THE SECRET RAPTURE and the SECOND COMING of CHRIST

Many honest Christians believe that Christ is going to come back to this earth in two ways--one being in secret, the other visible. The former will be silent in which Christ comes to secretly rapture or remove His followers from earth before the great time of trouble and tribulation occurs. Then after several years, the visible and literal appearing of Christ will take place in which those who were not ready during the time of the secret rapture will have a second chance to make themselves ready throughout the tribulation, after which Christ will come to save them.

There are many Bible texts regarding the second coming of Christ. But do any of these refer to a silent or secret return, or do they all speak about the same visible glorious event? Let us find out what the unerring Scriptures teach.

The apostle Paul reveals that the coming of Christ to this earth will be as follows:

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.

Paul declared that when Christ should come, there would be a shout; a voice; a trumpet; the righteous dead would be resurrected, and along with the righteous living, would be caught up from the earth to meet the Lord in the clouds never to part again.

The apostle John reveals that the coming of Jesus to this earth will be as follows:

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.” Revelation 1:7.

John declared that when Christ should come, it would be with clouds, and every eye on the earth would miraculously see him, and all the kindreds of the earth who have rejected Him would wail.

The patriarch David reveals that the coming of Jesus to this earth will be as follows:

“Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” Psalms 50:3-5.

David declared that when Christ should come, it would not be in silence, but would be a time of judgment with fire burning up and devouring those judged unworthy; and God would gather His saints from the earth to be with Him--being those who have sacrificed all to follow Him.

The prophet Jeremiah reveals that the coming of the Lord to this earth will be as follows:

“...The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword...And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth…” Jeremiah 25:30-31, 33.

Jeremiah declared that when Christ comes, He would mightily utter His voice; a shout would be given; it would be noisy throughout the earth; the Lord would plead with or judge all the people, and all the wicked would be slain.

And Christ Himself reveals what His coming to this earth will be like:

“...then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:30-31.

Christ declared that when He returns the second time, it would be with a sign; all people on the earth would see Him coming in the clouds of heaven and with power and great glory; the great majority of all the people of the earth would not be happy, but would mourn; there would be a great sound of a trumpet; and God would gather His obedient elect to Himself from every part of the world.

All of the above Scriptures are in complete harmony with each other regarding what it will be like when Christ comes back to this earth in the last days. Signs will occur just prior to His arrival. Every eye on the earth, every person of every nation and tribe will see Him return in power and great glory; there will be great noise, a shout, a heavenly voice, and a great loud trumpet will sound; the righteous dead will be resurrected from their graves, and together with the living righteous will be caught up into the air to meet their Lord in the clouds because they chose to sacrifice all to follow and obey God. While all the rest of earth’s inhabitants will be burned up by the glorious and bright devouring fire surrounding the Lord because they chose not to obey Him, but were wicked and thus judged unworthy of everlasting life.

As you can clearly see, the Scriptures declare that there is definitely nothing silent when our Lord returns to this earth, because it will be with great noise, shouting, and a great trumpet blowing. And the unerring Scriptures also declare that there is definitely nothing secret when Christ returns either, because every person on this earth will see Him in the clouds of the air, and will either be taken to heaven to forever be with the Lord, or will be destroyed. Thus the doctrine of a silent or secret rapture is nowhere to be found in the Scriptures, because when Christ returns it will be visible for all to see!

Since the Scriptures do not teach there will be a secret rapture, where did this doctrine and belief come from? This doctrine came from a Presbyterian woman while she was in a trance! “The idea of a two stage coming of Christ (one secret and the other visible) first came to a Scottish lass, Miss Margaret MacDonald of Port Glasgow, Scotland, while she was in a ‘prophetic’ trance.” M.L. Moser, An Apologetic of Premillenialism, p 28. So the doctrine of the secret rapture has no foundation in the word of God, but derives it’s origin from a mystic trance!

But what about those Scriptures which declare that the Lord will come as “a thief in the night;” surely this backs up the belief in a secret rapture? But the apostle Peter tells us:

“...the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word (of God) are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men....The Lord is...longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 Peter 3:7, 9-10.

Peter declared, in harmony with the rest of Scripture, that when Christ returns it would be with great noise, and fervent heat which melts and burns up the earth. There is definitely nothing silent or secret about this! It should then be obvious that the phrase of Christ coming “as a thief in the night” does not have reference to a secret rapture, but to individuals being surprised, caught unprepared, and who are not ready for their Lord's return.

