"There are many precious truths contained in the Word of God, but it is `PRESENT TRUTH' that the flock needs now." Early Writings, p 63.

Dear brothers and sisters,
     1 John 3:1.

Many are desirous to fulfill God's will in bringing about unity under Gospel Order among the separated brethren, but they do not know how to?  Especially is there a lack of understanding on how to simply organize our home churches without falling into the trap of a hierarchy as did the SDA church which we have come out from.  Thus there is justified fear, but this fear has been allowed to hinder us from establishing any kind of organization--even the simple kind of church structure which God requires.
"...many...were fearful that church organization would bring us under condemnation.  We sought the Lord with earnest prayer that we might understand His will, and light was given to us by His Spirit, that there must be order and thorough discipline in the church,--that organization was essential.  System and order are manifest in all the works of God throughout the universe.  Order is the law of heaven, and it should be the law among God's people on the earth." RH 10-12-05.

"I was shown that some have been fearing they should become Babylon if they organize...And now unless the churches are so organized that they can carry out and enforce order, they have nothing to hope for in the future.  They must scatter into fragments....A spirit has been cherished to watch and accuse, rather than to build.  If ministers of God would unitedly take their position and maintain it with decision, there would be a uniting influence among the flock of God.  Separating bars would be broken to fragments.  Hearts would flow together and unite like two drops of water.  Then there would be power and strength in the ranks." RH 8-27-61.

Are we to fear God as the first angel's message states, or are we to fear uniting with one another?  Are we to continue forgetting Christ's words of being one with each other as He is one with His Father?  Are we going to continue to esteem ourselves better than others by refusing to unite with our true brethren?  Or are we going to start esteeming others better than ourselves, the ministry and work of others just as important if not more important than our own?  Are the separated Ministries and ministers to continue working as independent atoms in their own private way completely separate of any responsibility or accountability among their brethren--with a no greater working relationship than "you scratch my back and I'll possibly scratch yours"?   And are we to continue allowing Satan free and ready access to our home churches to bring in and cause division and dissension at will?  The only way we can stop Satan, and fulfill God's will in bringing unity among us, is to come under Gospel Order!
"I saw that this door at which the enemy comes in to perplex and trouble the flock can be shut.  I inquired of the angel how it could be closed.  He said, `The church must flee to God's Word and become established upon gospel order, which has been overlooked and neglected.'  This is indispensably necessary in order to bring the church into the unity of the faith." EW 100.

God wants His people to stop giving lip service to the idea of unity among us and start bringing it about.  God wants us to act as one strong unit in establishing His home churches and Ministries upon His principles of Gospel Order.
But what kind of home church order and organization will please God today?   God, ever faithful and merciful to His separated people, clearly reveals just what type of simple organization He requires.
"Simple organization and church order are set forth in the New Testament Scriptures, and the Lord has ordained these for the unity and perfection of the church." Paulson Collection, p 298.

So the New Testament Scriptures--which has its foundation in the Old Testament--is where God has placed His instruction for the organizing of His separated people and home churches of today.  This organization is especially shown in the simple structure and order of the Apostolic church.  As you study through the Scriptures to understand how to set up Gospel Order, the following becomes clear:
The beginning or the foundation of our home church structure and organization is Jesus Christ (see Isaiah 28:16; 1 Peter 2:4, 8; 1 Corinthians 3:11; John 14:6; Luke 6:48; 2 Timothy 2:19).
Upon this sure foundation are placed the pillars of truth which make us a distinctive people--the sanctuary truths including Christ's heavenly ministration; the 2300 days/years and the temple of God; the state of the dead; the Sabbath and the law of God; the first, second, and third angels' messages including the fourth, as well as the interpretations of prophecy in which the majority of the pioneers of Adventism were in agreement and harmony with--see CWE 30; Jeremiah 6:16, Proverbs 9:1 Psalms 11:3; Isaiah 62:10, 49:22; Jer 18:15; Isaiah 58:12; EW 63, 258; 4SP 399, 313, 377, 258; TM 450; 6T 17, 91; 5T 295).
     Upon the pillars rests the building's foundation being the apostles and teachers of God's church (Ephesians 2:20; 2 Corinthians 10:8, 6:3; Acts 16:4, 20:28-31, 26:16; Ezekiel 44:23; Jer 3:15; 1 Cor 1:26-29; Matt 20:25-28).
     Next are placed the Elders (Acts 20:28-31; 1 Tim 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; Exod 18:14-26; 1 Peter 5:1-3; Acts 14:23; Matt 20:25-28).
Next are placed the Deacons (Acts 6:1-6; 1 Tim 3:8-13; AA 87-96, 261).
     Next are the members of the church themselves (1 Peter 2:9; Ephesians 2:18-22; 1 Corinthians 3:9; Isaiah 11:12; Matt 18:20; 1 Tim 3:15; 2 Cor 6:14-17; 1 Cor 1:10, 13, 12:12-31).
On top of all these are the Supreme Leaders of the church--God and Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:19, 5:23-24, 31-32; 1 Kings 18:21; Acts 5:14, 29, 10:34-35; 1 Cor 10:32 11:3).
And surrounding all of this structure, keeping it strong, growing, edified, repaired, convicted, repentant, admonished, enlightened, is the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-18, 26, 16:7-14; Acts 13:2-4; Rev 18:1; Luke 12:12).

