THESE LAWS RESTORE HEALTH !

We cannot be too often reminded that health does not depend on chance. It is a result of obedience to law. This is recognized by the contestants in athletic games and trials of strength. These individuals make the most careful preparation. They submit to thorough training and strict discipline. Every physical habit is carefully regulated. They know that neglect, excess, or carelessness, which weakens or cripples any organ or function of the body would mean failure and defeat.
But of how much more importance is it for us to learn from this example of such carefulness in order to gain success in the conflict of life. It is not mimic battles in which we are engaged. We are waging a warfare upon which hang eternal results. We have unseen enemies to meet. Evil angels are striving for the dominion of every human being, and since time is short they are pulling out all the stops to try and gain our downfall.  And one of the most effective ways to ensure our defeat is to ruin our health!
It has been proven that there is a direct connection between our body and our mind.  Whatever injures our health, not only lessens physical vigor, but also weakens our mental and spiritual powers. Indulgence in any unhealthful practice makes it more difficult for us to discriminate between right and wrong, to discern between truth and error.  And indulgence in believing some false or fanatical doctrine makes us spiritually sick as well as mentally and emotionally imbalanced.  So not only do we need to be careful to maintain our physical health, but we also to be careful to maintain our spiritual health as well.
As this is true, God has mercifully given all human beings some simple natural and spiritual laws that are designed to help us maintain our complete health, and thus avoid becoming such an easy prey to the devil’s tricks.  First we well examine the laws of nature.

LAWS  OF  NATURE

We may give many causes for the suffering of disease in our world today, but the major cause is not following the laws of nature.  These natural laws deal with every aspect of our lives; from our bodies, our diet, as well as our environment.
But what are these laws? The simple laws of nature are these: Pure Air, Sunlight, Temperance, Rest, Exercise, Diet, Water, Trust.  These laws are nature’s true remedies.  So there are actually eight different laws of nature.
These natural laws can also be viewed as laws of health–or simple remedies which we can use to overcome sickness and disease and regain our health or maintain our health.  Every person should have a knowledge of these remedial agencies and how to use and apply them, not just to themselves, but to others as well.  Let us briefly examine each law of nature.

THE LAW OF AIR

Fresh pure air is an essential part of life.  We can live for weeks without food, days without water, but only minutes without air.  Every cell in our body requires oxygen in order to function, so you can understand that if the air we breath is not pure, then we force our body cells to function on this impure air. In fact, the American Lung Association has declared that about ½ of all illnesses are either caused or aggravated by polluted air!
Fresh air is the free blessing of Heaven, calculated to electrify the whole system.  Full, deep inspirations of pure air, not smog or smoke filled air, will fill the lungs with oxygen, and help to purify the blood. Air imparts to the blood a bright color and then the heart sends this life-giving current to every part of the body. Thus the circulation of the blood should not be hindered by tight clothing or bands, or by insufficient clothing to protect our arms and legs from the cold. Whatever hinders the circulation forces the blood back to the vital organs, producing congestion. This can result in causing us headache, cough, palpitation of the heart, or indigestion.
A good respiration soothes the nerves; it stimulates the appetite and renders digestion more perfect.  It also induces sound, refreshing sleep.  Yes, the benefits of fresh, pure air to our health cannot be underestimated.

THE LAW OF SUNLIGHT

Sunlight is one of nature's most healing agents. It is a very simple remedy to go outside and enjoy the rays of God's sunlight, or to open the curtains and beautify our homes, and gain the benefits from its presence.
Sunlight destroys bacteria, and thus can help prevent or heal infections.  Sunlight has shown a positive effect on the cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance of college aged men when tested.  Sunlight also showed a 30 – 40% decreased risk for breast cancer occurrence among women who were tested and who got at least 10-15 minutes of daily exposure.  It also has been shown to reduce blood pressure; decrease excess cholesterol; increases red and white blood cells; improves circulation, and even aids in weight loss.  And best of all, when unfiltered sunlight hits our skin, vitamin D is produced which is essential for calcium to be utilized by our system!  So direct sunlight exposure in moderation, and without sun screen or tanning oils, is indeed essential for good health.
Just as sunlight is essential to health and we should not hide ourselves away from its healing rays, so may we look up to Jesus–the “Sun of righteousness” and not hide ourselves away from Him, because He comes to us “with healing in his wings” (Malachi 4:2).  Jesus promises healing for every sin-sick soul.  Many who are dwelling in the dark shadow of sin and death need to realize that they have a hope for salvation if they would only turn their faces toward the Light of the world, for “in Him [is] life, and the life [is] the light of men” (John 1:4).  Yes, Jesus Christ is “the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world (John 1:9), and if you will choose to open your heart each day to receive the healing beams of His love and righteousness, you will indeed find the healing balm or medicine needed to change your life from bad to good.
As God has given you the sun–whose rays of light bring healing and warmth, so He has given you His Son Jesus–whose light of truth brings healing warmth to your souls.  God gave you both the sun and Jesus to be a joy and blessing, as well as for health and long life; and for those who accept Jesus as their Saviour–a never ending life!

