it apparent that the Laodicean message applied to them, and then they repented and overcame that Laodicean condition; would the message of Laodicea continue to apply to them? Many would say yes. But the correct answer is no. This is because a group of Christians and a church can change their position out of Laodicea and into another church condition.

So if a group of Christians or a church overcame their Laodicean condition, then they would no longer be in that position that made the Laodicean message apply to them. But they would now be in another church condition, and hopefully one that receives no condemnation – such as that of Smyrna or Philadelphia. As this is true, then no group and no church is forced to remain in the Laodicean condition, but they can repent and overcome it, and get out of this condemned position!

Now this brings us to another point. It is extremely important to understand that it is not the particular group or church denomination itself that represents one of these 7 churches, but it is the condition of one of these 7 churches that can apply to these groups or denominations. It is urgently necessary that all understand this point. It is not that a particular group or church denomination can claim to be the church of Ephesus, but it is the condition of Ephesus that can apply to that particular group or church denomination because they are manifesting the same condition as Ephesus.

There are groups and denominations today in the condition of Ephesus, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Laodicea, etc., because their fruits make it very apparent. But just because a group or church denomination manifests the Laodicean condition does not make them become the Laodicean church of Revelation 3! Yet the SDA church claims to be the Laodicean church itself!

"...in the case with the Laodicean Church, as a church, is different, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The last church will not be spewed out; it will not be rejected; it will go through triumphantly." Review, November 9, 1939.

"...[God's SDA] church is Laodicea which undeniably has its problems. But no less sure is God's offered remedy...The promise that Christ at His coming will ‘present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing.’" Adventist Review, March 7, 1991, p 10.

“Today we hesitate to claim we’re the remnant; but as for Laodicea, that’s us! Us alone!...No other Christian group vies with us for the dubious privilege of being identified with it....claiming exclusive rights to Laodicea is not politically incorrect. So, unchallenged, we’ve become anchored in the view that Seventh-day Adventists are the sole group envisioned in the apocalyptic concept of that term.” Adventist Review, August 28, 2008, p 5.

"This church to which we belong will emerge a victorious company to stand some day on the sea of glass....Adventism is destined to triumph gloriously....They [God's people] will patiently watch and pray until God in His own time and in His own way purifies His church...The church will fulfill its prophetic role and will triumph. Let us stay with the church so that we can share in that victory." Messenger, October, 1994, p 11.

Now, why would the SDA church claim to be the Laodicean church of Revelation 3 in the first place? It is so that they can then claim that they are the very last church of God, and then lead people to also believe that since Laodicea is the last church listed of the 7, then there will be no other groups or churches of God that will be seen before Christ comes! With this claim, the SDA church gains leverage with which to deceive more people into believing that they must take their chances within the SDA Laodicean church, no matter how corrupt or apostate she becomes, because God is forced to save this church since there are no other churches beyond Laodicea!

No where, and I repeat: no where throughout the entire Spirit of Prophecy does it mention even one time that the SDA church is the Laodicean church itself! No where in the entire 50,000 or so inspired pages does it even intimate that the SDA church is the Laodicean church – or the very last church before the second coming! The only thing that inspiration declares at least 40 times is that the Laodicean “message” or the Laodicean “condition” applies to the SDA church or people, but not that the SDA church has become the Laodicean church itself!

To further back up this fact, inspiration reveals that it was not just the message of Laodicea that applied to the SDA church, as some want you to believe in the hardest way. But if you will do some research, you will find at least 7 inspired statements declaring that the message of Sardis applied to the SDA church or people at the time it was written (Note: you can click here for the Handout which has all these references). Here is just one of these statements:

“I am instructed to say that these words are applicable to Seventh-day Adventist churches in their present condition....Unless there is a reconversion, there will soon be such a lack of godliness that the Church will be represented by the barren fig tree. Great light has been given to her. She has had abundant opportunity for bearing much fruit. But selfishness has come in, and God says, ‘I will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.’” Review and Herald, February 25, 1902.

