THE SUNDAY LAW CONTROVERSY

The main "eternal purpose of the Lord of the World" is that Satan will come to “this planet in order to carry forward His fixed designs" so that "all lives in all kingdoms" will be the "vehicle" for the “expression of...himself”! The Rays and the Initiations, p 242, by Alice Bailey.

So the main purpose of the devil is to have all people of the earth to become like him in character! But how is this to occur? This is to be accomplished through "initiation" in which a "special state of consciousness" is achieved, enabling you "to grasp more and comprehend more of His divine purpose."The Rays and the Initiations, p 242, Alice Bailey.

Now who is the one who "initiates" people into this "special state of consciousness?"

"[Lucifer is] the great initiator....Lucifer works within each of us to bring us...to that point which I term the Luciferic Initiation...it is an initiation into the New Age." Reflections of the Christ, p 44-45, New Age leader David Spangler.

Consequently Satan's or Lucifer's main purpose is to have all of humanity initiated into the ancient Mysteries of Babylon – or "illuminated" – so that they will become changed into the express image of himself. Thus we would become his representatives and witnesses in the earth, declaring that Lucifer is God, and all opposition to this idea will be targeted for elimination.

At the same time the main plan of the God of heaven, as expressed in the Scriptures, is for our salvation (see Luke 1:68-79; 2 Corinthians 6:2; 2 Thessalonians 2:13). That humanity will behold, through the Word of God, His glory or character and will become "changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3:18. And thus through the faith and precious gift of the Righteousness of Christ, we might be "filled with the fruits of righteousness" and become changed into the express image of God (see Philippians 1:11). In other words, to be Christ-like. Thus we would become the representatives and witnesses of God in this dark wicked world, declaring that He is God, and not Lucifer (see Isaiah 43:11-12).

Thus the will of God is for our "sanctification" unto "righteousness...and redemption" through "the Spirit unto obedience" of God's commands, and thus inheriting eternal life (see 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 1 Peter 1:2-5; 1 John 5:11-12; Jude 21). In contrast the will of Satan is for us to hold God's "truth in unrighteousness," and to be "filled with" the fruits of "all unrighteousness" becoming the children of darkness in disobeying God's commands, and thus reaping eternal death and destruction (see Romans 1:18, 29; Ephesians 2:2; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, 2:8-12).

So enevitably the whole world will be ranged into 2 groups – those who represent Lucifer in character, versus those who represent God in character.

But where will most of these Luciferic "initiations" take place?

"Benjamin Creme (spokesman for the Maitreya or the false Christ of the New Age Movement) has declared that ‘revitalized' Christian churches as well as Masonic lodges will be used for purposes of giving these ‘mass planetary initiations.'" The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow, p 140, by Constance Cumbey.

In order to accomplish this evil purpose, a Plan has been developed and already put into action for many years now, that will unite the whole world together into a One World Order. Thus there will be a One World Government, a One World Economy and especially a One World Religion. With the One World Religion, the goal is to break down all separating barriers between all churches so that they will unite together on a common platform of brotherly love and unity in the spirit, without the true God or His Law. Thus they would be welded together in a One World Religion, which would be united with a One World Government, prepared for the coming of Lucifer as they have planned.

"The Workers in the Field of Religion...[are] to formulate the universal platform of the new world religion. It is a work of loving synthesis and it will emphasize the unity and the fellowship of the spirit....The platform of the new world religion will be built by the many groups, working under the inspiration of the Christ..." Discipleship In The New Age, Vol 1, p 38, by Alice Bailey.

The United Nations was established to try and bring about this One World Government, but they are also involved in trying to bring about a One World Religion. The United Nations Assistant Secretary-General was Robert Muller, and He stated:

"The time has come to obtain peace on this planet...the United Nations Charter has to be supplemented by a charter of spiritual laws....

"I think that what is wrong...[is that] we have forgotten...we have a cosmic evolution and [spiritual] destiny." Robert Muller, quoted in The Seduction of Christianity, p 53-54, by Dave Hunt.

The Luciferic plan has been and is continuing to be carried out masterfully, and it will soon be achieved. Then all the world will be united into a One World Order, prepared for Lucifer to come personating Jesus Christ returned to earth. Former Jesuit, Malachi Martin, writes:

"Once complete unity has been achieved, Christ--who will be the Omega Point--will appear; man will then be more than man, will be what Teilhard called Ultra-Human; the cosmos will be transformed; and the glory of it all will be established." The Jesuits: The Society of Jesus and the Betrayal of the Roman Catholic Church, p 288, by Malachi Martin.