So we see pictured, not a hierarchy or a pyramid structure where the Godhead is shut out and church leadership rule and lords it over the servant-members.  But we see a simple strong and perfect square completely surrounded and protected on all sides by the Godhead, completely ruled and instructed by the Godhead, where the church leadership are servants and subject to the membership, and all the membership--including the leadership--are subject one to another.  Thus Christ becomes the only Lord--and not any man or group of men; the greatest in the church is he who is servant unto all--not the one who has the most money or who dictates and commands the loudest or strongest: and all church members, down to the simplest and shyest member, each has a job to do that no one else can perform.
Some may say that such an organization is the ideal goal to be reached, but it is impossible to gain.  This is incorrect, because the early Christian church achieved this in their day, and God would never require His people of today to do anything which was impossible to accomplish.  THE SEPARATED BRETHREN OF TODAY CAN ACHIEVE THIS TYPE OF SIMPLE HOME CHURCH ORGANIZATION--BUT ONLY THOUGH THE STRENGTH OF CHRIST!!
The strongest enemy we face to this type of Gospel Organization is SELF!  Self does not want to die in many of us, and those who do not want to crucify self are the strongest opponents to Gospel Order!  Under gospel order we are no longer separate and independent from our brethren in the same faith, but we are united brethren.  We no longer can follow our will against the will of our united brethren.  We must give up self and be under restraint to God and to our united brethren, thus no one can continue to cling to sin and still be united with his brethren.  This is one of the greatest reasons why there is so much opposition to unity among us--because sin and self would have to be given up if we had this unity!
"Dear self is the most obstinate person the follower of Jesus has to contend with.  There must be humility and forbearance in the church.  Self must be overcome, and those looking for Christ's appearing must possess the power of endurance and self control if they would have God's Spirit with them....
"Then God's people were presented before me.  Oh, the lack of forbearance and patience with one another, the lack of brotherly love, of meekness, of self control, while professing to be followers of Christ, subjects of His special grace!  Oh, what a reproach to Christ!  What a reproach to God's cause!  Brethren and sisters professing His name suffer evil traits to appear in their lives, and they are stumbling blocks to those who have not professed to be Christ's followers." 15MR 124-25.

"Christ gave Himself to the world that He might `purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.'  This refining process is designed to purge the church from all unrighteousness and the spirit of discord and contention, that they may build up instead of tear down, and concentrate their energies on the great work before them....Many do not realize the sacredness of church relationship and are loath to submit to restraint and discipline....they are not careful to guard themselves lest they encourage a spirit of opposition to its voice....Dissensions, unhappy differences, and petty church trials dishonor our Redeemer.  All these may be avoided if self is surrendered to God and the followers of Jesus obey the voice of the church.  Unbelief suggests that individual independence increases our importance, that it is weak to yield our own ideas of what is right and proper to the verdict of the church; but to yield to such feelings and views is unsafe and will bring us into anarchy and confusion." 4T 17-19.

We are NOT advocating that all the home churches come under a centralized structure, but that each home church adopt this same Gospel Order in its midst, and work with every other separated home church which has also adopted this structure of Gospel Order.  If self and sin is allowed to die daily, moment by moment, then we can have and maintain this structure among our individual home churches and brethren.  Each home church can become a secure and strong fortress of God--a place where the divine presence loves to dwell in.  And the only way for Christ's enemy to break into such a secure fortress is for one of its members to turn traitor and betray all their brethren from within--by letting self live and crucifying Christ instead!
"...satanic policy cannot succeed if the people of God will bar the doors against the enemy, and work harmoniously to carry out the divine will.  The foe cannot enter unless the gates are thrown open by traitors within.  If we are but loyal and true, every attack of the enemy will lead us to a firmer reliance upon God, and to more determined effort to carry forward His work, against all opposing influences." ST 12-13-83.

Under gospel order, with each home church a fortress of its own, what do we do if dissensions come in our midst?
"When dissension arose in a local church...and the believers were unable to come to an agreement among themselves, such matters were not permitted to create a division in the church, but were referred to a general council of the entire body of believers, made up of appointed delegates from the various local churches, with the apostles and elders in positions of leading responsibility.  Thus the efforts of Satan to attack the church in isolated places were met by concerted action on the part of all, and the plans of the enemy to disrupt and destroy were thwarted." AA 96.