But what about those Scriptures which talk of one being taken and the other being left behind (see Matthew 24:37-41); surely this backs up the belief in a secret rapture?

In this Scripture, Christ was drawing a parallel between the time of His coming versus the time of Noah and the flood--and there certainly was nothing secret about the flood! Those who entered the ark were saved, while those who refused to follow God's direction for salvation were left outside. But what were they left for? For another chance of salvation? NO! They were left for destruction!

But what about the belief that Christ would rapture all of His people off the earth before the time of trouble, tribulation, persecution, and the working of Satan with lying wonders?

The prophet Daniel declared that “there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was...And at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” Daniel 12:1.

The apostle John declared that God's righteous people who were living when Christ returned to earth would be those “which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes (characters), and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Revelation 7:14.

And the apostle Paul revealed the timing when the coming of Christ to this earth would take place:

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him (Christ) whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12.

So Daniel, John, and Paul plainly declare that the coming of Christ and the deliverance of God's faithful saints cannot take place until after the great tribulation, after the time of trouble, and after the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders. These deceive all who live in unrighteousness because they do not love and follow the truth, and all these would be destroyed with the brightness of His coming. In fact, Christ Himself prayed that His Father would not take His people “out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” John 17:15.

Since there is no time in which a silent or secret rapture of God's people from this earth will take place, then there is no second chance for salvation!

“...Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts…” Hebrews 3:15.

“...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2.

May we understand that “salvation is far from the wicked” (Psalms 119:155), because they do not do God's will nor keep His commandments, and thus they continue to commit sin (1 John 3:3-10). Let us instead make sure that we are prepared now for our Saviour's return, so that His coming does not “overtake” or catch any of us unprepared as “a thief in the night” and we be lost.

May we be the “children of the day” (1 Thessalonians 5:5) who confess and forsake their sins (Proverbs 28:13); those who walk in the light of Christ; those who “fear God and keep his commandments” (Ecclesiastes 12:13), and who “hold fast [to Christ] and repent” (Revelation 3:3). May we be diligent to make our “calling and election sure” (2 Peter 1:10), knowing that God will not allow any of His people to suffer “above that ye are able” (1 Corinthians 10:13). May we realize that “all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12), and that it is only through patiently enduring these “fiery darts” (Ephesians 6:10-17), and “the fiery trial” (1 Peter 4:12-14), and any persecution that our faith or gold is being “tried in the fire” (Revelation 3:18). And if we are proven true, standing “fast in the faith” (1 Corinthians 16:13) and being found faithful to the end, then we will “obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” and will “live together with him” (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10) forever in “the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:10).

“Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is...And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” Mark 13:33, 37.

As you may know, Presents of God Ministry and our Ministry have been working on getting our present truth sermons from Video onto DVD! For the last 1+ years, one problem after another came up, but finally the Lord allowed us to get the right equipment, software, and to work out all the rest of the problems. So one by one, all our sermons will soon be available, not just in Video, but also on DVD! The Lord is also continuing to bless our TrueChurchofGod.info Web Site. In the month of July we had 10,140 hits, which were generated by 2,359 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, over 6,379 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 455 million bits of information were downloaded.

In the month of August we had 10,228 hits, which were generated by 2,276 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 6,602 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 429 million bits of information were downloaded!

In the month of September we had 9,643 hits, which were generated by 2,453 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 5,933 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 485 million bits of information were downloaded. So for these past 3 months, over 1.37 billion bits of information were downloaded from our Gospel Truth Web Site by over 7,000 visitors!

The Lord is also abundantly blessing our LightMinistries.com Web Site. In the month of July we had 158,822 hits, which were generated by 21,163 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 83,727 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 9.56 billion bits of information were downloaded.

In the month of August we had 123,702 hits, which were generated by 18,466 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 72,244 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 8.52 billion bits of information were downloaded!

In the month of September we had 136,628 hits, which were generated by 20,162 visitors! In these Visitor Sessions, 74,470 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 7.73 billion bits of information were downloaded! So for these 3 months alone, over 25.8 billion bits of information were downloaded from our Present Truth Web Site by over 59,700 visitors! MAY GOD'S HOLY NAME BE PRAISED FOR EVER!!