So there are at least 30 inspired statements declaring that the SDA church or people were in the condition of Ephesus at that time! Now, have any of you been made aware of these Ephesus statements before today? Probably not. All you hear about is how the Laodicean condition applies to the SDA church and people! But since all these Ephesus statements are amazingly being ignored or cast aside, while the statements about Laodicea are being made to appear as the only ones which apply to the church, you can understand that a grand and masterful deception has and is still being practiced upon our people!

Now here is another fact even beyond what has already been shared. If you continue to research, you will discover at least 5 inspired statements declaring that the message of Ephesus, as well as just one inspired statement declaring that the message of Sardis, applied to the SDA church or people at the same exact time that the message of Laodicea applied as well! (click here for the Handout). Now that is quite revealing! Two different church messages and conditions applying to the SDA church or people all at the same time! Here is just one of these statements:

“To the church of the present day this message is sent. I call upon our church members to read the whole of the third chapter of Revelation, and to make an application of it. The message to the church of the Laodiceans applies especially to the people of God to-day. It is a message to professing Christians who have become so much like the world that no difference can be seen.

But if you thought that applying 2 church conditions to the SDA church at the same time was quite revealing, what would you think if more than 2 church conditions were applied to the church at the same time? There is just one such statement I found where inspiration applies the condition of Ephesus, Laodicea and also Sardis to the SDA church or people all at the same time! So three different church messages and conditions were applied by inspiration to the SDA church or people all at the same time! You can find this amazing quote in Review and Herald, February 25, 1902!

So it is not the truth at all to believe that the SDA church is the Laodicean church, and it is not the truth at all to believe that the SDA church can only manifest the Laodicean condition. But it is the absolute truth to believe that whatever fruits or spiritual condition a group or church body manifests will plainly indicate which of these 7 church conditions and messages would apply to them. And if more than just one condition is plainly being manifested, then more than just one church message can apply at the same time! So in other words, it is just like what Christ said about 2000 years ago: “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:20).

Since this third correct interpretation for these 7 church conditions and messages shows that they apply to all of the groups and church denominations in the whole world today, then is the following theory correct that is put forth by SDAs that only the SDA church can manifest the Laodicean condition, while none of the other churches can? The answer is no.

“The warning for the last church also must be proclaimed to all who claim to be Christians. The Laodicean message, like a sharp, two-edged sword, must go to all the churches...It is our work to proclaim this message. Are we putting forth every effort that the churches may be warned?” Testimonies, vol 6, p 77.

As this is true, then no one needs to be deceived by the bold and presumptuous statements of SDA leaders, Independent Ministries and ministers, and even some in our separated ranks, that the SDA church is Laodicea and thus the last church until Christ comes. Because this specious deception and false doctrine does not have any foundation in either the Bible or the Spirit of Prophecy. This erroneous belief is solely founded upon a false theory which originated in the mind of Satan in order to keep people from leaving a corrupt and worm-eaten denomination that is destined for destruction.

In like manner, no one needs to be deceived by the bold and presumptuous statements of SDA leaders, Independent Ministries and ministers, and even some in our separated ranks, who declare that there is no other group or church which God will raise up after the Laodicean SDA denomination. Because this specious deception and false doctrine also does not have any foundation in either the Bible or the Spirit of Prophecy.

But sadly, this particular false doctrine is leading many of God’s precious separated people to believe that even though they have left the apostate SDA church, yet they are not to organize together or unite themselves into one church body, but just continue to be independent atoms from each other. And some people, even among us, carry this particular doctrine one step further and try to scare God’s separated people into believing that if they do organize themselves into another church body, then they would be in apostasy from the truth of God! Thus many of our precious separated brothers and sisters will have nothing to do with efforts made to unify together – even though God Himself is calling for His people to unite together as one! It is as if our separated people are more interested in following the commandments of men, instead of following the commandments of God!

But since these no-unity doctrines and no-organizing commands are indeed being promoted among God’s separated people today, are these really the truth? Let us examine the one quote these individuals use over and over again as their support statement for such a belief.

“The Lord has declared that the history of the past shall be rehearsed as we enter upon the closing work. Every truth that He has given for these last days is to be proclaimed to the world. Every pillar that He has established is to be strengthened. We cannot now step off the foundation that God has established. We cannot now enter into any new organization; for this would mean apostasy from the truth. --Manuscript 129, 1905.” Selected Messages, book 2, p 390.