Since this unity is quickly being accomplished, and all the religions are coming together into a Luciferic One World Religion, which day will be chosen as the universal day of rest for the whole world? It will not be the Sabbath of the Bible or Saturday, which is the special day which God Himself has chosen to bless and commands His people to worship Him on (see Genesis 2:2-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Isaiah 58:13-14; Hebrews 4:4-11). But it will obviously be the Day of the Sun or of Lucifer – the Blazing Star – the king of Babylon and the coming One World Leader. This day of the sun is the first day of the week or Sunday, the day which Satan himself has blessed and commands all his people to worship him on!

This issue – on which day we will choose to worship God on – will be one of the main deciding factors on whether we will receive the seal or mark or sign of God (Ezekiel 20:12, 20) and thus receive eternal life, or whether we will receive the seal or mark or sign of the Beast and thus receive the plagues and eternal death!

God clearly and unmistakably warns all:

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name" Revelation 14:9-11.

In contrast to those who are lost (being those who chose to disobey God's commandment and instead obeyed the commandment of Lucifer to worship on his day of the sun), Revelation pictures those who are saved as saints:

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus" Revelation 14:12.

But this issue of which day we choose for worship will reflect our choice of sides in the final battle between Christ and Satan. If we choose to worship on Saturday – the Bible Sabbath – then we show that we choose to follow God and want to become part of His Heavenly Kingdom. Thus we refuse to be a follower of Lucifer, or to be part of his New World Order. But if we choose to worship on Sunday – Lucifer's sabbath – then we show that we choose to follow Satan and want to become part of his New World Order. Thus we refuse to be a follower of God, or to be part of His Heavenly Kingdom!

This great test, which all the people of the world will face, is just waiting for Sunday to be made the official day of rest. And the Beast – the Roman Catholic church – is taking a leading role in making this day of Lucifer a special day in the eyes of all peoples. Many Popes have exalted Sunday – especially the last 2. Pope John Paul II called for Sunday to be recognized and legislated as being the day of rest for the world!

"A new papal encyclical on social and economic rights endorses religious liberty and the rights of conscience but also reiterates church support for Sunday legislation.

"The document, Centesimus Annus, was released by Pope John Paul II last May in observance of the 100th anniversary of Rerum Novarum a major Vatican encyclical on economics and worker's rights....

"Ironically, at the same time the papal document called for religious liberty guarantees, it also called for government recognition of Sunday as a day of rest and worship. ‘[Pope Leo XIII] affirms the need for Sunday rest so that people may turn their thoughts to heavenly things and to the worship which they owe to almighty God,' said John Paul II. ‘No one can take away this human right, which is based on a commandment.'

"’In this regard,' the pope continued, ‘one may ask whether existing laws and the practice of industrialized societies effectively ensure in our own day the exercise of this basic right to Sunday rest.'" Church and State, July/August, 1991, p 21.

Pope John Paul II also sent an "Apostolic Letter" to the various Nations and peoples of the world admonishing and encouraging them to honor and respect Sunday as a sacred worship day! In this letter, the Pope even urged fellow Catholics to "strive to insure that civil legislation respects their duty to keep Sunday holy," and that "the State must guarantee" Sunday rest. Dies Domini, July 7, 1998.

The current pope Benedict XVI is following in the same footsteps of John Paul II in regards to Sunday exaltation. Since he was elected on April 19, 2005, Benedict has exalted Sunday worship over 16 times! Here is just a sampling of what he states:

– May, 2005: Sunday “is the identity of the Christian community and the center of his life and mission”, that “we cannot live without joining together on Sunday”, that only those Christians “who lived in accordance with Sunday” have “attained new hope”, and that “the Christians of today will rediscover the crucial importance of the Sunday Celebration”. (Pastoral Visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Bari for the Closing of the 24th Italian National Eucharistic Congress, Homily of Pope Benedict XVI, Esplanade of Marisabella, Sunday, May 29, 2005.)

– July, 2005: Saturday is “no longer” the worship day of God, only on Sunday can we become part of the body of Christ in the world, only by worshiping on Sunday can we avoid “egoistic isolation” and instead be united “in a great community...a universal community” becoming “related to everyone in the world.” (Meeting with Diocesan Clergy of Aosta, Address of Pope Benedict XVI, Parish Church at Introd (Aosta Valley), Monday, July 25, 2005.)

– August, 2005: Every Sunday is to be dedicated and given to God. (Mass on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Homily of Pope Benedict XVI, given in Parish Church of Castel Gandolfo, Monday, August 15, 2005.)