THE LAW OF TEMPERANCE

The best condition of health largely depends on temperance.  Temperance means moderation and abstinence.  Moderation is to be in all areas affecting our daily lives–whether in work, eating, drinking, thinking, etc., and abstinence is to be in all areas which are harmful to health.
Temperance in diet is rewarded with mental and moral vigor; it also aids in the control of the passions. Overeating is especially harmful to those who are sluggish in temperament; these should eat sparingly and take plenty of physical exercise. There are men and women of excellent natural ability who do not accomplish half what they might if they would exercise self-control in the denial of appetite.
Some wish that an exact rule could be prescribed for their diet. They overeat, and then regret it, and so they keep thinking about what they eat and drink. But one person cannot lay down an exact rule for another. Everyone should use reason and self-control, and then act from principle.
We should be careful not to take upon ourselves burdens that others can and should bear. We should encourage a cheerful, hopeful, peaceful frame of mind for our health depends upon our so doing. The work that God requires us to do will not prevent our caring for our health. The more perfect our health, the more perfect will be our labor. When we overtax our strength and become exhausted, we are liable to catch a cold, and at such times there is danger of disease assuming a dangerous form. We must not presumptuously leave the care of ourselves with God, when He has placed that responsibility upon us.
With Adam and Eve, intemperate desire resulted in the loss of Eden. Temperance in all things has more to do with our restoration to Eden than many realize. Anything that lessens our physical health enfeebles our mind, and makes it less capable of discriminating between right and wrong.  We become less capable of choosing the good, and have less strength of will to do that which we know to be right.
Pointing to the self-denial practiced by the contestants in the ancient Greek games, the apostle Paul writes: "Every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: but I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." 1 Corinthians 9:25-27.

THE LAW OF REST

After a hard day at work, what can be sweeter than to rest your head on a soft pillow and sleep?  When we sleep, the activity of our body changes gears.  Certain areas of our brain switch off, while other areas turn on reorganizing the recent information gathered.  Instead of providing energy for work, the body systems repair any damage done during the day, replenishing the energy used and rejuvenating the system.  Nature will restore our vigor and strength while we sleep if her laws are not violated.  We cannot cheat on sleep for very long without sacrificing health.
Those who make great exertions to accomplish just so much work in a given time, and continue to labor when their judgment tells them they should rest, are never gainers. They are living on borrowed capital. They are expending the vital force which they will need at a future time. And when the energy they have so recklessly used is demanded, they fail for want of it.  It would be best to go to bed between 9-10 pm, because every hour of sleep gained before midnight is worth two hours of sleep after midnight.
Just as physical rest is necessary to be healthy, and without it we would soon die, so spiritual rest is just as essential for our well-being, and without it we will just as surely die–but an eternal death.  And only God alone can provide us this spiritual rest.
True spiritual rest is a rest from the guilt pressed upon us by our sins.  It is through Jesus Christ that you can be set free from this pressing guilt and escape the bondage of sin.
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?...For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:16, 23.

Our Saviour's words, "Come unto Me...and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28), are a prescription for the healing of physical, mental, and spiritual ills. Though men have brought suffering upon themselves by their own wrongdoing, Christ regards them with pity. In Him they may find help. He will do great things for those who rest in Him.
As God rested the seventh day after creating this world (see Genesis 2:2-3), so the same seventh day Sabbath is a weekly reminder for us today that Jesus is our Creator, as well as our Redeemer and Saviour from sin.  On the holy Sabbath hours of each Saturday, Jesus personally invites you to separate yourself from all earthly activities and cares so that you might enter into this special rest with Him.
“For he (God) spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works....There remaineth therefore a rest (Sabbath) to the people of God.  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.  Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” Hebrews 4:4, 9-11.

THE LAW OF EXERCISE

Daily exercise has been shown to be an excellent way to slow down the effect of aging on the body, and to enhance the quality of life.  The best form of exercise is walking, because all the organs of the body are brought into use. There is no exercise that can take the place of it. Walking one or more miles each day greatly improves the circulation of the blood. The action of the heart becomes more perfect, and with regular exercise of 10-15 minutes each day for six days of every week the heart will be strengthened to pump more volume of blood per beat, thus allowing it to rest longer between beats--which increases life. This activity also lessens the time it takes for the poisons and toxins to be eliminated from our system.
Nearly 1/3 of all impurities in our system are eliminated through the skin, and exercise allows the pores to open and discharge the impurities in the sweat. The lungs expand and strengthen and can throw off more poisonous gasses. With the increase of oxygen, the whole body system gains new vitality and becomes invigorated to overcome bad health.
Exercise is also important to digestion.  It can also help in preventing disease, such as cancer, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Also our immune system is strengthened and enhanced by daily exercise.  The lymphatic system is aided in the circulation of the lymph fluid from 5 to 15 times during vigorous exercise.
Exercise is free. As we partake of it, let us remember to give glory and praise to our Creator for the gift of life which He has given to each one.  Those who do not take time to exercise will have to take time for illness!  So let us, by all means, establish a regular time for walking or other forms of exercising, and thus aid our body in regaining or maintaining health.  That way we can not only live longer, but can also be free from sickness and pain which will increase our happiness.