Many no-unity and no-organizing advocates really believe that this quote completely backs up their position, and will boldly state: “See, Ellen White herself plainly stated that if we enter into, or form any new church organization, then we would be in apostasy from the truth.”

But who was Ellen White warning in 1905 not to step off the foundation of the truth already established and enter into or form a new church organization? Was she warning those people who might choose to separate themselves from the apostate SDA church? Or was she warning those in the SDA church itself? Ellen White plainly states who she was warning!

“The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath, of course would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be build on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure.

“Who has authority to begin such a movement? We have our Bibles. We have our experience, attested to by the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit. We have a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we not repudiate everything that is not in harmony with this truth?...

“I am instructed to say that those who would tear away the foundation that God has laid are not to be accepted as the teachers and leaders of His people. We are to hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.” Letter 242, October, 1903, Battle Creek Letters, p 81-82, (see also Selected Messages, book 1, p 204-206 & Special Testimonies, Series B#7, p 39-42).

So who was behind this great reformation from God and His foundation of truth towards false principles and errors? Satan. And where was he trying to get this false reformation to occur in? Was it among God’s separated people? No, it was “among Seventh-day Adventists”. And if this great false reformation would occur among SDAs what would happen? The SDA leaders would engage in a “process of reorganization” that would continue until “a new organization would be established”. And what would be the end result? The whole SDA structure, along with all connected with it, would be swept away!

Now when was this warning testimony written? October, 1903. And when was the warning testimony written about not entering into a new organization or it would be apostasy from the truth? 1905. So it is clear that Ellen White was not warning those who would be forced to separate from the SDA church because of its apostasy, that they could never form themselves into another church organization after God’s order. But she was plainly warning the leadership of the SDA church in 1903 and then again in 1905 that if they chose to follow Satan’s reformation and entered into a new organization, that this act “would mean apostasy from the truth.”

Sadly, the SDA church leadership rejected this warning, embraced this satanic reformation, and over the decades have successfully reorganized the entire SDA church until a new organization has been fully entered into and established which is founded upon the sandy foundation of false principles and Satanic errors, and this apostate church will indeed be swept away along with all those who remain connected with her. If you would like proof of this, please see the book, “The Abomination of Desolation and Church History”.

Since this great apostasy of the SDA church from God to Satan has already occurred, God is today awakening more and more SDAs to this sad fact, and is leading them to separate from this apostate church in order to save their lives. Yet God is not wanting His separated people to remain separated from each other, but is leading them to unite and organize together in loving unity as one people so that we may perfect our characters, and hasten His return by revealing to the world that God has indeed sent His Son Jesus to save them from their sins. But at the same time, Satan is intensely active to try and prevent the unifying of God’s people into one body and is using any false doctrine or false theory and commandments of men as he can. The Devil will use anyone he can possibly deceive to be his agents and mediums in promoting his false doctrines, his deceptive theories and man-made commands – and sadly, he is even using some among us!

So this belief, that the SDA church is the Laodicean church and the last organized church of God until the second coming, and thus no one else is to organize together or they would be in apostasy from the truth, is clearly seen to be founded upon misunderstanding, is being twisted into falsehood, and thus it has no basis or foundation whatsoever in the truth. Yet this false doctrine is continuing to be promoted, and thus many of our precious people are continuing to be prevented from uniting and organizing together into one body in order to fulfill Christ’s prayer of John 17.

I earnestly pray that not a single one of our separated people will continue to be deceived by this false doctrine – even if it comes from another separated brother, sister, minister or Ministry! I also earnestly pray that any of those among us who continue to teach and preach such a deceptive theory will wake up and stop allowing themselves to be used by the Devil as his agents and mediums to spread division and dissension among your own people. And woe be unto you if you continue in this deception!

So this third interpretation which is backed up by inspiration, is that these 7 church conditions and messages are seen applying today to all of the groups and church denominations in the whole world. We also learned that even though we are in the time period for the name of Laodicea, yet the message to the Philadelphian church is also applicable today; that if a group or church overcame the condition of Laodicea, then they would no longer be Laodicea, but would be in another condition; that a group or church – including the SDA church – can manifest more than just one of these church conditions at the same time; and that there is no group or church that can represent any of these 7 churches itself – including the Laodicean church, but can only have the message to the particular church apply to them depending on what condition they are manifesting.