– November, 2005: “Social disorder, war, injustice and violence” can only be countered “by renewed appreciation and respect for the universal moral law [Sunday observance], that only by recognizing that law can the world have “dignity, life and freedom” with “conditions of justice and peace” in all the communities of the world, and that the promotion and defense of this law is what “must govern relations between nations and peoples in the pursuit of the common good of the human family...within the international community.” (Address of Pope Benedict XVI to H.E. Mr Francis Rooney, New Ambassador of the United States of America to the Holy See, Saturday, November 12, 2005.)

– January, 2006: Sunday is a day of rest for all workers. (Address of Pope Benedict XVI to the Italian Christian Workers' Associations (A.C.L.I.), Clementine Hall, Friday, January 27, 2006.)

– November, 2006: People cannot be sanctified except on Sunday, that Christ transferred Sabbath sacredness to Sunday, that only those who keep Sunday belong to Christ, that only on Sunday does “the risen Lord makes himself present among his followers”, that only these “worship God properly”, and that may Sunday “regain all its importance.” (Letter of Pope Benedict XVI to Card. Francis Arinze on the Occasion of the Study Day in Honour of the 43rd Anniversary of the Promulgation of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, Sacrosanctum Concilium, From the Vatican, November 27, 2006.)

– February, 2007: Sunday is an “obligation for all the faithful” which brings “authentic freedom enabling them to live each day”, that it is the Lord’s day, that it is “a day to be sanctified”, and those who do not keep it suffer “the loss of an authentic sense of Christian freedom” and the loss of being “the children of God”, that Sunday is the “primordial holy day” and “is meant to be kept holy”, “a day of rest from work”, which hopefully “will also be recognized by civil society” by law. – March, 2007: “It is necessary” “to hold Sunday in special high regard” in order “to remain united to Christ”, as “it is the day dedicated to the Lord.” (Message of Pope Benedict XVI to the Participants in the 9th International Youth Forum (Rocca di Papa, 28-31 March 2007), from the Vatican, March 28, 2007.)

– May, 2007: Only on Sunday can we experience “a personal encounter with Christ.” (Apostolic Journey of Pope Benedict XVI to Brazil on the Occasion of the Fifth General Conference of the Bishops of Latin America and the Carribbean, Inaugural Session, Address of Pope Benedict XVI, Conference Hall, Shrine of Aparecida, Sunday, May 13, 2007.)

– September, 2007: “Without the Lord’s day, we cannot live”, that meeting with the Lord only occurs on the “specific day” of Sunday, that life does not flourish without Sunday, and that Sunday is a day of rest, of freedom and equality for all the world. (Eucharistic Celebration Homily of Pope Benedict XVI , Saint Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna, Sunday, September 9, 2007.)

– February, 2008: Encouraged America to exercise “its leadership within the international community” based on “the common moral law [Sunday holiness].” (Address of Pope Benedict XVI to H.E. Mrs. Mary Ann Glendon, New Ambassador of the United States of America to the Holy See, Friday, February 29, 2008.)

– April, 2008: The world has greater need of hope for peace, justice and freedom, which “can never be delivered without obedience to the law of God [Sunday holiness]”. (Video-Message of the Pope Benedict XVI to Catholics and People of the United States of America on the Occasion of the Upcoming Apostolic Journey, April 15-21, 2008.)

– April, 2008: The RCC “makes its contribution (in the ethical and moral sphere) according to the dispositions of international law, helps to define that law, and makes appeal to it”, that we live in a time when little groups of independent people threaten the unity of the world, and that the only way to combat this problem is by establishing law and then ordering all of society according to this law, thus promoting “peace and good will throughout the earth.” (Apostolic Journey to the United States of America and Visit to the United Nations Organization Headquarters, Meeting with the Members of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization, Address of Pope Benedict XVI, New York, Friday, April 18, 2008.)

Not only is the Catholic Church following this scheme of Lucifer in urging Sunday to be the recognized day of rest and worship for the whole world, but so are the Protestant Churches – the Image of the Beast!

"We, the undersigned ministers and Christian workers [representing the Presbyterian, Baptist, and Methodist churches], appeal to the Christian Community...to protect the Lord's Day by using it as a time for worship and service to the Lord Jesus Christ." Handout entitled, "An Open Letter to the Christian Community", Brandon, IL., 1988.

There is even a religious organization called The Lord's Day Alliance, which is devoted to bringing about a law which recognizes only Sunday as a rest day. They have been working towards this purpose for over 100 years, ever since their founding in 1888. And it is interesting that in their very first year as a Sunday promoting organization, Senator Blair introduced a bill before the 50th Congress of the United States, on May 21, 1888, which would have made Sunday worship the law of the land! The opening lines of this bill stated:

"...a bill (S. 2983) to secure to the people the enjoyment of the first day of the week as a day of rest, and to promote its observance as a day of religious worship..." Congressional Record, 50th Congress, 1st Session, vol 19, Part 5, May 21, 1888, p 4455.