Some may already agree that Gospel Order is very necessary in our separated movement and home churches, but they do not understand how to set it up, and how to secure unity among us?  Obviously, the greatest and most urgent need is for every one to become one with our Great Center--Jesus Christ, and one with His precious truth.
Besides these, the following is a list of God's directions and God-given rules needed in setting up and maintaining Gospel Order among our separated home churches and  movement; this is not a church manual, but it is the wisdom of God for His people and church to adhere to.

It is hoped that you will be led to study this issue more fully, and then to follow the truth--doing all that you can to become one with Christ and one with each of your true brothers and sisters in the same separated faith.  If we do not become one with each other in the Lord, and come under gospel order, then what hope have we of receiving the latter rain?  And what hope have we of salvation?  God wants to work for us and through us; will we let Him?
God is already working to bring all His true separated people into unity before His mighty judgments go throughout the breadth of this wicked earth.  Will you come into unity my brothers and sisters?  This may be our last chance before God sets us aside and chooses others to take our places and who will obey His will!
"Last night I seemed to be standing before a large number of people who were not united.  One would stand back while another desired to go forward.  They were not standing in unity one with another.  I saw a heavenly being appear before them, and heard him say: `Come into line!  No one is fighting a battle on his own charges.  The Master of assemblies says, Come into line!'
"After this, I did not go to sleep again.  I wondered whether in this meeting our brethren were coming into line.  It is often very difficult for a large group of workers to come into full harmony one with another; but every one is to come into line, and fill his appointed place.  May God help His servants to do this, is my prayer.
"Although some may have followed their own way for a time, it is possible for them to return, and get into line.  The Lord sees that it is not best for His children to be allowed to do as they please, and refuse to unite with their brethren who view matters somewhat differently from the way in which they may view them.
"There are some who do not readily respond to the invitation to forsake their own way, and come into harmony with God's way.  They prefer to follow a way of their own choosing.  Those who wish to do so, have the privilege of continuing to walk in their own unconsecrated way, but the end of that way is sorrow and destruction....
"The Lord is coming.  The end of all things is at hand.  There remains but little time in which to develop character." This Day With God, p 35.

Those who refuse to obey God in coming into line in true unity will be shaken and sifted out of His true separated church and people.  So do not be surprised at all, or discouraged in the least, by this shaking among us; it is necessary for the purifying of God's church--preparatory for the closing up of this world's history and the coming of our blessed Lord and Saviour.
May we die to self, may we put away all sin and all pride, letting God work in and through us to bring us into closer union with Him and His dear Son, and into closer union with each other in a gospel "all ye are brethren" order, being prepared for the abundant outpouring of the precious gift of God's Holy Spirit in latter rain power.  Thus we can not only prove the verity of the following biblical truth, but we can live it and receive the blessing promised in it:
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!  It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; as the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore." Psalms 133:1-3.

Ministry News

As reported in our last Newsletter, we were busy getting things set up for the video recording of many of our studies and sermons which were only available in print or audio cassette.  We are thrilled to report that we began recording in May, and have already released our first monthly video in June titled "THE LAST MESSAGE OF MERCY: Part 1--the Latter Rain & Part 2--The Loud Cry."  We have already mailed out over 60 of this two-part study, and requests are still coming in!
We are continuing to record and produce a new video each month.  The video for the Month of July is "OUR HEAVENLY FATHER."  The video for the month of August is "CHRIST VERSUS THE CHURCHES."  Please refer to the flyers in this mailing.
The work in the Philippines is moving steadily forward.  The brethren are coming into greater and greater unity and working order, and God is richly blessing.  Brothers Grover and Boy, who are two of the five full-time Filipino ministers this Ministry is involved in supporting, write: "Last Saturday Boy and I baptized 9 brethren in Iligan City and there are also brethren that will be baptized during our Council Meeting (in July)."  Praise God for His mercy and grace in advancing the work in the Philippines, and around all the world as well!
With the help of dear brothers and sisters from Canada and both Coasts of America, we have raised enough money to secure the printing machine for our Philippine brethren!  We have placed down 1/2 of the money needed to secure the printing machine, and the other half will be sent as soon as is possible.  God is indeed working mightily through His unselfish people to help spread and finish His work across the world!  Our Filipino brethren will need approximately $200. U.S. per month for printing expenses to start with.  Will not one of our separated brethren, or possibly one of our separated home churches, be responsible for filling this monthly expense for our brethren?  What greater way to help spread the truth in the Philippians, as well as to share in all the souls won to the Lord through this agency, than to supply the money needed to print the truth on a monthly basis?  The brethren are intending to involve the youth in this printing of the truth--even the small children can take an active roll.  Please keep this in your daily prayers.
Also see if God impresses you to help with money for the vehicle for our Filipino brethren to quickly get from one meeting place to another, as well as transporting the printed materials of truth safely from place to place.  We still have several thousand dollars to go for this important project.
We have also accepted an invitation to speak at a Convocation sponsored by brother Jeremy Stone of Banner of Truth Ministries in Pennsylvania.  Brother and sister Cain of Warning! Last Call Ministries and brother Nelson Criswell of Word of Hope Ministry will also be speaking.  The dates for this important Convocation are August 13-17.  For more information please phone brother Stone.  I hope to see my East Coast brethren there--especially those whom I have not yet had the privilege of personally meeting!
We have just finished the Spanish translation and printing of another present truth booklet titled "Transmutation of the Three Angels."  Other booklets are already being translated.  Please continue petitioning God that the Spanish work will take hold and spread like wild-fire.  This field is one of the largest, and yet it is one of the least entered by the present truth!