THE LAW OF GOOD NUTRITION

Our bodies are built up from the food we eat. There is a constant breaking down of the tissues of the body from every movement we make, and this tissue breakdown is repaired from the food we eat.  Thus it is in our best interest to choose to eat only those foods that best supply the elements needed for building up the body. In this choice, appetite is not a safe guide. Often it demands food that impairs health and causes weakness instead of strength.
In order to know what are the best foods we must study God's original plan for man's diet. He who created man and who understands his needs appointed Adam his food (see Genesis 1:29, 3:18). So God provided grains, fruits, nuts, and vegetables as the best diet for us. These foods, prepared in as simple and natural a manner as possible, are the most healthful and nourishing. They impart a strength, a power of endurance, and a vigor of intellect that are not afforded by a more complex and stimulating diet.
Those who choose to go beyond God’s chosen diet and who add flesh meats into their meals, are but eating grains and vegetables second-hand; for the animal receives firsthand the greatest nutrition from these live foods. The life that was in the grains and vegetables has already been used up, and then from animals, fish or fowls, we receive what’s left over by eating their flesh. So you can see that it would be much to our advantage to get the life-giving benefits directly from the natural food that God provided, and not second-hand!
Flesh was never the best food–even in Noah’s time; but its use now is 10,000 fold more objectionable since disease in the animal kingdom is so rapidly increasing. Those who use flesh foods little know what they are eating. Often if they could see the animals, fowls, fish, etc., when living and know the quality of the meat they buy, prepare and then eat, they would turn from it with loathing. People are continually eating flesh that is filled with disease and cancerous germs. Thus cancer and other fatal diseases are communicated.  This is one reason why many in the meat processing industry are vegetarians!
Besides flesh foods being harmful to our health, far too much sugar is ordinarily used in food. Cakes, sweet puddings, pastries, jellies, jams, are active causes of indigestion. Especially harmful are the custards and puddings in which milk, eggs, and sugar are the chief ingredients. The free use of milk and sugar taken together should be avoided, because it ferments in the stomach and thus produces alcohol.  There have been cases where individuals have died of cirrhosis of the liver, a diseased condition wholly attributable to alcohol, yet they had never drunk liquor in their life!  It was found that their diet consisted of a lot of ice-cream and other milk-and-sugar combined deserts.
It is also vital to health that we have regularity in eating. There should be a specified time for each meal, generally no more than three meals a day. At each meal let everyone eat what their system requires, and then eat nothing more until the next meal. There are many who eat at irregular intervals, or snack in-between meals, not because their bodies need food, but because they have not sufficient strength of will to resist inclination. If we would eat at regular times and only of food that is simple and nutritious, we would not feel so great weariness nor suffer so much from sickness.
In all cases, whether in our own lives or in our family, let us educate the conscience, enlist the will, supply good, wholesome food to eat, and the change from a bad diet to a good one will be made easier, and the demand for harmful articles of food will soon cease.

THE LAW OF WATER

Pure, soft water is indeed a gift of God!  Water acts as a solvent, a medium of transportation, a temperature regulator, and a lubricant.  More than 60% of our body is made up of water.  Our blood, lungs, heart and kidneys are comprised of about 80% water.  Our brain, heart, nerves, liver, and skin about 70%.  So you can see that water plays a most important part in our health.
Not only this, but throughout each day we lose up to 80 oz of water, or the equivalent of 10 - 8 oz glasses (urination accounts for 44 oz; perspiration and respiration – 16 oz each; defecation – 4 oz).  But we only gain back about 24 oz from the food we eat.  So the amount of water we need to drink each day just to replenish the deficit of water is about 56 oz.  Thus we each need to drink at least 7 -8 oz glasses of water each day, and if we should not do so, then we will become dehydrated and suffer all kinds of problems, ranging from fatigue to poor digestion.  And beyond 10% body dehydration can lead to death.
In health and in sickness, pure water is one of heaven's choicest blessings. Its proper use promotes health. It is the beverage which God provided to quench the thirst of animals and man. Drunk freely, it helps to supply the necessities of the system and assists nature to resist disease. The external application of water is one of the easiest and most satisfactory ways of regulating the circulation of the blood.  Since impurities are constantly being thrown off from the body through the skin, its millions of pores are quickly clogged unless kept clean by bathing at least twice a week.
When God gave water to satisfy our thirst, He also used this precious gift to symbolize the importance of a spiritual life and relationship with Him.  Jesus Christ is indeed the “living water”, and His promise is to everyone that is thirsty: “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink” John 7:37.  As we need water to sustain our physical life, so each day we need Christ in our lives to re-create within us His likeness and character, and thus lead us to everlasting life.

THE LAW OF TRUST

In such a hectic world we live and work in, with all its pressures and deadlines, it can be very difficult to keep from getting tired, run-down, and stressed out.  Stress is any situation or action that puts extra pressure or intensity upon you–whether physical or mental in nature. Some of the symptoms of stress upon the body is usually an increase in blood pressure, breathing, perspiration, and heart beat.  But by far, worry is the most widely practiced of all the unnecessary stressful situations.  And worry, in the great majority of all cases, is absolutely unnecessary!
The direct opposite of worry is trust.  Trust means to have full confidence in something or in someone.  And it is interesting that the Bible has quite a lot to say regarding trust.  It states that we are not to place our trust in weapons or in wealth (Psalms 49:6-7), not in leaders (Psalms 146:3), not in men (Jeremiah 17:5), and not even in ourselves (Ezekiel 33:13).  But yet these are the very things which the majority of people place their trust in today.
But where should we place our trust?
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.  Trust ye in the Lord for ever; for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:3-4.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.

While it is quite natural for people to place their trust somewhere, how sad that so many place their trust in other areas except in the loving and trustworthy Saviour Jesus Christ.
“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.” Psalms 62:8.

Having trust in God, especially when we find ourselves afflicted by disease, can make all the difference–including in the amount of time involved in our recovery.  And our Saviour is indeed concerned with our health!
The desire of God for every human being is expressed in the words: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 2.
It is our loving heavenly Physician and compassionate Saviour who "forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies." Psalm 103:3-4.  Please do not let another day go by without accepting Him as your Friend and Saviour!

We have briefly examined these simple 8-laws governing our physical life, and in our next Newsletter we will examine the simple laws governing our spiritual life.

MINISTRY NEWS

The Lord is blessing our Bible Study Course outreach.  We have 46 precious souls enrolled in the USA, which includes 6 from prison.  We also have 37 enrolled from Foreign fields, which include 11 from non-African countries.  So the Lord has allowed us to send Bible Lessons to 83 precious souls, and we ask for your prayers to ascend for each and every one of these so that they will continue taking the lessons until completion when they can be baptized into the truth.