We are currently supporting several workers in many different Countries on a monthly basis. We check into the economy of each area and supply a base support which is adequate depending on their situation, but not extravagant. This base support is to ensure that the monthly needs of each worker and family is met for that month so that the worker may devote full time to the ministry work. In addition to this, we are sending extra materials for evangelism, and money for printing, publishing, holding meetings, traveling, and other necessary areas in spreading the Present Truth in their Country. And as the work extends, especially will the expenses for evangelism expand. Whatever you can send to help in this necessary and vital area is greatly appreciated.

The work of spreading God's present truth is not to be limited, but must extend world-wide to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people before our Saviour can come (Matthew 24:14). What better way of spreading the present truth gospel than by having workers who speak the native language, who reside in that particular Country, who can live and preach the truth, visit the interests in their homes, and spread the printed truth translated into their common language!

"Our publications should be printed in other languages, that foreign nations may be reached. Much can be done through the medium of the press, but still more can be accomplished if the influence of the living preacher goes with our publications....The Lord has moved upon men of other tongues and has brought them under the influence of the truth, that they might be qualified to labor in His cause." Testimonies, vol 3, p 204-205.

I received your letter...How grateful I am for though I haven't sent you some amount for world financial help you are still and regularly sending me correspondence. May God always bless you for your concern. In my side, I did my best to do God's work.

Now it is more than three years of my Radio Broadcast (10 days every month...). And the latest news I could tell you is, besides of sporadic baptisms and affiliations, as a result of the program there is now a couple, Mr & Mrs ____ -- a pastor of United Methodist Church who came to see me on ____ confessing that they want to affiliate with us leaving his church and admitting his conversion to Sabbath truth by a long period of listening (to the broadcast). Indeed on the Sabbath of ____ the couple started the Sabbath worship. (Editor's note: may God be praised!)

Another news, the other month I have conducted a Public Ministry (Tent Effort) in ____ a barrio of the town ____. As a result three families of Adventist backsliders were revived having now a (new) house worship (Home Church). That is my work, if I am not on my Radio schedule I used to held public Crusade or Ministry and shepherding especially the newly converted ones....

On the other hand, while I am busy on my Ministry we are alert about the imminent political crises here. You know, we had a former pastor by the name of Ruperto ____ who was warned by the "Knights of Columbus" in ____ that if he will not stop preaching about the Sabbath he will not long be beheaded, claiming that other Adventists (under the G.C.) are already in fellowship with them....

Somehow (God will supply more funds). For me to devote my time in Ministry my wife doubled her time in dressmaking for our daily needs.

How are you, my brother? It is nice to be alive and kicking again. I've been to hell and back. It is so great to be alive. Thank you for remembering me. I am better now and I am sure I will be resuming full responsibilities.

I am very broken and I am being sick for so many months, I almost flat out. At the moment I am learning how to walk again. I've been sick from December till now. I am much better now....

FROM KENYA, EAST AFRICA

To report (about medical missionary work): Coughing - 14 people; Convulsion - 1 person; Chest pain - 2; Fungus - 1; High blood Pressure - 2; Flue - 1; Headache - 3; Malaria - 1; Muscle pool - 1; Muscle pain - 2; Stomach Cramp - 1; Swollen foot - 1; Wound - 1...; Cut - 1; Eye problem - 2; Toothache - 1.

We have been in one effort for two weeks at ____ which (is) an area of Sunday keepers. It was hard to penetrate but God helped us stay safely though some booklets and tracts were torn and burned....

Everything has it's wonders even darkness and silence, and l learn, whatever state l may be in, therein be content....

It has become a busy season than before because when we finish from one place immediately we go to another place. ____ camp was over well.

Thank you so much dear one for your support books and financial support which has enabled me and my fellow workers to move forward aggressively. The month of July and August was the busiest months ever; we managed to contact several efforts and camp meetings. The effort meeting of July was successful, the workers were moved by the power of the Holy Spirit (and) they present the message with power and in love. Nevertheless the enemy was not asleep, He try to hinder that work through threats, our books (God’s True Church, Jeremiah and God’s Last Call) (was) also burned down and torn down, but the Lord was among us. That was Catholic and Protestant dominating area.

After that I went to another one week effort in ____ (and) the Lord helped us too in this effort. We all work harmoniously and the message was presented with power. The area were moved by this messages and as we were summing up, they came forward and declared to unite with us, we praise the Lord for that.