Ever since 1888, there has been an off and on push for Sunday to be the official day of rest. But the religious arena is not the only place that Sunday is being pushed as the official rest day, but also through other non-religious areas as well – such as Unions!

"Sunday is a traditional day of rest. It is a day of worship. Sunday is a day to be together as a family. Sunday is not a mandatory work day!...Six days already belong to the employer to use his employees as desired (24 hours per day). The Sabbath day belongs to the worker....

"Solidarity is vital to the labor movement, and your help is needed. Please shop at other union stores...until our labor dispute is settled." Handout entitled, "Solidarity: All Union Members Must Unite", 1988.

Not only are Unions getting involved, but also are State Governors! The Governor of the State of Georgia made a statewide Proclamation in 1989 stating:

"The Lord's Day Alliance of the United States was founded in 1888 to maintain and promote the Sabbath as a day of rest, worship, Christian education and spiritual renewal...

"I, Joe Frank Harris, Governor of the State of Georgia, do hereby proclaim the day of February 12, 1989 [Sunday], as a special day for THE LORD'S DAY ALLIANCE OF THE UNITED STATES as they celebrate their 101st anniversary, and for placing emphasis on the importance of observing Sunday as the Lord's Day." A Proclamation: By the Governor of the State of Georgia, signed and sealed on January 25, 1989, by Governor Joe Frank Harris.

But not only are State Governors interested in making Sunday special, but so was the President of the United States!

"In his first act as president Friday [January 20, 1989], Bush signed a proclamation making Sunday a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving..." The Star News (Pasadena, California), January 21, 1989, p A-4.

George Bush, Sr., proclaimed:

"I, George Bush (Sr), President of the United States of America, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim January 22, 1989 [Sunday], a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving and call upon the citizens of our great Nation to gather together on this day in homes and places of worship to pray...Let all Americans kneel humbly before our Heavenly Father..." The recognition of Sunday as an official rest day is not just taking place in America, but in the other nations of the world as well.

"Germany plans to make Sunday the official day of rest for the EC's 320 million citizens...have met with unexpected support from other community countries...

"Herr [Franz] Berger's scheme could...transpose German rules against commercial activities on Sunday...to every other country in the community....

"All EC countries except Britain believe workers should be automatically entitled by law to at least one day off in seven, and Germany is pushing for Sunday to be officially designated." London Daily Telegraph, September 29, 1990.

In fact, Austria, Australia, Canada, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Fiji, Slovenia, etc., already have passed Sunday laws. Even England passed a Sunday law, and SDA leaders supported it!

So you can see that world-wide Sunday legislation is just around the corner, and the whole world will be ranged into two groups; one group being those who refuse to give up the teachings of God's Word – rejecting the commandments of men and standing separate from the New World Order and its religion; the other group being those who reject God's Word in order to follow the commandments of men and to be in union with the New World Order and its religion. And each and every person in the world will be forced to make this decision for, or against, God!

How do you stand today dear reader? Could you make this decision to stand for God even though your life is at stake?

"The people of God are not ready for the fearful, trying scenes before us, not ready to stand pure from evil and lust amid the perils and corruptions of this degenerate age. They have not on the armor of righteousness, and are unprepared to war against the prevailing sin and iniquity around them. Many are not obeying the commandments of God; yet they profess so to do." Review and Herald, September 7, 1886.

The people, above all others, who should be first and foremost to rise to the occasion and sound the trumpet notes of alarm, are asleep. Many are as unprepared for the crisis and their Lord's return as are those who know not the Lord! How many of us are prepared to stand when our Lord comes and not find ourselves running from Him and calling for the rocks and mountains to hide us from His glory and brightness? It is a shame that some among us are even leaning their hopes upon the excuse that since they are not yet ready, then God will delay the final crisis and put off His coming until they are ready. But is this a safe excuse to hide behind?

"God desires His people to prepare for the soon-coming crisis. Prepared or unprepared, they must all meet it; and those only who have brought their lives into conformity to the divine standard, will stand firm at that time of test and trial." Acts of Apostles, p 431-432.

Brethren, we need not look any further into the future for the time of crisis to occur, because it has already begun!

"The Lord is coming very soon, and we are entering into scenes of calamity. We need not say: The perils of the last days are soon to come upon us. Already they are come....We are in the shaking time, the time when everything that can be shaken will be shaken." Faith I Live By, p 336.