As you may know, Presents of God Ministry and our Ministry have been working on getting our present truth sermons from Video onto DVD!  For the last few years, one problem after another came up, but finally the Lord allowed us to get the right equipment, software, and to work out all the rest of the problems.  The following are all the sermons so far we have put onto DVD: "The Movement of the Angel of Revelation 18, parts 1 & 2"; "Christ vs the Churches"; "Is the Church Babylon?"; "Held Responsible and Accountable for Personal, Social and Corporate Sins"; "The Two Most Important Parable of Christ, part 1 - The Ten Virgin, part 2 - The Wheat and Tares"; "Transmutation of the Three Angels".  The next we are working on is "Bible History of Separation, parts 1, 2, & 3".  These DVDs are the same suggested donation price as the videos are, $15 each, or $20 for a 2-part set, or $30 for a 3-part set.

This Ministry has crossed another mile-stone in the area of publishing.  As of the month of October of this year, over 14.7 million pages of present truth have been printed through this Ministry!  May God be praised and exalted through all these silent preachers being distributed and read all over the world!  Our current total is 14,774,865 pages.  Please also keep in prayer for these materials to be translated into the languages of the world.  We currently have some of our materials translated into the following languages: French, Spanish, Dutch, Romanian, Indian (Tamil, Hindi, Kannadam), Chinese, Philippine (Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilonggo), Kiswahili, Ugandan, Fijian, Afrikaans, etc.

MINISTRY NEEDS

"Let There Be Light" Ministries is committed to the spreading of the full present truth gospel message worldwide, and has been doing so since 1986.  This Ministry has operating expenses covering the areas of: printing, publishing, and writing of present truth books, booklets, tracts, and other literature; video and audio taping, production, and distribution; supporting several ministers and workers in foreign Countries; mail order--both domestic and foreign; traveling to hold meetings--both locally, nationally, and internationally; answering correspondence and questions regarding the message of truth; offering National and International Bible studies; sending free present truth literature to contacts in many poor Countries; etc.
Your gracious prayers and support is greatly appreciated and needed.  Without the Lord's guidance, blessings, and your support, this Ministry could not continue to reach out worldwide with the precious message of Revelation 14:6-12 & 18:1-5.

May our God and Saviour continue to lead and guide all those who have helped us reach souls who sit in darkness with the precious light of gospel truth.  May our supporters remember that they share in each and every soul who has been reached by this Ministry and converted to the Lord and His present truth!

GENERAL FOREIGN MISSION WORK NEEDS

We are currently supporting several workers in many different Countries on a monthly basis.  We check into the economy of each area and supply a base support which is adequate depending on their situation, but not extravagant.  This base support is to ensure that the monthly needs of each worker and family is met for that month so that the worker may devote full time to the ministry work.  In addition to this, we are sending extra materials for evangelism, and money for printing, publishing, holding meetings, traveling, and other necessary areas in spreading the Present Truth in their Country.  And as the work extends, especially will the expenses for evangelism expand.  Whatever you can send to help in this necessary and vital area is greatly appreciated.
The work of spreading God's present truth is not to be limited, but must extend world-wide to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people before our Saviour can come (Matthew 24:14).  What better way of spreading the present truth gospel than by having workers who speak the native language, who reside in that particular Country, who can live and preach the truth, visit the interests in their homes, and spread the printed truth translated into their common language!
"Our publications should be printed in other languages, that foreign nations may be reached.  Much can be done through the medium of the press, but still more can be accomplished if the influence of the living preacher goes with our publications....The Lord has moved upon men of other tongues and has brought them under the influence of the truth, that they might be qualified to labor in His cause." Testimonies, vol 3, p 204-205.

Please financially help us to continue supporting our current ministers and workers on a consistent basis, so that the spreading of the truth will not be interrupted but can quickly lighten this dark world with the glory of God.
"Every opportunity should be improved to extend the truth to other nations.  This will be attended with considerable expense, but expense should in no case hinder the performance of this work.  Means are of value only as they are used to advance the interest of the kingdom of God.  The Lord has lent men means for this very purpose, to use in sending the truth to their fellow men."  Testimonies, vol 3, p 208.

Types of courses taught to the laymen were as follows; Personal Preparation, How to Outline the Sermon, Presentation and Pulpit Manner, Sermonizing and Evangelism, etc…Many of our young laymen require such training; there won’t be any success in spiritual growth. More over, the training has helped our laymen to preach confidentially and to win souls to know the present truth.
We had 15 participants who attend the training program....Pr ____ has organized our laymen to take part in Personal Ministries, Colporteur and Street Witnessing. Such courses are essential tools for our up and coming young preachers to faithfully carry out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

ONE-WEEK OUTREACH PROGRAM: The church has carried out evangelistic outreach program at ____ village from 23rd – 29th April. The program commenced from 6:30 – 8:30pm every night with heart touching massages presented by Pr ____. About 200 people attended the program each night.

Booklets about, Why Protestants Bowing To Pope, Image Of The beast, The True Church Of God and many prophecy tracts translated into Pidgin by Pr ____ were fairly distributed among the people. Those booklets were very useful and it supported the preaching. Many people who attended the program have learnt a lot about Bible prophesies presented by Pr ____. We have prayed to the Lord for the outreach program to be free from disturbances from rain and evil people and allow God for His guidance and directions to carry out the programs smoothly. We thank the Lord that He had blessed our meeting, all came well. We have sixteen new converts who came to worship with us on the Sabbath day. We believe that some more new converts are expected to join us for fellowship in the next Sabbath worship.

BAPTISMAL CLASS: ____ Seventh-Day Remnant Church has more than 20 candidates who have enlisted for baptism classes with Pr ____ as of 31st March, 2007. Most of them are converts from Sunday churches worshiping with us. We have discussed with Pr ____ in one of our meetings and proposed a one-week mini Loud Cry Camp in one of the city schools premises and baptize our candidates in September, 2007 during a school term break.

CONCLUSION: On behalf of ____ Seventh-day Remnant church group, we are thankful for Pr ____ for his time with us for the last 8 weeks. His stay with us has brought many improvements in our worship and spiritual development and has given confidence to all of us to be rooted firm in the Lord Jesus Christ the Rock of Ages. He has been encouraging us well to witnessing to others who do not know this present truth.  The morale of our laymen preachers has been boosted and they are looking forward to reach out the un-reach areas.
May God continue to bless you. Thank you.
E.D., elder of ____ SDR Church.