And as we finished that effort I went to ____ camp meeting (twelve hours drive from where I live). Whereby we met with two other ministers. This place of ____ is semi-desert area. At this season of the year that area is dry, all trees are stripped of their foliage except the evergreen of the desert. All rivers even big rivers were completely dry up. The situation of the area was so alarming, the famine was so terrible, people could stay several days without food. Several time they depend on desert honey when the government has not supplied them with food. We sympathized greatly with them but we had nothing to give them except few support of the camp. But funny thing which led us to glory the Lord was that, in that situation, they could walk several distances to save souls who are in darkness. We have one full-time worker from that area who have devoted himself to work for the Lord, he is working without any support. Oh friends I request you to extend your hand of support to this area that we may buy them food and clothes. Also I request you to support this full-time worker that he may continue to raise the banner of truth in that area.

God bless you in all your work to His glory. I'm now back home after a series of meetings throughout the last month, the last of which was a camp organized by brethren at ____ border. It (was) wonderfully blessed. The brethren are to work unitedly with like-minded worldwide.

We have come to a time in our history that is very crucial. Religious laws are trickling into the constitution now in progress. Kenyans will go to the referendum on Nov 21 on it. Brothers remembers in your prayers as we do for you here, because in that we can help one another through the sanctuary.

Brethren from ____ have informed me they are in need of support to sustain the December camp. This is but to let you know that we are in working terms with them after the disturbance that came in December (last year). God willing, it is a case to consider as much is seriously hit this year with inflation and poor rains....

My heart beats high with joy as we see the prophecies come to pass daily before our very eyes. What greater comfort could we get from the Lord!

From June, I have been busy, away from home several weeks with brief intermittent breaks. In June, ministers visited our ____ brethren following a disturbance with subsequent division of brethren. After meeting with both groups and sharing together, they agreed to continue pressing together for the good of the message and the glory of God. After that the ministers met in ____ and had prayers together.

I went down to ____ where I was involved in making ready for the July effort. We did much house to house work. Thanks to God for the booklets and pamphlets. In July, we had the effort running for two weeks ending on Aug. 6. We went down to ____ to attend camp, after which, I went to ____ Revival retreat till Aug. 21, while ____ and ____ joined hands with others in an effort at ____ where Brothers ____ and ____ were two years ago persecuted. The ____ retreat proved indeed a revival of all in attendance as the 1888 message was revisited, bringing out the history, issues, content, and consequent result of the reaction to it, all anew. There were heartfelt confessions and recommitment of brethren. In fact, I arrived home yesterday burdened with the impressions of the retreat. Brothers ____ and ____ led out in the righteousness by faith lessons, and myself in prophecy.

Before coming down home, we read your information in ____ and it was such an encouragement, because brothers enroute (to) ____ for camp got something to boost their provision. Glory be to God. Brothers ____, ____ and ____ have gone down to ____.

With all such apparently good tidings, we need much of your prayers as we see trials increasing as we see the end nearer. All possible support is solicited because inflation is beating Kenya hard and all the many errands being made by ministers these days.

Glory! Glory! to the Lord that gives us victory in Christ Jesus our Lord.

General christian greetings in Jesus Name. Fellow pilgrim, we are still amid the shadows and turmoil of earthly activities; but soon our Saviour is to appear to bring deliverance and rest....Soon the battle will have been fought, the Victory won. Soon we shall see Him in Whom our hopes of Internal life are centered and in His presence the trials and sufferings of this life will seem nothingness. AG 372.

As satan doubles his work, God also is giving more strength to His people to continue with the loud cry. Current events are foretelling of the imminent return of our long awaited Redeemer.

I thank God greatly that His hand is taking the reigns of His work in that where men and satan tries to hinder the work God intervenes and adjusts matters. Although since the beginning of this year, the work has been so bad, God has adjusted matters and the year will end with great success. From late July, through earlier September, we have had successful conservative camp meetings which have revived the spirit of primitive godliness and union of old friends in different parts of our country. In August 14th to 21st, we had a wonderful revival efforts at the place where our brothers were persecuted and our PAS (Public Address System) was taken. God did great that some of the criminals gave themselves to the Lord and asked for forgiveness saying that they were deceived. From 21st to 28th that month, we went to ____ camp meeting (where) God had re-united the home churches.

Thank you very much for the support of the work which has helped so much. People are dying there due to hunger (because) for four years they have never rain. May God help our donors to help them. From 29th to 4th September, we travelled to southern ____ District for a camp where we have never gone since and God did great there. The presentation of prophecy, church history, the gospel and family religion has helped so much. The subject of church history and family religion is helping us so much for satan is trying to destroy the message and the churches by attacking families. So the message of family religion is helping our people so much because if the family is corrupted, the church also is corrupted, and if families are united, the church is also united.