We also learned that since the SDA church is not the Laodicean church itself, and thus not the last organized church of God before the second coming of Christ, then it would not be displeasing to God and would not be apostasy from His truth, if those who have chosen to separate themselves from all the apostate and corrupt Babylonian churches, including the SDA church, should unite and organize themselves into a church body – especially since it is clear from inspiration that God desires His people to do this in these last days!

Now for the big controversial question: Is Laodicea the last church listed in the book of Revelation? Does inspiration point out that there is another group or church of God after Laodicea? Even though many may not believe this, and will try with all their might and ability to deny this, the correct answer to this solemn question is YES!

"Every opportunity should be improved to extend the truth to other nations. This will be attended with considerable expense, but expense should in no case hinder the performance of this work. Means are of value only as they are used to advance the interest of the kingdom of God. The Lord has lent men means for this very purpose, to use in sending the truth to their fellow men." Thank you so much for the latest Newsletter (Nov - Dec 08) that I have just received. I also thank you for the four DVDs that you sent to the Zimbabwean home churches through brother ____. So far I have watched and listened to the sermon on the Ten Virgins parable. I have been helped a lot through listening to this sermon/lesson and now have a clear perception of the parable. I hope to pass on the DVD to friends of mine who are still with the denominational churches.

I take this opportunity to write this e-mail. For almost two months I have never been able to communicate due to my hectic schedule. This was because of too much working. Last month I was called to go to the Western parts of Tanzania for emergency. The brethren there needed some books/booklets. I had no booklets/books with me by then. I went to ____, the ____ of Tanzania. There I made the arrangements for producing the booklets since the last stock was finished. I had to spend 14-17 hours a day working. After the job had been done, which took almost 3 weeks; I packed 20 copies for each booklet. I had more than 20 titles of booklets and each title I packed 20 booklets. I carried a total of 480 booklets in two boxes which were very heavy. On the way, the bus had some mechanical problems. Instead of traveling for two days; I spent three days. By the time I arrived here; I was totally exhausted. The whole stock of two boxes was taken by the brethren here since they were waiting for them. Today, Sunday, I am planning to travel back to ____ and resume my normal routine. Next week, I shall be sending another two boxes of booklets to this Western part, ____ since they are at high demand....

As of now the PRESENT TRUTH has circulated in many parts of Tanzania. It has penetrated even to some places where I do not plan to go. Many people, regardless of their poverty, have donated what they had for printing these booklets. Today, we made a decision that any time a booklet is taken; it should be replaced by printing another. There is an expectation of producing 20,000 booklets in January alone. [Editor’s Note: May God be praised!] In ____ region, 500 copies of booklets will be ferried here by the end of ____ 2009, since we expect to have an evangelistic effort, in ____...that is expected to attract more than 5,000 people here in the town of ____ which has more people who have left the harlot SDA Church all over Tanzania.

Thank you Bro Bob for your faithfulness and love for souls so evident in your messages of warning, and consistency in calling God’s people from apostasy (sin & sinners) to our loving Saviour and Redeemer. May He be honored and glorified forever.

I am sorry for the delay in replying, but many thanks to you for the support money and the DVD’s I have received, and it’s given right to the hands of ____. He was so happy when I called to tell him that the DVD’s are here, they came straight away to pick it up. He came with a guy who was baptized just a week ago, by this guy who was running a Revelation Seminar in the Civic Centre.

The young boy who came with ____ was telling us that about more than 100 people were baptized, but most of them were Seventh Day Adventists, and the message, is just like what you have said in the News Letter - you shall know them by their message they preach. He is preaching about [that] the church is corrupt - even worse than Babylon, but you can never leave the church. “What a pity!” And ____ has made a chart [with some] small pamphlets to distribute [about] where do they stand [either with Christ or with the corrupt SDA church, but cannot be both at the same time], and that’s how this young guy came to know ____ and the [Present Truth] message, and he believes that this is the truth and he’s going along with ____ now.