So prepared or unprepared, the crisis is here and will only grow worse! Ready or not, our Lord is coming! We can not put off till tomorrow what we can do to prepare today. Tomorrow is not the day of our salvation. To-day is the time. Tomorrow may be too late!

"Those professed christians who come up to the time of trouble unprepared, will, in their despair, confess their sins in words of burning anguish, while the wicked exult over their distress. The case of all such is hopeless....[For] there will be no atoning blood to cleanse from sin and pollution." Spiritual Gifts, book 3, p 134.

"O brother be faithful, soon Jesus will come, for whom we have waited so long!"

Part 2 of the Sunday Law Controversy will be dealing with the correct inspired scenario of events surrounding the Sunday law.

The Lord is blessing our Bible Study Course outreach. We have 56 precious souls enrolled in the USA, which includes 6 from prison. We also have 37 enrolled from Foreign fields, which include 11 from non-African countries. So the Lord has allowed us to send Bible Lessons to 93 precious souls, and we ask for your prayers to ascend for each and every one of these so that they will continue taking the lessons until completion when they can be baptized into the truth. Out of the 93 taking the lessons, we have had 8 precious souls complete all their lessons, and 7 of these have been baptized from the US! May God be praised for His merciful kindness.

The Lord is continuing to bless our TrueChurchofGod.info Web Site. In the month of March we had 7,679 hits, which were generated by 1,786 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 5,135 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 235 million bits of information were downloaded.

In the month of April we had 7,014 hits, which were generated by 2,018 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 4,430 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 199 million bits of information were downloaded!

So for these past 2 months, over 435 million bits of information were downloaded from our Gospel Truth Web Site by over 3,800 visitors!

The Lord is also abundantly blessing our LightMinistries.com Web Site! In the month of March we had 119,248 hits, which were generated by 26,752 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 53,908 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 5.89 billion bits of information were downloaded.

In the month of April we had 149,541 hits, which were generated by 28,994 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 64,652 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 10.9 billion bits of information were downloaded!

So for these past 2 months alone, over 16.79 billion bits of information were downloaded from our Present Truth Web Site by over 55,746 visitors! MAY GOD'S HOLY NAME BE PRAISED!!

GENERAL FOREIGN MISSION WORK NEEDS

We are currently supporting several workers in many different Countries on a monthly basis. We check into the economy of each area and supply a base support which is adequate depending on their situation, but not extravagant. This base support is to ensure that the monthly needs of each worker and family is met for that month so that the worker may devote full time to the ministry work. In addition to this, we are sending extra materials for evangelism, and money for printing, publishing, holding meetings, traveling, and other necessary areas in spreading the Present Truth in their Country. And as the work extends, especially will the expenses for evangelism expand. Whatever you can send to help in this necessary and vital area is greatly appreciated.

The work of spreading God's present truth is not to be limited, but must extend world-wide to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people before our Saviour can come (Matthew 24:14). What better way of spreading the present truth gospel than by having workers who speak the native language, who reside in that particular Country, who can live and preach the truth, visit the interests in their homes, and spread the printed truth translated into their common language!

"Our publications should be printed in other languages, that foreign nations may be reached. LETTERS to "LET THERE BE LIGHT" Ministries

Dear Elder Robert Sessler, Many Christian greetings from Tanzania. I take this opportunity to write this letter to you....

Dear Sessler...here in ____ or ____...these people have gone to school, and educated people (here) are not receptive to these messages. I had already printed nearly all booklets – at least two or three copies per each title....

(Since the power was out) I thought that instead of wasting time waiting for the electric company to finish putting up new electric posts; it was better for me to visit local areas – far from the city of ____. I visited the western parts of Tanzania in the second week of May. There is not even one university (here). People are not highly educated like these staying in ____ City. I thought of spending one week preaching and teaching. I found myself spending about three weeks.

The meetings were being attended by more than three hundred daily. These people are very poor, but receptive and kind. They spent their money on photocopying the booklets and that book – Abomination of Desolation and Church History. I can report to you that the minimum can be 60 copies and some have pledged to photocopy sometimes latter. At least, I enjoyed to see the fruit of my work I had been doing for almost three years. They never subscribed to any English [language] document. What they want is Kiswahili only....

Here in ____ people are satisfied in their Laodicean condition. There are more than five universities all over the city plus many other institutions of higher learning.....However, it does not have even 50 adherents of these messages we are preaching. I wonder the way God works. Here where I produce the materials there are a handful of adherents, while far from where I stay there are more than four hundred. They come to fetch everything from this place.