May God help you to continue with the work there by the grace of God. Pray also for us that the work may continue.

Thanks unto our God and Lord for now the work is seen being in His hands and soon the work of salvation will end. Last month I was at ____ camp meeting where big number attended which I have not seen since I separated to this last call. Both Kenyans and Tanzanians attended. From Tanzania great testimonies were given, and the evangelist from TZ told us that Jesuits are many in their country. (He) revealed to us about one case (where) a (SDA) pastor (had) died, (and) when (another SDA pastor was) preparing for his burial, Catholics came with document proving that he (the dead SDA pastor) belonged to them. The pastor had worked in S.D.A. for many years....

Soon I am praying to lead a team of brethren to visit this retired pastor but I am requesting 10,000 Kenyan money (about $135 US) for traveling, please may you assist us so as reach him.

____ is coming up with great determination. Pray for them, they are in need of Bibles and shade where they can be assembling for prayers.

Masses: I am seeing them separating to join the movement, but to face the fact that the team is weak due to (not enough workers) amongst us superiors are there. We need prayers so as to Philippians 2:5,6.

It is my hope you are receiving the sufficiency of grace by which only you can measure up to your call with its posts, responsibilities and accountability. By His grace God is constantly teaching His people the way of salvation. As he led the Israelites by the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, so he is doing to His Israel today. In a special way He has taught me this lesson that I now know better what it means that “the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning.

This is clear in what is happening in whatever perspective we may look into the work of God in our movement. For instance in my place, we have witnessed the following experience: Prayerfully we opened a small naturopathic clinic, in town some nearly three years ago. In it we placed some of our few books to lend to whoever may wish as common libraries do. In that work we have kept a diligent watch. God has shown us great things by this work. Among them, a physical thing one, we have received thirty acres of land for sanitarium from local government, though the whole process has not been accomplished. It became then our prayer that God may lead us into His establishment of that. But His answer forthcoming appears opposite of our plans and desires.

By the study of the word and the providential leading we have been led to see other duties we must turn our attention to. And the two cannot be done together. Thus we have been led to close down our clinic last month. Other many things indicative that the Lord is taking us in His own plan are many. We planned to have a big evangelistic effort this summer here in our town. We have been prayerfully working and watching to that end. We even desired for its support!! But so far all signs show us otherwise and we know God is in control. We have faith in this leading.

He has regenerated our hearts by His mighty word. We are His work and His vessels. The salvation of the souls around and far from us is His great purpose, He will surely accomplish it. And to have a part in that work we must follow as He leads the way. Just as the Israel host was to learn to follow the cloudy pillar so we must learn to follow His leading submissively. This we must do thought it may come against our desires and even planned projects. Thus our part is to do a humble, obedient service.

Some times Israelites stayed in a place for many days while in other times traveled non stop for weeks except on Sabbaths. O that all God’s people may learn this lesson! Then His work would go with power!

FROM PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Been acting on our Yearly Planner. As usual we camped out for (our) Loud Cry Camp meeting...Five hours drive from home to campsite. It brought together all workers, regular members and new interests from nine different churches/areas to share experiences.

I took 7 nightly studies on End Time Events and daily sessions on Discipleship and Evangelism. Young people were encouraged to go forward as voluntary missionaries in God's field.

On Sabbath, we were surprised to see uninvited visitors. They were all from (the SDA) Conference Church, they are pioneers. We welcomed them warmly. After Sabbath Services, we went for another (few) hours for further discussion with them. A senior man said, "God's presence are withdrawn from our (SDA Conf.) churches now. I trust that God is with you (Home Church/Group). Go forward and do His will." At the end of the discussion, they requested for another program....

____ home church folks has remained back at the campsite waiting for another meeting to come with a group of young laymen. We arrived at the (new) campsite after a week's rest. Evangelistic program commenced...Every night we saw the number of people increased....During the day time we went for market preaching and distributed many English/Pidgin tracts, booklets and health leaflets. Dozens of couples with (a) few young people took their stand for the truth. Praise God for those, and we need your daily prayers to strengthen them in faith....

Pastor ____ and team left for ____...The 2nd series of meetings was held at ____ (which is) dominated by Catholic and SDA Conference. The highlight of the series were six families with their children from SDA Conference with backslidden from Catholic church joined the ranks.