My beloved brethren and sisters, I hope you are all well in your respective areas of residence.
To those who managed to attend the just ended International Camp Meeting in Zimbabwe I sincerely hope that you all arrived safely and found your families well. We are well here.
The church here is exceedingly greatful to the Lord for His faithfulness and protection. We thank you brethren and sisters for exercising self denial by traveling all the way to this country for the International Camp Meeting. We did not expect such a resounding attendance from brethren from without the country. We received 16 individuals from Namibia, i.e 10 adults and 6 children. From Zambia we received 4 brethren. This was really the work of the Lord.
Five souls gave their lives to Christ, but out of these two (Brother ____ - young brother to brother ____) and sister ____) got baptized on Sabbath the 01 September, 2007.
The camp meeting was held at the confluence of two major rivers, ____ and ____ Rivers. The camp site is <2km from the village where sister ____'s parents live. The brethren from Namibia got their first and second nights accommodation at the village since it was late for erection of tents at the camp site....
The Camp Meeting enabled the Church to identify talent among brethren and this will help in future gatherings.
A consensus was reached that the next International Camp Meeting be held in Namibia. The venue and dates will be advised in due course by the host country.
Brethren later deliberated on the Solwezi declaration as a way of getting updates from the participating countries (Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe) on how far they had gone on the Seventh-day Remnant Church name issue in their respective countries. It was discovered that generally the brethren from the three countries had accepted the name issue...
Kind regards to all of you.
H.S., On behalf of the Church in Zimbabwe.

CORRESPONDENCE FROM FOREIGN WORKERS

FROM FIJI ISLANDS

(Combination of 2 letters) Dear Brother Bob, 1 John 4:4.
I am sorry for the delay in sending back the corrections.  It was difficult for me to find it, but it is a good thing for me because I went through the book again several times. The more I read it, the deeper I understood. You mentioned that you have sent me corrections earlier. I did not receive those, but this is the only ones I have received, and the corrections have been done, and I'm sending it back to you.
I have been visiting the printer here and have paid the deposit of 500 booklets to be printed, but our Brother ____ had asked me to tell you that we are going to print 1000 copies because he is willing to help financially. (Editor's Note: praise God, and please give the brother our thanks!)
Work here in Fiji is getting interesting, if it is a right word for me to use, because numbers of various churches here in Fiji are coming out of their churches and are worshipping at home, and this includes the Seventh-Day Adventist too. There are people who are looking for the real truth and this is why we needed more booklets to be printed.
____'s older brother has resigned from all his position in the church, and his name is out of the church roll, and he is joining this group now, and we only have to praise the Lord for that. He is working in the very, very, simplest way.
This booklets of the Last message of Mercy, Wheat and the Tares, The True Church of God, etc. these translated ones, people are still asking for it.
(Even) In such a small country like Fiji, but (still) big things happening here, like the Military leadership, the cost of living has gone up and the wages of civil servants have been reduced. So in times like this people of God will be seen that they are in peace.
Our brother ____ is here in the mainland. He called last night that he will be coming over to get some more booklets and he is asking about the translation of this booklets. I told him that its not ready yet. So we are all looking forward to this translation of the Later Rain and Loud Cry of the Angel of the Revelation 18. So we just have to wait for Gods own time.
I am half way now in translating tracks, "Gods Last Message of Mercy to the World", when after the booklet of the Later Rain and Loud Cry booklets be printed then we can get on to this tracks to be printed. So in the meantime lets continue to hear (from) each other in e-mails and may God continue to bless You....
Sorry for the delay in sending you my report. Well! I thank the Lord Almighty in allowing me to be able to make a trip to the island of ____.  We took booklets (translated ones) and also the “Latter Rain and the Loud Cry of the Angel and Revelation 18!! We couldn’t take much but enough to distribute cause we were told to travel light (as) we were only there for a couple of days, distributing and sharing with the people there.  There was a couple there who were very interesting in this light and we were up half of the night sharing.
There is a guy there, I am told that he use to preach in church on Sunday because that’s the only day they go to church in this island....So I think that was (one of) the reason why the Lord wanted us to go there, to share with this guy the truth about the Sabbath, and I gave him booklets to help him with his sermons, he was so thankful and has asked for more English booklets, and I make sure to see him again before we came back. I told him how important the message is and he has to tell the people. And I am hoping and praying that the Lord will allow us to go back there to save souls for him.
____ was here with his family spending Sabbath here with us at home and we were so glad to have them. And he also brought booklets of the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATIONS STANDS, and I’ll be sending you a copy through your mail. This booklets he have already translated himself. He has also having plans for holding a seminar, and thinking of inviting you to be the guest speaker since we have read that you have been to the South African Countries, am I right? So why not come to Fiji?...
I thank you once again for the support money, even though it has been decreased, but it has been a blessing to us. Thanks for your prayers and may be continue to be a source of blessing to us in all matters.
May God bless you abundantly! S.K., Fiji.