Well, as for me I have been distributing the booklets Latter Rain and The Loud Cry (Fijian). Two families are reading the books now, and there’s a lady who have asked for some books. She likes to read E.G. White books, so I gave her some books like G.C., D.A. People now are coming for the booklets. So I have to make more copies.

My grandson has been helping in distributing tracts in ____ and ____, and he’s been planning to go out to the Western [part of the country] to distributes tracts there. I am thankful to the Lord in His ways of making the work move forward, cause this grandson of mine is 22 years old now, and [is] giving his life to help in the work of God, I thank God Almighty. [Editor’s Note: Praise God indeed!]

So school breaks in one week from now, and ____ and the family are planning to spend the weekend here at home. So we are looking forward [to that]. All the group will be at home on Sabbath, and I will be relating again to you the outcome. So until then lets be faithful in serving our Lord and praying for each other.

October 9th was our meeting of acquaintance. [But] brother ____ was sick, [and] he didn't attend the meeting, but it was successful. We agreed through the word of God that we have many lessons to learn and many to unlearn. We agreed both that if any had a teaching unsustained by the law and the testimony, that [that] teaching should be done away with. We never wanted to rush on things, we want to give God His place to write us in the platform of truth. Pray for us as we endeavour for that unity.

It was another exciting moment for the SDR folks in the closing month of 2008. People with different backgrounds all came from diverse locations. Representatives from the tiny Islands of the sea and the seashore, up on the mountains, hills and valleys and from the shady forests, highways and byways, towns and cities all came together for one purpose. And that is to seek the Lord and waiting for His blessed promise.

It’s been a great pleasure to meet many of our fellow workers who are sacrificially working for the Great Master in the gospel fields far and near. Our camp meeting goes very well with over 1,100 folks attend the camp meeting. At the end of the meeting on Sabbath, 17 dear souls went into the water of baptism.

In the evangelistic fields, I traveled within the country [PNG] in many areas by air, boat, car and foot track up into the mountains, ravines and valleys reaching out [to] both established and new centers, doing ground works as well as public and church evangelistic series, training the young lay workers, conducting baptisms and established the home churches in the last 10 years. Six to seven large meetings I usually hold each year, plus church revival meetings, public streets preaching and nature camps as well.

Way back in those past years, I remembered some difficulties and painful experiences that I came through. In some particular areas especially up in the Highlands Region of New Guinea, devil ferociously attacking God’s work through human agents, persecuting innocent people, burning down the churches, and in other parts of the areas [the] work came to halt for fear of demonic people.

But I always thank the Almighty God that He never fails, but miraculously He leads me all the way through such pathways under His wonderful protection. And now those years have gone away and we are already at the entrance of the new year. It is time now to begin the new job for the King above.

When the new year sprang, my wife and I took the first journey for the first Projector Slide evangelistic meeting at ____ in ____ on the 3rd of January, 2009. Monday morning at an early hour we load our meeting equipments and bags on the hired 4x4 vehicle. It would to take four separate journeys to reach the destination...[18 hours of total travel!]

We took the first trip as we left home and after 10 minutes drive, the vehicle climb up the high mountain and it just about to reach the top, but unfortunately the car broke in half and falls apart! Driver and his crew in cabin with two front wheels got off their way, leaving 18 passengers with our cargoes on the back trail with the two back wheels [which then] turn over.

My wife broke her left hand. Projector machine completely damaged when it hit on the stone and rolls 30 meters on [down] the road. All-in-one pack PA system and Generator got the minor damage and needs repairs. [Editor’s Note: We are keeping you and your precious wife in our prayers, and would appreciate any donations to help with the damaged equipment as well as with the hospital bill.]

May this letter reaches you in good health through the guidance of our loving Saviour Jesus Christ. I'm so sorry that I wasn’t able to write you for more than a month now. There just had sad things that happened in our families. My grandfather, and also my husband's grandmother, both died in the same week. But we are all ok. We trusted the providence of God. But you know before my grandfather died, he already joined in devotional worship and Sabbath worship. My grandfather is a Catholic, but we keep on sharing with him the truth.

We are hoping that God will wake him up in the first resurrection. Also before that, we went to ____ city, we spend 2 Sabbaths there with a brother who is also a Present Truth believer, but he was with the other group before. We shared to him our stands and he is willing and open to study with us. He invited also his relatives to hear what we were sharing. We are planning to went [go] back there and again meet this people.