Pidgin tracts are now starting to be mailed out around different areas in hundreds and thousands. My friend, I thank the Lord and praise Him for many people who are deeply blessed and they appreciate those Pidgin tracts and Bibles....I want another (master of the) Pidgin tract (on) Armageddon from your end for printing.

Friends, work in Papua New Guinea is progressing well. And we for sure believe that God is in control. Men and women all over, regardless of what denomination they come from, are moving to accept the truth. The fields are wide, (and) the workers are few in number, but with the mighty power of God the work in moving forward.

Thank you for your support in prayers and other means of extending this gospel commission in this Country. Many souls are coming to know the Lord. Praise God for that....

People of ____ were very open and eager to accept present truth in their areas...Brother ____ and ____ are the devoted Christians and current leaders serving as church Deacons and Clerk in ____ SDA Conference Church. With few church officers and members they decided to arrange a week program in their village without the official approval from the church pastor or board meeting. They invited us to run a week program and (we) explain to them the Omega of Apostasy flooding in their SDA Conference Organization. Below is (a copy of) their invitation letter....I replied and postponed the program (already scheduled to run in order to accept their invitation), and when we arrived on the 14th, they welcomed us warmly.

We began our program and it ran successfully. God blessed us with a fine weather and each night we attracted more than 4-5 hundred people to attend the meeting. I would like to thank the Lord and praise His wonderful Name because He wants His people to be totally separated from the life destroying apostasies which (have) flooded the Christian churches today....We exposed every bit of apostasies (we knew) creeping in...

Other Conference/Church officers with their church pastors are (were) trying to rebel (cause trouble) with us, but it does not work out. Also, (they tried) stopping their members from attending the program, but they (some of their own leaders) arranged this meetings, and majorities attended.

On the Sabbath, ____ SDA Conference/Church (was) divided leaving only one quarter (of their members) worshipping with their pastor, while three quarters attended our program. They saw the big difference among themselves. Every night after (the) main study, people remained back for another hour of further discussions. They asked me a lot of questions.

On the final night after the main worship, they came up with their final decision to build their own separate home church, and it's confirmed. Seven main preachers and leaders declared their public stand to uphold Historic Adventist Faith (and separated from the SDA Conference Church)...(Editor's note: May God be praised!)

Christian greetings!

May the love of God be with us all as we continue working in His vineyard. I’m praying that the seeds of truth sown will spring in the hearts of those who have heard our message. I’m thankful also to you brother for the financial help you’ve sent me. May God ever bless you.

The work here in the Philippines is going good and widening in the Lord’s direction. I arrived here in ____ last week and after a rest, now I have a more free time to write you regarding my work laid on me by our Saviour Jesus Christ. In ____ there are 14 souls who were now fellowshipping with us to hear truths about reformation. I remember when we first accepted the message in 1994 we immediately held a camp meeting in our area where a lots of message to make us strong was given. That is why I thought of having it here also in ____ to make them strong too in the Lord. You know before I leave, brethren told me that their reformation would not be completed if they will not be baptized. They wanted now to be baptized and were happy to make it in the coming camp meeting. We are proposing to have at least a mini camp meeting in ____ to strengthen our brethren there and when I told them about it they are very happy to have it done. While I was working, I was informed that my mom was in the hospital. I was too much burden about the news and after crying to the Lord He gave me assurance that my mom will be okay, so in God’s grace I was comforted. After a time I received a message that my mom was recovering from serious illness, thank God!

Another thing was those who have heard our message in ____ sent me a message while I was in ____ that they are waiting for me, so I told them when I’m home I will visit them. My mom was requesting me also to visit them in ____ for there are also believers there who are waiting for my missionary visit. As you can see that the work is enlarging in God’s grace.

Also here in ____, the policeman I told you that I met before; he is now attending our Sabbath service even I was not here in our church in ____. While in ____ he sent me a message that the book Great Controversy that he was reading gave him a great light about the reformation. He said that he has a knowledge about Lutheranism but was now much enlightened with the book I gave him. Last Sabbath he attended our Sabbath service. In one occasion a new brother ask him something about business, I was sitting beside them. He answered that brother that it is not good to have a business talks on Sabbath day. In this I saw in him that truly the Lord enlightens him. I pray that may he continue to be with the Lord’s church and in the truth. His wife is also a policewoman. He told me that he is planning to leave his work as a policeman because he said that their organization is a demon’s organization, and being employed there he cannot keep that Sabbath wholly.