FROM KENYA, EAST AFRICA

(Combination of 3 letters) Dear bro. Bob,
     1 Jn 3:1.
Thank you for the forwards I have found on mail.
We are from ____ camp meeting, which was very successful. Elders and Deacons were ordained to establish the Centres around that region. It was crowned with the Lord's Supper with much blessings.
Tonite we are on board on our way to ____ for camp there. We to share more after we come back....
We are fine here, though there's apparent coldness among many people. Sometimes the message is not welcome with many. Past have been days when people were willing to listen, but (not so much) any more.
Seemingly interest has gone so low! However we were encouraged to meet with ____ from ____.  Once I wrote to him, he responded nicely and gave his address. ____ and I were with them yesterday for Sabbath. It is a small group of those seeing the gross darkness now engulfing the structure. He is the leader of the group and is committed to truth and the spreading of tracts and booklets.  Besides him, we met another brother who is also studying in his home realizing things aren't on track at church.
As the Lord will open ways send him more materials. This makes it more urgent for the funds to print locally, especially now that we have almost all materials in Kiswahili from bro. ____. We believe it will cut short the long waiting time for materials from there. If the Lord opens that way, glory be to HIM....
This past Sabbath I was with Brethren ____ and ____ at ____. There, I contacted a brother ____ whose letter you had forwarded to me. We met and I learnt he is a Sunday keeper, yet willing to share with us. I invited him to come for Sabbath which he did. We stayed together through the services which included the Lord's table. He confessed to have learnt much and that he would like to know more. That God might touch such ones with the fire of truth is my humble prayer. (Editor's Note: AMEN!)
We have also received a call from Tanzania in November prior to their camp in December. We are placing this request before the Lord, and before you brethren, that the God might open this way to the glory of His name.
When the way gets tough the Lord is just (as) nearby to help. Glory to His name.
     Isa. 27:3,4,12,13, B.I., Kenya.

FROM PAPUA NEW GUINEA

(Combination of 2 letters) Dear elder Bob.
Christian greetings from Papua New Guinea.
I am sorry that I have been so long delayed in writing to you. After conducting the revival meeting, am stranded for the last three and the half weeks out into the high remote villages waiting for the tribal fight between the 3 villages to be settled before cross over to the main road. After arriving at home malaria strike me for few days. Am not fully recovered yet.
Thank you for the money you wired over to us and also the e-mail message that touched our hearts with grieved and forced our knees on the ground and pleads to God in prayer to uphold your Ministry and the hearts of the donors to continue support the work there.  We are continuing praying.
The folks here in PNG (are) with the great excitement spreading the 3 angels message across the nation wide under the new name SEVENTH-DAY REMNANT. And some of recently built churches started to design this new name on their church signboard. (Editor's Note: May God be praised!!)  Soon I’ll be sending you some of my work reports if I fully recovered from malaria.
Elder! My prayer is, “Have faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, He has a thousand ways and means to finished the work. We are just an instrument in His mighty hand."...
The faithful believers in ____ has prepared in advance for the coming Loud Cry Camp in September, 2007. Myself and the other pastor from ____ will be the main speaker in the Camp.
Before the Camp Meeting begins, earlier the groundwork has to go first. The work such as street preaching and distribution of tracts and booklets, house to house visitation and conducting the retreat programs in other settlements and to remind the people to be aware and prepare for the Camp.  For that reason, we have been struggled to raised some funds since months ago with 8 other laymen while we have been plan to leave early this month (August) to assist ____ laymen in groundwork and the Camp.  But unfortunately the money we raised could not meet our budget and the time of our departure is near. So the last money you’ve wired for me...will be 100% channeled to meet the airfares for the 8 workers to ____ city evangelism and Loud Cry Camp that will be commencing on the 16th – 23rd September, 2007. Also more than 20 believers from the highlands region prepared to attend the Camp Meeting in ____.
We are now kindly asking you to remember us in your daily prayers for ____ Camp.
May the Lord be with you forever, B.K., Papua New Guinea.

FROM THE PHILIPPINES

(Combination of 2 letters) Dear Bro Bob,
     1 John 3:1.
After exhausting all our effort to talk and study with bro ____ on the issue of Godhead, and after following the rules laid down in the Bible especially in cutting off a member of the church, the church here in ____ decided to cut him off as being our worker, minister and member of the church because of his continues holding on to his spiritualistic and Babylonian doctrine. We thank God because nobody in our brethren, except his wife, accept his doctrine. We didn't even (need to) held a Council meeting because no trouble arose. The problem is with himself only. Thank you Bro Bob for you prayers and support for this issue. God really worked for not allowing His church to experience a much problem this time. I really praise God!
I was just felt very sad because they are so special to me especially his wife because since the time that we both accepted the truth, we became close friends. When we were still single, we worked together as missionaries. But I know that God will heal all this. And I am still praying that God will wake them up before it will become too late....
Please Bro Bob, continue to pray for us here, especially for the work here in the Philippines to continue to move forward. I know that God is in control with His work and He will be the One to finish it with our cooperation. May God continue to bind and unite us all into all truth....
About us and the work here in the Philippines, its okay, though we are facing another trials because ____ had a sympathizer in the person of his wife and family. They are sowing doubts to our brethren. But we had already informed and warned our brethren here, not to hear from them. Their doctrine is really an error. We are now establishing our brethren on this issue of the Godhead. We are hoping and praying that none of our brethren will be deceive. And please continue to pray for us. (Editor's Note: you all are definitely in my daily prayers.)
Also we'd been sharing to a man who is a member of Couples for Christ and a Bible reader. We talked about the law because he said that there are only two laws now, love for God and love for man. So I share to him those Bible text that tells that the ten commandments is still need to follow and show him that to show our love to God we need to follow the first four of the ten commandments, and to show our love to our fellow we need to follow the last six. We also shared with each other some very interesting topics on our Christian life, and i am inviting him to our house to have more time to study.
I am also sharing and making friend with our new neighbor. This old lady is a Catholic, but went to church on Saturday. She said that she is also a Sabbath keeper though she went to the Catholic church for mass. Their parish priest was always asking her what is her reason why she go to church on Saturday and not on Sunday. She just told their priest that it is much comfortable for her to attend on Saturday. But I know that this lady is convicted on the light of the Sabbath, so I keep on sharing to her the light. I am praying that this persons will received the truth in God's time...
Till here for now. May God continue bless all of us and may we stand firm for the truth.
     In Christ, S.B., Philippines.