As [I] came back [from a trip] I was visited by brothers ____ and ____. It has been long, and some almost abandoned the Church. [But we] had good a time [discussing together]. They asked questions relating to faith, [and] it was good that answers were given.

I could not make the visit [like I planned] as I wrote, one of my brothers in the flesh lost a child and he and others needed my presence and comfort, and [I] was asked to conduct the funeral service which I humbly agreed. The subject [I talked on was] “Death and Its After Effects”. In summary, [I spoke on the different beliefs of death from various groups, which included] the cultural aspect, expense met, historical aspect of death more so [from] those great persons of old [such as] the Egyptians, Babylonians, Mayans and Aztec, [and] to crown it all [off, I ended with] the Christian view of death - both [the] distorted [view] and the [correct] biblical [view]. It was a blessing to share the gospel with my home people, who would not give heed because of prejudice, [but] “all things work for good to them who love the Lord”. Before going to our mourning beds which were papyrus mats, they asked me to pray, which is sign that heaven had started a good work on their hearts....

Thanks for the support and P.A. funds even amidst trying financial recession of America and the Global financial disaster. This reminds me of Luke 21:25 …and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, men’s hearts failing them for fear, and looking after those things which are coming on the earth. Financial collapse of nations, the same polices that brought the Roman kingdom down, are fast working [in] the new nations of the earth. For the powers of heaven shall be shaken....we have [also] been experiencing deadly winds and hailstones which have left most people’s roofs open and the crops laying on the ground. A sign of difficult times before us in the near future. The good Lord may be speaking to the sojourners of the earth....

It has [been] a tough time. Lots of death here [and] there from one home to another. My aunt who was suffering from cancer passed away [and was] buried on Thursday 27th Nov 2008, and [another on] Saturday 28th, and also buried a neighbor’s son today 1st Dec 2008. All this calls for financial responsibilities, and [extra] time to attend [the funerals]...At least in these experiences we have been able to bury the dead, but in the future it may be hard to do so....

The world is spread with evil and untold difficulties. There are many hungry souls and naked people, like the war in Congo is leaving many displaced people. The war which had raged our country has left most of the Northern part and far East in shambles....

I got some Steps to Christ which I have been sharing with those the Spirit impresses that I give the books. Most of them have [are] very appreciative. Brother ____ took some tracts and booklets [and] he was planning to visit some refuges from Congo (DRC).

Sr ____ has been down for quiet long, [and even] has reaching near death experiences [was close to death several times], but the Lord has been good that her life is still preserved. I’m also experiencing dizziness and chest pain and a lot of discomfort.

Once again thanks for your prayers. [Also] the things that used to disturb at night are almost gone now [and] we sleep with comfort. This how the Lord is simply answers our earnest requests, we hardly know what hour He reacts or answers, [but] we find ourselves enjoying the blessing of deliverance from the powers that be, but we should never relax for the foe may be laying plan B. As the watch words of Christian [are] Pray, Watch and Work, thus we [need to] get going.

Thank you for the big support you sent for the family, and also for the Computer. I will have pressed a good order from a white man who brings almost new laptops from South Africa and it will be in early Jan. 2009. I will sent the receipt after we have received the computer.

Br. Bob, just wanted to let you know that we have finally shifted back to ____, and the Homes Churches are happy, so as they know how I had big influence with the SDAs and the work [there]. More in the coming report. We really thanked the great God with the support for house rent which was supposed to be paid for three months in ____. We are living in a [house with] no power, water, floor and unplastered house in ____ which ____ relative SDA member has surrendered for a year till we build ours. The money you sent for rent, we have used it to purchase a plot to build our permanent house. It is true that we do not have the money to build a house, but we have are praying that His will be done so that we stop the system of renting that has consumed [most of] our money for the past 11yrs. Please, it is our humble prayer towards your family and other brethren that any contribution made towards this project will be highly appreciated. The plot is bare and [now] ready for the building programme to start.

Even though I can not forget my duty to the work of translation, I am still finding it very difficult to send to you finished tracts, and so I hope if I can still secure a simple computer I may well discharge of these duties as quickly as possible....