I also visited those whom I am giving a bible studies for our local area here in ____ though some are nowhere to be found but some are still very willing for me to continue giving them a bible study.

In all these I am very thankful to the Lord that in all my travels He ever blessed me. One of these was while I’m on the board in the bus going home from ____ to ____ I’m praying that God may help me to arrive early in the ____ terminal so that I can reach the last trip going to our town, if not, I will be sleeping in the terminal sitting in the chair whole night after a long run of travel. The last trip will leave at 7 pm but I arrived at almost 9 pm. I asked the people there in the terminal but they told me that there are no more trips to leave. I was hoping still that God will give me, so I went to the van terminal and I was blessed. The van drivers are waiting and when I rode the car even I was only one we departed for 2 hours drive. The driver told to me that there was a man talked to him and told him to wait for him before he leave because he will ride his van, but after a time of waiting I came and we departed for the man whom they are waiting did not come. A very special trip was given me of God. After two hours I was in our house and I can rest from a weary travel. Thank God!

Brother Bob thank you so much for all your financial help and for every prayer offered for us in the work here in the Philippines. The work now is enlarging and extending and the budget that I am receiving now is not sufficient for these needs. Please consider these! I’m praying that may the supporters of "Let There Be Light" Ministry will continue their financial support that fast and effective method of labor can be done in God’s direction....

Hi! how are you?...I am very sorry for the delayed report. It is because that my computer got some big trouble again that is why I wasn't able to send to you those translations that I did. Also I got problems with my e-mail add, and now this is my new e-mail add. As of now my computer is still under repair. The enemy is really mad with what I am doing that is why he is attacking my tools in doing God's work. Though I am very careful in using my computer, so that it will not get some problem, but satan is always troubling me and my work.

But praise the Lord for bringing us courage to continue in His service. Though I can't do my work now in translating our booklet until my computer get okay, I'm on (doing) medical missionary (work). I believe that we need to revive it again since a lot of people are sick and in sin and we need to point them to our Saviour for the healing of the soul. We need to teach them the natural way of healing. (Editor's note: Amen!) In doing this we can open for them our message especially the Sabbath which is being transgressed universally. This is God's agencies to call sin-sick souls especially now in this last days.

So please pray for us here especially our plan of work in serving the Lord. Our country now is in big problem, and the statesmen are saying that the solution for the crisis that is happening is the charter change. They are trying to remove from us our religious liberty, and we know that this is the fulfillment of the prophecy. Jesus is coming very soon. Calamities after calamities happened in every country all over the world and we need to do our part in giving warnings to the people.

May God find us all ready and prepared is my only prayer. God bless you!

Precious greetings from this end. The Lord has been good and has shown His mercies to us in that we are not consumed. His mercies are new every morning.

I have been invited to share the present truth with brethren of ____ and ____. They have organized a camp meeting and at moment I'm financially in bad shape. They will need some small assistance in form of contribution to meet some expenses. It is my earnest prayer that some helping hand be given and prayers...Brethren please be of great help for there shall be a big reward for those who have pushed in financial capital to the Gospel. Friends this is an opportunity to open the people's eyes to him who has saved us, as our only trust to whom all our dependence should be born.

We have done work of giving booklets. Br ____ took some to ____ and brother ____ took some to ____ (where) we are circulating truth by use of these silent messengers. Brother ____ has promised to take some to ____ we believe the Lord is doing something with these messengers.

I have done personal evangelism in different homes people we visited, most were welcoming and promising to believe the testimony of the true witness.

Brethren thanks a lot for your prayers and you unwearied support you have given for His service this side and else where in the world. The Apostle has got these encouraging words to share with us "For God is not unrighteous to forget your labor of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister" Hebrews 6:10.

We are living in a season of great want, and poverty is striding to overwhelm us, and this being one of the tools of the foe (to) take money from Gods true people so that truth is not transported abroad. But we a high priest who is touched with every infirmity we experience. He is more than able to supply all our needs, through him who loved us -- even Christ Jesus. I understand (this poverty) in the persons of His saints....

The Good Lord opened up new places for His great work in that we visited ____ in ____. The brothers had written to me some time back, and they wanted help in understanding the Gospel Order. How the Lord would like His Church to run in this our time, the administration of His work; (this) was the great question for these brothers...(But they did not listen).