FROM UGANDA, EAST AFRICA

(Combination of 2 letters) Dear Elder Sessler,
God be blessed, (as) it (the recent experience) has been one of the hardest passage that we called to go through, but all in all the Lord remains compassionate, loving, very understanding Father to us.
It is precious to hear from that side once again. In the line of seemingly figs which are showing great foliage from a distant place (recent e-mails from non-SDAs forwarded to me requesting more information), I will do communicate with the friend who was guided after prayer to your address, as the contact person the Lord knows better as why many things that are difficult to explain by human methods of getting the answers are happening around us.
Actually it (this recent experience) has been (in a) class of (all) its own to go through what I have gone through.  (Yet) all things work for good to them who love the Lord. I was out of (money and in) financial (troubled) waters for the last few months, but it should have a lesson that helps us to prepare for tough times ahead of us.
I believe the work of this friend is promising and it may be labors of the silent messengers or the tracts that are given and we thank the Lord for leading him to your address.
Thanks a lot for the support, it found me beyond time (overdue) for I (had) lot of debts to settle, (and) it pushed back to almost debt free person which is our holy faith calls for.
Thanks for the Newsletter (as) it explains about the great work across nations.  Thanks for earnest prayers, (and the) efforts to keep the work going through the thin and thick of the last days of history.
Got the tracts that I believe will (be able) to reach the people in their mother languages....
It is becoming increasingly difficult for (a) Pastor (to minister) out here (because) a lot things have been reported on newspapers for (such as an) evangelical pastor (and all) the nasty dirty (things he was guilty of doing) that is hardly known to whom is now ascribed to (that) pastor; (it) is unbelievable! But is happening (and this news is bringing about a) calling for Government regulation of the Churches across the nation. This puts some of our work in the limbo for we (have been approached and been) demanded (to produce registration) papers to (be able to) work in certain areas....
The Nation is also preparing for the visit of the leader of the English Church, even the Queen of England. She is to meet with heads of states within the common wealth independent nations. For a special meeting which is held either after 2 years it goes to one of those of the nations within this organization. So calls for serious security measures by the Government.
The field that our Redeemer called (me) to work I believe was (also) to help a brother called ____ who suffered loss of (his) home in mountain ____ side of Kenya because of the warring tribes within that area fighting for a market place in ____,  ____ and ____ (and) it left many souls dead. I help him set up some gardens that will help him and family....
The Moslem friend who was interested in believing our precious Saviour seems to have been transferred to Sudan far away from Christian influence thus severing contact (with) me and even other Christians. (Editor's Note: We will be keeping him in prayers.)...
God in mercy brought some one to my place during (our) sharing or devotion time. (In the end) he gave his life to Christ and promised to share with his family on the same.  We await his coming to church.
The nation is hit with terrible floods due to climate changes globally (and) we are experiencing heavy and destructive rains across the country.  Many are displaced, some have lost lives, and famine and diseases may follow this judgements.
Thanks a lot for prayers (and) counsels.
May God bless you. H.I., Uganda.