Many hundreds of our missionary booklet "The Glorious Everlasting Gospel According to God's Word" have been passed out to non-SDA's, and we have enrolled our first precious soul in the free Bible Correspondence Course offered in the back of the booklet!  Please pray for James that God will open his understanding and that he will escape from darkness into God's kingdom of light.  We currently have other Bible Studies going with other individuals, but this was the first one obtained through this booklet.
We have prayerfully decided to begin supporting a new full-time minister/worker in Kenya, East Africa.  We have carefully investigated into his beliefs and positions, and are sure that he will continue to exert a good influence for the full message of present truth in his area.  Please uplift him in your prayers for God to greatly multiply his efforts in spreading the truth and establishing our African brethren in unity of the faith under gospel order.
We are currently in contact with and investigating several other brethren in several other Countries for the possibility of full-time support.  Your prayers are needed for divine guidance in this important area.  But what possibilities are before this separated movement in the finishing up of this work by the personal labors of hundreds of dedicated full-time ministers/workers around the world!  May God help our ministering brethren and lay-people, especially in America, to arise to the occasion and work for the salvation of souls while we can.  Soon we will not be able to financially communicate with other brethren across the world.  We may be limited solely to our own country!  What we do now must be done thoroughly and quickly!  May God grant us all the zeal and strength to win souls for His kingdom while the day lasts, for the night is coming sooner than we realize when no one can work.

LETTERS to "LET THERE BE LIGHT" Ministries

Dear Brother Bob,
My best wishes to everyone of you as we work for the Lord this last days....
The SDA church is now closing their doors by telling their members not to listen to us....The corporate church here in Mindanao is now teaching that the Beast is not the Pope but Satan; they teach the people that if Sunday law comes they can worship on Sunday and also on Saturday....Things are going worse here, but I just cling to God's promises specially in Romans 8:31--if God is for us, who can be against us.  We need your prayers, also as we are praying for you.
Yours in Christ Jesus, GS, Philippines

Dear Bob,
Am glad you are still at it!---Its been a long time since I've contacted you---but have always been mostly in agreement with you---our son in law always tried to influence us otherwise---i just quit arguing but continued believing what I saw as right by Bible and S.O.P.
Best Wishes, LT, NY

Dear Brother Sessler,
Brother I received your package of Booklets 8 in number, compact arrangement, one of the greatest display of the sins of the last days in the Church (SDA)...I still anticipate a lot (more materials) from you...Hoping that my request finds your favourable consideration.
I remain Yours faithful, JI, Uganda

Dear Brother Bob,
Thank you for the May-June "News Letter", it was full of encouragement and truly the secret to true unity.  The quotation in Early Writings page 100 is the key in establishing the body in the unity of the faith.  It has indeed been overlooked and neglected.  Gospel order would close the door at which the enemy comes in to perplex and trouble the flock, if followed according to God's plan....I will always stand in defense with my brothers and sisters in the unity of the body.  Please remember our family in your prayers, hope to hear from you soon.  May God bless and keep you and your family.
Prayerfully, RT, Australia

Dear Brother Bob Sessler,
I want to thank you for the video you send us.  Our small home church is growing and staying strong in the faith.  If you have any material that you feel we need to know or study to continue in Christ, building our character close to the Lord, please let us know...
Your Sister in Christ, RC, NY

     God is good!

"CHRIST VERSUS THE CHURCHES"

M Discover why there are so many professed Christian churches, but only a few real followers of Christ.
M Learn why the robe of Christ's righteousness will not cover even one sin.
M Understand that Independent Ministries and ministers are not something new, but there were Independent Ministries and ministers active nearly 2000 years ago and learn what their messages were as compared to today!
M Find out how what steps you need to make for God to be able to teach you His knowledge and doctrine--many have not fulfilled the conditions and yet think they have!
M Discern why Ellen White warned about the possibility of "another coming out" even "while missionary work is being done" to bring people into the church!
M All of the above, plus much more, will be found in this recorded sermon.