Dear Sessler, I am sorry to tell you that in the Western parts of Tanzania persecutions have begun from the SDA leadership. Because of spreading the Present Truth, 2 women were put in the jail for six years each. One man was also sentenced 3 years, but latter on released miraculously. Who are the accusers? – The SDA Conference leaders. They have vowed to get rid of what they term as Reformers/heretics. Out of those who were put to jail, more than twenty were put in the lock-up for four days without food. When they were released, they were ordered never to preach the messages because they were bringing hatred against other religions. We are not certain with what may happen next two weeks because the SDA Church has warned that if sheep stealing will go on then they have to find a way to stop this new movement which claims to have all the truth. [Editor’s Note: we will definitely keep you all in our prayers, and please continue to spread the truth. Just as a dog never yelps unless he is being hurt, so the devil never roars unless he is losing captives!]

Preparations are underway to conduct more than 5 evangelistic meetings in the ____ parts. Although there are threatenings from the SDA leaders; more people have vowed to go public even without permission. I have been asked to produce more booklets and this week I shall be doing that job. I hope that God’s will will be accomplished. I can not comment so much, but I have to go back to the field in the end of ____.

May I greet you once again in His wonderful name, and may His love, peace and joy be with you always.

I thank you so much for the support money...and I thank the Almighty for His blessings. But I am so sorry for the delay in replying since it was a very busy month for me. We have moved to our new place where we could do some planting, the piece of land which we been praying for, the Lord has provided us. But I do hope you will understand the situation in moving from one place to another is quite a big job.

I know the Lord has called us to this place for a reason, it’s a very nice place and the neighbours there are so good, but they are Hindus, all of them. We are the only Fijians, but they understand English and Fijian language fluently.

I’ve told ____ your greetings and he is so glad and is sending you back his greetings too. I have been sending booklets through post boxes, (and) one of them is a guy who is an ex-Fulton student. Now he is running a Health and Vegetarian Centre. He mixes juice from fruits and vegetables and also giving exercises lessons. But he is very particular and very careful to listen to Independent Ministries and that’

s the only way I can reach him with the message is to get his address and send him booklet, like what I am doing now. It’s school break now so it’s the time for me and my grandchildrens to give out tracts in ____ and ____. I am traveling to ____ and ____ again which is our destination now.

Now this W.C.C. and Seventh-day Adventist booklets is going fast (since) the people are very interested in this booklets. They are coming for it, especially the SDAs. It’s waking them up. Now they are discussing and talking about it, they have never known anything like this before, that’s what they are saying. Now I am photocopying booklets a “Loud Cry and Latter Rain” booklets and the tracts “God’s Last Message of Mercy to the World” (which are) the translated ones. Its been photocopied and given out to the people. So the work here in Fiji is moving on in whatever way the Lord wants to reach the people....

So I hope and pray that the Lord will abundantly bless you and the Ministry and especially your family. So I end this letter again with Numbers 6:24-26.

I have (previously) purchased an old Toshiba brand Laptop computer [second hand] from my friend sold at K500 in 2004. Computer was inbuild with only 4Gb/H-Drive. Early last year the computer did not functioning well, and it caused me a lot of problems and expense to maintain, until it came to stand still on last month.

My dear bro, as you know very well that computer is a most needed and helpful instrument to backup the Ministerial work in Evangelism areas. At this moment I am badly needing another computer to continue running the ministry.

The cheapest selling Laptop computer in PNG at K 2,500 (about US $1000); and now I have K 1,200 with me: K 900 is own expense, and K 300 supported from my local church specified for the computer. Now I'm kindly asking if you or any person could help me with 1,300 (about US $550); for purchasing the Laptop (it would be much appreciated and help the work greatly).

End of this week I will email you some work reports and also sending you the receipt of SOP (books purchased with special donation sent).

Hi! How are you? May this reaches you in good health and in good condition through the guidance of our Lord.

About me and my work here: I’m doing fine through the guidance and blessing of God. These past few weeks, I have met new people and two of them are suffering from sickness. One is suffering from bone cancer for more than 20 years, and the one has breast cancer. The one that is suffering from bone cancer undergo already from different treatment like chemotherapy and many more and was successfully passed the procedure, but her health was still weak. 5 years ago she tried the alternative way of healing. She put away drugs and use only herbal and she change her diet. She is practicing vegetarianism for 5 years now and she testify the benefit of it to her friends especially to a lady who has a breast cancer. When me and bro ____ went to their place, they were happy that they met us. They keep on asking us about health, especially how we prepare and cook our food, and where we buy some stuff we use for cooking. We share to them some knowledge we have about health and we keep on visiting them. I hope and pray that this will open the way for them to know the present truth message, for health is the opening wedge and the right arm of the third angel’s message.