FROM ZAMBIA, CENTRAL AFRICA

(Combination of 3 letters) Dearest br. Bob,
Thankx very much for this support.
____ and I are today in ____, Malawi for a programme that will go up to 11th Aug., 2007. There is a lot to do here in Malawi. Many brethren have come up for this programme and are willing to hear the separation message, and about the true church. The programme begins tomorrow. Please pray for me and ____. We are have weak bodies after travelling for about two days and one night.  (But) People are ready for the truth....
It was on the 2nd Aug, 2007 that we entered in Malawi through ____ boarder around 14:00hrs and travel for two and half hours to ____ city of Malawi. We again boarded into another combi very small and travelled for 4hrs till about 22:30hrs that we where in ____ town. This is in the small town surrounded by mountains. We found br. ____ waiting for us as we had communicated later when we where in ____.
The following day was a Friday and so we go prepared for the Sabbath, and on the Sabbath we gathered at one of the School where the brother had arranged. So brethren from ____ town about 75km from ____ came to worship with us. It was a wonderful Sabbath.
Sunday came and our programme started in the morning at 08:30hrs. We had three hrs in the 7mornings and about 4 1/2hrs in the afternoon/evening. The Lord helped me to prepare studies on 1 - THE STORY OF REDEMPTION. 2 - THE SEVEN PILLARS OF OUR FAITH [EACH PILLAR STUDIED DEEPERLY]. 3 - MEDICAL MISSIONARY [HEALTH REFORM]. 4 - GOD'S INVITATION BY SEPARATION. 5 - GOD'S TRUE CHURCH.
Br. Bob many brethren came to attend the meetings and some from SDA who at last promised never to go back to SDA church. And those who came from Sunday keeping church also could not like to go back.
During this week the three major homes churches, two from within ____ and one from ____ came and when we looked at the three angels messages this was the greatest interesting day, as the Lord spoke with power and we even had rains in the this month and many people wondered (why). It was the showers of blessing we called it. The last day Sabbath, the last lesson (was on the) separation message.  It shock most Sunday and Sabbath keepers who just separated to these home churches due to some wrong activities in their former churches, so they (finally saw the) really (truth about) separation from the SOP and the Bible.
It was a wonderful time and all the brethren where happy with the truth, and they are planing that we can again go there for church organization as soon as possible. Thank you Lord, as my dear wife did help me very much in contributions to the studies. She also talk something on food and nutrition.
At the very last call some brethren gave their life to Jesus and joined fully the home churches. There is still more work to be done in home churches on the issue of Church organization, as only br. ____ and other few acting as leaders. Brethren my greatest prayer is that may the Lord open the means of support for His last message to go.
They need many booklet for free distribution as many are now interested to hear about our faith. Please send some materials to br. ____ for the great work there. (Please) Support this work.
On the 13th Aug. 2007 Joy and I crossed the boarder and came back to ____ and reached ____ at 21:00hrs. The following day we where in ____ and just spent one night home, and (then) went to the farm to prepare for another trip to ____ for the local Camp Meeting which started on 18th Aug. On monday we where in ____, but again was just there for two days and left other brethren to continue (on the trip). Whilest there I had my two lessons presented; Signs of the Times and The Pillars of our Faith. On Wednesday we were in ____ at night and then joined br. ____ in ____ on Thursday (to get prepared to travel) for the International Camp meeting in Zimbabwe.
____, ____ and I left ____ on Friday in the morning and we where received by br. and Sr. ____ in ____ later in the afternoon, and then we drove to the campsite about 300km from ____. There we got our brethren from Namibia and other local brethren waiting for us. We had our first Sabbath at the campsite and it was so good. Sunday the 26th Aug, 2007 came for the major Camp programme to start. It was in the evening and we were welcomed by the host and the following day was a Monday when the full programme began in the morning.
Br. ____ and (I) where given more than two lessons to present. Through the week the great Lord was with us and we really received His message. We had rain again like in Malawi, and so we shouted with br. ____, “ Showers of Blessing”. Br. Bob the last day, a Sabbath, again came and it was a day for the my last topic “GOD’S TRUE CHURCH". I really praise God the way this lesson came up, and at the end a call was made as I read from COL 205. This came at the good (right) time, and we had three brethren who stood and joined the God’s true church. In the afternoon we had baptism with two brethren who were prepared during the week and from their home churches. We asked br. ____ and br. ____ ("Roaring Lion") to do the baptism work and take care of these souls. The two brethren did the work as they where led by the Holy spirit. Later after this we had our Lord’s supper and in the evening we closed our Camp Meeting with hymns and farewell.
The following day was the departing day, and the lovely God took care of our trips, and now as I write to you I am at home. Pray for these new souls in Zimbabwe and also for the great work going on there. May the great God be with brs. ____, ____ and sr. ____ for the great work they did in preparing for this International Camp Meeting.
Br. Bob, br. ____ and I are really asking for your prayers as we have a lot of work within this country and outside. God willing, we shall soon be preparing for another programme in central province of Zambia where we are wanted to go for a two weeks seminar in the new area. We need enough financial support for us to go through all these programmes. Our humble prayer and request is that the great Lord may provide more for the (other) work too. May God bless you and all the brethren in this great work....
Thank you Lord for this work! It is very true my br. that many (SDAs) are now awake in Zambia due to this issue of Women's Ministry (women pastors) being enforced in the SDAs. There is already a big fire right now and about 10 churches have been closed in Eastern province of Zambia because they have refused to accept WM. So we are planing to go there as many are calling for our truth. ____ town is in the eastern part of Zambia neighbouring town with ____. About 1200km from ____.  All we need now is means to travel there. God be with you as you look at this issue (and consider this for support).  I will be posting you a copy of the newspaper for you to see what I mean.
Be with you always, B.W., Zambia.

FROM ZIMBABWE, AFRICA

(Combination of 2 letters) Dear Elder Bob,
"But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things." Ephesians 6:21.
Its my pleasure once again to give you an update of the progress of work here in Zimbabwe. However, I must confess my apology for taking too long to do so following much pressure of the same work. You remember last time telling you that preparations were being geared for the commencement of a humble, and effective work in house to house evangelism in my new area of residence. Before I speak much please take note of this one: "The Lord has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God." Isaiah 52:10. Surely the Lord is on our side as the winds are being held for the sole purpose of completing the work of sealing His people.
My brother, now am midway doing this wonderful work and have not experienced big problems or opposition from the enemies of the truth. I have been blessed to do a lot of work this month of June which may include: Working tirelessly to win back my fellow laborer who (was) on the brink of going away from the separated brethren, and have since joined me in doing this work. We had to (go) around distributing our valued literature in a door to door work, explaining, discussing and even holding Bible studies in as many homes, as more than 50, and met several people of different denominations.
The results so far are that we have been joined by 2 former SDAs and 6 others from various churches. We had to encounter tough and challenging questions, and thank God we managed to answer many of them by the grace of God. This work is supposed to continue until the month end of JULY when we will be finalizing preparations for Camp Meeting. Pray with us for the success of the work and for the newly separated brethren among us. Thank you also for sending me this touching issue of WCC....
The whole month of August I couldn't manage to report to you due to the stepped up efforts for preparations for the Camp Meeting. Just as an overview of the work that I was doing prior to the Camp Meeting, my brother, the Lord blessed us with wonderful results of work that even after the Camp Meeting we are still doing....
My brother, we were privileged to host one of the most encouraging Camp Meetings that shall be remembered only when we shall have been saved. The place where we gathered was an area amid the two rivers in a low veld that is also characterized by some showers of rains due to the highest mountain of ____ that was just nearby. The Namibians were a great comfort to many brethren as they came in their good numbers together with their families. They were up to 12 altogether and the Zambians also came about 4 of them.
Issues that were dealt with on this Camp Meeting were: True Church, Held Responsible, Wheat and Tares, Separation, Signs of the Times, True Repentance and Health Reform, to mention just but a few. Main speakers were from Zambia and Namibia. We are very much thankful for the prayers of our brethren world over for the success of this Camp Meeting. 2 were baptized at the end of this meeting and 3 gave themselves to the Lord, and we ended with a joyful occasion of the Lord's Supper. Before departure, leaders from all home churches met together for briefing of the proceedings of the meeting, where could have went wrong, report of the progress of the name issue from other countries....
So far I am currently having a good time sharing (to) a group of SDAs the important booklet of WCC & SDA. If the Lord blesses you with enough means, please send me (many of) this booklet...
     God bless, K.M., Zimbabwe.