Also, about the lady who is our neighbor who I told you before, she is practicing vegetarianism for several months now and are now very conscious to her health and her family's health and welfare. She always love to see me and asked me a lot of questions about health-what to eat, how to cook and many more. We become friends now. I visited her always to their house and teaching and sharing to her about health. I am hoping and praying that these people will not only receive the message on health, but also the present truth message, especially the Sabbath.

I start to become busy now for the preparation for our camp meeting here in ____ this coming April 27. Since we are the host, the burden is ours. But I pray and I know that God will help us and provide us all our needs in this work. What we are doing now is to have faith and do what best we can so that we will pursue this work though there are great trials and clouds of hindrances. I know that our brethren here in ____ need this camp meeting since they experienced it last 2 years ago then (and) because they were not able to attend the camp meeting held in ____ and ____ (last year). This camp meeting will be to them and also for us a great encouragement and a time to establish and strengthen them more in the faith. We need also to be ready and prepare ourselves especially our character and spirit for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this camp meeting. Please pray that this camp meeting will be a success for the glory of God.

FROM UGANDA, EAST AFRICA

Once (again) I say praise the Lord. It is wonderful to hear from you by the way of e-mail and the Newsletter which is turning to a (bi)monthly issue. We need to work round the clock to tell the good news and post our labours for the brothers and sister elsewhere to know that Jesus is still working in the persons of His disciples.

The world is first getting warned that its hour has come to be judged as it came to Sodoma and the surrounding places which were given to vice of all kind. Here we stand to harder work than the one given to righteous Lot in his day which was marked. Ezekiel 16:49 (says) "Sodom's sins were pride, lazinesss and gluttony, while the poor and needy suffered outside her door." We are fast seeing and feeling the same everywhere around and far. Distraction is certain for this generation. Surely this generation may not pass without the Saviour’s coming to claim His own, who (is) vexed with what is happening.

Elder, the enemy is closing most of the doors to reaching out for Christ by absorbing the world (in) commercial lines, political, thrifty, education is now worshiped, military domination, arms research, amusement resorts, entertainment Gospel, and many other amusing things. So here we are called to witness for Christ Jesus.

Had a surprise outreach. I had just gone to console those who had lost a baby of (that) who died during delivery, and surprisingly I was called to help officiate the funeral. Here Christ had prepared (the way so) that I reach more so to the family of bereaved. The father of the lost baby (was) found after a week, and stopped to greet (me) for they stay in ____, and a people I had not known which I believe that God has open their (hearts) to listen to Him.

The other I was called to do help (for was) a brother who has been fellowshipping with Br. ____, but has backslidden. The whole family of this brother were members of our ____ Home Church. By the time the brother took the guts to call, this brother had (gone) too far in sin, even the evil of steeling a bicycle of the younger brother. We talk (to) them as those who have come to share the love of Christ, not as those who had come to judge them, but to share the love (of) Christ and His willingness to forgive and to reclaim them once again. They promised to get back to the (Home) Church, which (we) are prayerfully waiting.

The Kenyan political revolt has greatly affected the prices of everything. (Since) we being a land locked (country), we depend on shores of the Indian ocean for the supply of gas, fuel, etc. But the political flyer of this nation, which is deep seated in the tribes, is far from being solved. We are at a point of our earnest requests, and there seems to (be) a wind of peace, for when Kenya coughs we catch the cold and even other bordering countries.

The Lord has been so good that I have entered (into building) the house, though incomplete. The dust and rodents are giving us sleepless nights, but we thank the Lord that at least we are safe from the mercies of the Landlords, which has been (a) great nightmare where (support) funds have been at low ebb in most times (not enough sent). We have no power, (but) there are still many open places. We are trusting the Lord to finish this good work. I thank all who have been part of the project. Without your helping hands, it would have been not possible (to live here). So God bless (your) hands, (and the) willingness of many hearts to see His work given another lift up.

I have visted homes around this new place, shared with some and praying for them to see God's will for them, in (the) question of His law (and) more (specifically about) the Sabbath day.

Thanks for the Bibles and monthly support which keeps us moving and reaching out to several persons.

Thanks for your prayers which I believe God hears and answers in the best wisdom to those who love Him. I have (been) sick on and off for almost (a) month. Had nose problem and as if my kidneys are having difficulties ever since the poison taking (been poisoned). But God has been good to me and to rest of His people.

FROM ZAMBIA, CENTRAL AFRICA

I greet you and all the brethren with you in the dear name of our Saviour Jesus. As I wrote to you previously that I want to go into deep medical missionary work, so has the Lord answered my prayer. First and foremost I allow me to say thank you very much for the tremendous letter of introduction you wrote to the District Director of Health here in ____. He called me and I went to meet him and he carried some interviews to check whether I really have knowledge on nutrition. After the interviews he was very happy, and he has allowed me by writing a letter to all the (9) nine clinic centres in ____ to introduce me to his juniors that I will be going there for (to give) these lessons. [Editor’s Note: May God indeed be praised for opening this door!] I had started this programme and so far so good, the program is going on very well. The nutrition lessons is encouraging the HIV/AIDS patients and pregnant mothers to go back to natural food and grow their own simple food stuffs. Besides this, I do teach the eights health laws (which) includes the trust in God, where they are able to see the power of God. I have so far distributed 15 copies of MH (Ministry of Healing), and many want more copies. My programme is very busy as you see it in the scanned copy.

Br. Bob this is the great work that has allowed me to reach the unreached. So far so good. I have been given some home addresses by some of the patients so that I can be visiting them. Our ministry (LTBL) is getting known at all the clinics now. Br. Bob, for the past one month and half that I have been with these patients, I have seen that most of them are vulnerable--both children and elders. Even when I teach them of the correct foods and way of preparing their meals, most of them cannot even afford to buy the very simple food stuff or grow them because they are really poor. Because of this I came up with a project proposal and I will send this copy so that you can look at it and kindly give it to some brethren who can help in this project (on opening a health food and herbal store, which needs $5000 to get it going). As I preach and teach these people with theory, they also need physical help. The word of God is going fast through medical missionary work. Another thing is that I drive for 600+km per week with these clinics and the farthest place I go is about 160km to and fro on every Thursdays. And according to the car am using I need about 70 litres (of gas) per week. And this costs $65 by 4 weeks (or $260 per month). I therefore ask the Lord through His workers who are my great supporters to help me fulfill these programs to reach the unreached. Some of these need even second hand clothes once in a while, and some nutritional food stuffs even once in three months before they are put on ARVs. My research shows that if HIV/AIDS patients are put on ARVs while they are on poor diet , they die within two to three weeks. This happened to my late sister ____ and it is happening to many. But if they are first helped with good nutrition before they are on ARVs, they will pick up and the CD4 count will increase. Please br. Bob look at this project proposal and kindly ask other brethren who can help with this.

I will work with this programme and witness to many as long as the Lord will give me strength. So far I have received another call in ____ from the hospital manager to go and do the same there as the place is in great danger with this pandemic (of AIDS). I also need a lot of MH copies for this programme, as I have more than 1600 patients to meet. God be with you all and will wait to hear from you.

FROM ZIMBABWE, AFRICA

"But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things."Ephesians 6:21.

I am once again taking this opportunity to highlight some of the little efforts done in the advancement of the kingdom of heaven particularly in Zimbabwe. There was much moving up and down across the country, both edifying the separated brethren in the faith and trying to win souls to Christ. However, despite experiencing shortages of enough means I did much of photocopying some of the tracts and distributing them to non-SDAs and also to some SDAs. Also alongside that line of work, I also had much work in replying to some letters, some of which were invitation letters and some asking for literature. Therefore, I sent literature to one individual from ____, but the big problem I am facing is for those of the less educated class who are appealing for literature of their own language. This is also why I have once again resumed that work of translation, hoping that maybe soon, by the grace of God, it will solve the problem.

We did not manage to deal yet with some of the erroneous doctrines of brother ____ as he turned down the appointment on the set date, and we are still working on meeting this same brother at least this month. I had an opportunity to attend one Sabbath with brother ____ family, and we were very blessed being together for (after) so long a time.

One of the most interesting times of this last month was when I was invited and finally attended one of the Adventist churches in the rural areas. It was quite a thriller, for I first had to visit the Elder of that church and I held a fascinating discussion with him over the present truth, and finally he gave me permission to visit some of his members in their homes prior to the Sabbath. I had a wonderful time sharing with these believers some of the astounding truths they have never known. Without prejudice, there arose an interest that even myself was disturbed and could not understand.

On the Sabbath a group of about 28 believers gathered together to hear from me including the Elder of that church. I, by the grace of God, delivered a sermon on the Parable of the Net bringing out important truths of separation and judgement. And in the afternoon I was still given the opportunity to proceed with a lesson developing the same subjects as I went on to illustrate these subjects with the Parables of the Wheat and Tares and also the Ten Virgins. However, I could not manage to finish all that I was expecting to give that day, and surprisingly I was given another invitation this month (to come back and continue the sermon). May you please join with me in praying for this church as the Lord might work so mightily.
